Here in nigeria, anything goes, even B.SC anatomy with rudimentary knowledge in x ray reporting can establish his own radiodiagnostic centre. What i m just tryin to say is that normally, the head should be a consultant radiologist, then resident doctors, radiographers, anatomists, etc. Now, even ordinary comm. Health extension worker fit do ultrasound scan to diagnose leiomyoma

So many people mix up d resposibilty of dis 2 professions, radiologist and radiographier. I know radiologist are doctors dat diagnose d cause of a disease/sickness/ accident etc by interpretin d result gotten from medical imagin eg. Xray, scan ultrasound while radiographier allow captures medical images amd maintain d equipments. My question now is....... Are radiographier certified to establish their own medical diagnostic center where xrays, scan, ultrasound can be done? Thanks for ur response

Hello house, am really considering going for a 2nd degree, i had my 1st degree in Human Anatomy, hoping to have my 2nd degree in radiography, am currently runin my masters in Human Anatomy. I want to work as a university lecturer with my Human Anatomy, and opening a medical diagnostic center (x-ray, scan, ultrasound etc) wit my 2nd degree to be, please i need ur advice, especially from people in medical field.
