For our NOUN students who live abroad, please how do you log into your student portal?

The site doesn't seem to work, if VPN is required, please which one is best and free?

Write for a change of name
Attach your sworn affidavit and previous document eg. Original certificates and correct name on NIN.
Send and wait for their response.

For the first question, you do yours from scratch, you can copy the format of the previous owner doc he used for you. Just go to a cyber cafe and it would be done for you.

For the name of document in previous owners name, no issue about that, just tell the new buyer you didn't change name when you bought the vehicle. Hence the change of ownership and rest of doc would be in the name of previous owner not yours. The intending buyer

1. would have to just do due diligence by checking the name on the document and ensure they all correspond and are original

2. Snap seller and offcourse get a valid means of identifying the seller by getting his drivers license, voters card etc incase of future reference

1. custom documents fully stamped and check whether all things correspond like name and model of car, VIN and all payments were made. Mostly like 6 or more papers could be photocopy if multiple cars were cleared by one dealer but make sure it is a clear crisp document not faded crap and don't take the nobody will ask you for customer paper crap, it could spell doom or stolen vehicle.

2. CMR (computerized motor registration) original copy

3. Current insurance (original copy)

4. Vehicle licence (original copy)

5. Road worthiness certificate (original copy)

6. Plate number allocation (original copy)

7. Original proof of ownership fully stamped

8. You will collect two printed and signed documents
a. Change of ownership document
b. Receipt of purchase from previous owner

There are some other documents you may need like
1. Tinted permit doc
2. police report/doc of change of ownership/plate number/engine number (which we call vin)

make sure you see the change of ownership letter given to the buyer duly signed when he first bought it as Nigerian used except the car was bought as tokunbo then you may not need this.

Once the car doesn't have custom doc except it's a beetle and the documents have expired years ago, I suggest you stay away from such ride.

Please as a private seller, how do I get the bolded documents above when selling to potential buyer. I can’t just hand over the ones I received from the seller to the new buyer, cos that was an agreement between the previous owner and me. So to sell the vehicle to a new buyer, do I just type and print the declaration of change of ownership and receipt for the new buyer?

Also the names were never changed on the other documents (customs, police report, change of engine number etc) so it still bears the names of the person that I bought from. Would I need to change these to my name before I can sell the vehicle or do I just hand over those documents I received to the new buyer?

Please is there a programme or system for Irish Universities to admit (for continuation of studies) an undergrad student from Nigeria who is half way through studies and performing well cgpa-wise? Or would the student have to start afresh from freshman year?

I didnt start with money. I didn't even have a lot of money neither do I now. When i met her her mom was very sick. I paid for her mom's hospital bills. Then she fell sick herself, almost at the point of death and was rushed to the hospital. I wasn't around But i paid for her hospital bills as well. She got well and I had to change her accommodation. From face me i face you she was living with her family to 3 bedroom flat in a clean environment. I didn't do these to show off. The pain is that she was doing all these the same period she came back from hospital and was moving to the new house. I am pained that i was ridiculed with this guy while I was trying to register her in school cos she had no tertiary education and I chose to train her. What kind of heart does this? Would any one be this mean to someone who really cares about them?

I don’t think there’s any remedy to that since someone has attempted to fix it and it didn’t work.

What they normally do is to put 1 or 2 ic to help boost the console.

The guy didn’t use any ics. My memory is a bit dim since this was a long time ago, 2009/2010. But I remember he used a heat gun and toothpaste. That was all. He was clueless. I never had time to take it to anyone else. YouTube didn’t really help much back then cos the videos I saw talked about using a hair dryer and covering the console with a thick towel or duvet to melt some metal plates in the system.

I am not talking about new SIM. I'm talking about NIN enrollment. I did mine last month in Glo office in Jos when I went for a business trip there. I was enrolled and few hours later they called me to come for the print out. You can walk in to any Telco outlet and demand to be enrolled for NIN not necessarily when you want to purchase a SIM card. All the outlets in Abuja are doing it.

Telcos can now enroll you for NIN right there in their office. So all she needs to do is to present herself for biodata capture when buying the sim. I enrolled for NIN at a globacom outlet

I was at an Mtn office today to enquire and was told they have not started issuing new SIM cards.

When this NIN link with sim started, I linked both my personal sim and my mom's with my NIN. Though she's gotten her own NIN now.

In your case, I don't think it really matters. Your aunt could go ahead and register for her NIN, then input the number you bought for her if required.

The sim is already linked to my NIN. So my aunt can’t use it to register her NIN. Technically, she doesn’t have a phone number. She is using mine cos I bought it, registered and linked it to my existing NIN, then gifted it to her.

Thanks for the bolded. The last paragraph in my original post explains my issue with this. Please read and tell me if she can buy and register a new sim without NIN. Wouldn’t she need a phone number to enroll the NIN?

Please is it possible to unlink a registered phone number from a NIN. If so, how?

Supposing I lost my sim and don’t want to retrieve it, how do I go about unlinking it from NIN just in case the network provider recycles the phone number?

Is it also possible to register for NIN without a phone number?

Let’s say for instance, that I linked one of my phone numbers (which I bought for my semi literate Aunt in the village) to my NIN when the sim block scare was on and now she wants to register for her NIN herself and use the phone number as hers. We would naturally not want the phone number to throw up my details during NIMC registration (as double registration) and reject her/not permit her to obtain her own NIN.
How do you resolve this?

If you say she should get her own fresh new phone number, can she get a new sim without NIN? How can she register for NIN without a SIM when you need the NIN to get a SIM?

The girl I am engaged to and want to marry told me today that i love her more than she loves me. What does this mean?

There was something we were discussing and I told her there are several things that she does that makes me doubt if she truly loves me. She then replied saying, she loved her ex more than he loved her, and so she decided to not love anyone more than she loves them. That as for me, I love her more than she loves me, that’s why I sometimes thinks she doesn’t love me.

I told her this is not something you tell someone you want to marry and she said I am taking it too far.

Please am I making a mistake to want to marry her? Does she love me? Or am I taking her statement too far like she said?
