You have to understand that the journey of life actually began at birth. And your discovery of who you are is your pathway to your glorious destiny. Your life will ultimately revolve around your decisions.
Now, there are few points/questions you must sincerely ask yourself and provide the answer by yourself.
1. Are you born again? If yes!
2. Are you baptised in the Holy Ghost? If yes! Then ask the Holy Spirit to minister to you. At this point, don't pretend. Be sincere to yourself because this is the point you need fasting and prayer (Please read: 2Chronicles15:1-15; Habbakuk 2:1-3; Psalm 85:8; Jeremiah 33:3).
Breakthrough and success is not the first thing you need now, you first of all need to put your house in order. In other words, you'll need to put yourself together. As long as you're sincere to yourself, you can't fail in life. Since your soul is yearning for a new way/direction of life, you're probably going to be successful in due time (3John 1:2). The prosperity of your soul is the number one priority and once your soul prosper, you're bound to prosper.
Mind you, you must as a matter of fact guard/keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23). God bless you.

B1/B2 is a visit visa for tourists and business transactions,medical visits and conferences.

H1 is the work permit equivalent in the USA but I doubt if you qualify for one.
I advise you to read up as much as you can

Alright, when I say I want to do things legally I mean, I want to acquire legal and relevant documents that will not compromise my integrity and the integrity of the country I'm representing (Nigeria). This is going to be my first international trip anyway. And my first appearance at the embassy. That's why I have to open up here after carefully followed this trend. Anyway, every advice and suggestion is welcome and highly appreciated.

You can try Abuja. Its very likely you get an earlier date. Otherwise, you can go ahead and book any available date in Lagos with the hope that you find an earlier date later on. Note that you are only allowed to reschedule once.

Why the delay in getting the invitation letter? I suggest you apply for Visa if you are sure of getting the letter. If the letter doesn't come on time then you can defer your Visa interview

Well, the delay in getting the invitation letter is simply because according to them I must write two assignments in other to qualify me for participating in the training which I have already written and submitted the first assignment awaiting the second assignment to be sent since.

Secondly, I'm still expecting my INVITATION LETTER to be sent from the organisation that is organising the training. But since I'll also be visiting/staying with a friend, do I also need an additional invitation letter from that my friend as a back-up/attached document?
