Why not.
I read it.

You started from a neutral point and then end up being sentimental.

Government are not treating medical professionals well in this country, I agree .

My postulation in that thread is about the N.M.A Cold War with Johesu.
We support them demanding for better treatment from the government the same way johesu expect them to support us.

Whatever agreement we johesu have with the government or whatever our demands are should not be a treat to them.

They have been kicking against johesu interest secretly for years now through the ministers of health who are doctors.

We need partnership,
They support us,
We support them.

In Canada, there was a protest by doctors over being overpaid and for the welfare agenda of other health professionals to be met.
That's mutual respect and cooperation.
.
I have no issue with doctors, I have many of them as friends in my work place and I have worked with them a lot.
The man who fathered me is also one.
Plus two siblings in the profession.

But we have to put things in place.
Them themselves are being exploited in Nigeria,
What a doctor in Europe is earning a month is far superior to what a doctor is earning in Nigeria,
That's why many of them are leaving.
.
Johesu is not in any war with NMA.
.
As for your later part,
You don't expect a medical lab people to allow microbiologists to take over their job.
You said that you read microbiology In your first degree, you thought you will compete with med lab guys but reality dawned on you.
Maybe you are now in the medical school and you now deem it fit to be antagonizing anything med lab.

.
Secondly.
We university graduate nurses have no issue with school of nursing trained nurses,
A nurse is a nurse except Auxiliaries.

.
Everybody is important in the health sector.
Even the gateman at the hospital gate.

Thanks.

why discriminating Auxiliary Nurses again? This is why I love ISLAM. It's is devoid of such rubbish

Tradition is tradition.

In my place, if a piece of custom is not followed, it can still be done even after 100 years. The question no one has answered is why a simple phone call was not placed to me. Till today, no one has even bothered to explain or apologize.

Elders do not go to gatherings they were never invited to in the first place.
That's why I said they are wicked. They are still arrogant. I repeat. DON'T GO

KOPT33:
I am the first son of my father who is now late.

When my father died some 11 years ago, I relocated to Lagos to finish my schooling. I lived with my aunt then but I had to leave their home because I was being abused. Upon leaving my aunt's house, things became so difficult for me but I persevered with my education till I finished my bachelors.

During my lean years, I fell out with most of my family members. My mom refused to speak to me for three years, I was essentially the outcast of the family. During this period, my mom and some elders in our family gave out my sisters hand in marriage.

The couple had a trad/white wedding. Bride price was paid, all the customs of our people were followed save for one: the consent or knowledge of the first son. I wouldn't get to hear about this marriage until six months later. That night, I cried because their action proved that I was nobody, a nothing to my mom and siblings.

Anyways, I kept on working hard and soon became comfortable. I mended fences with everyone in my family, but even at that, no one offered an explanation why things unfolded the way it did or an apology. I didn't make any noise, I just picked up myself and moved on after committing the lessons learned to mind.

Six years and two children later, my sisters marriage has hit the rocks.

Now they're asking me as the first born to mediate and talk to the man.

I REFUSED.

The man (sister's husband) won't speak to my mom or the other elders he had been dealing with regarding a possible reconciliation. My family know me to be a good mediator and peace maker and they are not wrong.

I refused because there is no point mediating in a marriage that was done over my head.

As it stands now, I have no interest in playing head of house or anything of such nature. I send money, I help make connections, I foot bills for everyone in the family but I leave their decision making to them since they discounted me right from the very beginning. I have no interest whatsoever in becoming a leader in that family.

What would you do if you were in my shoes?
Don't mediate, they are WICKED
Romance / Re: Couple Who Were Breastfed By Same Woman To Wed In Sokoto Tomorrow (Photos) by Faraidi(m): 7:45pm On Apr 06, 2018
ChangeIsCostant:
A heated debate is going on among Nigerian online users ahead of a couple's controversial wedding tomorrow in Sokoto state.

According to reports, the intending groom's mother breastfed the about-to-be bride for some days when she was still a baby due to some undisclosed circumstance.

It was gathered that the couple who are like siblings, Abdulrazak Muhammad and Asma'u Aliyu Silame have been urged not to marry due to the complicated situation which is said to be against Islamic religion but they seem adamant and are set to continue with their wedding on Saturday, April 7th.

Now, online users have reacted to this development with most saying the ''un-Islamic'' marriage won't work.

hello house please help a sister out.. my relationship of 6 to 7 years is about to crash..
I Love my man and he loves me too.. he stands by me in all times and I do the same for him too in fact our relationship is a typical example of grassroots relationship.. but recently I'm beginning to get frustrated at his attitude or should I say our attitude towards each other.. which is why I resorted to you guys.. this is a faceless forum so I feel comfortable to share my worries..

in recent years I found out that our quarrels, dispute, misunderstanding and bitterness has drastically increased and it bothers me alot.. he quarrel more often this days and can even stay up-to a month without communication.. he complains about everything I do and that's me angry.. AM NOT A SAINT HERE cos he complains of my non Challentless too.. but this our constant quarrels and misunderstanding is driving crazy.. I've cried and ask GOd to dissolve us if it's not his will for us to get married rather than us fighting all the time. HONESTLY AM CONFUSED PLEASE YOUR ADVICE IS NEEDED. I love him and he loves me but we fight a lot.. our wedding is Sept ( still don't believe is possible though)..
