Are you sure all is well with your application? Have you tried getting in touch with IQAS? Even if processing time was 9 weeks when you applied, you should have received your ECA by now.

Had explained the delay earlier(school sent transcript via nipost, was never delivered I think.resent another via courier. Got acknowledgment 2nd mail)from IQAS last month). So I think all is well

Before you sleep with 9weeks processing time and wake up with 29weeks. That will not be our portion in Jesus name.

This is serious. I started when it was 15 days and am yet to receive my ECA.

Please my transcript was sent to IQAS with a different age while my international passport carries a different age. I didnt know transcripts bear ones age, now i'm troubled as to whether it will affect my ECA already paid to be assessed by IQAS.

Please if anyone here has had similar issue pls advice on next step and/or best option. I appreciate the help.

How did you find out about this? Did you see your transcript before it was sent?

I think you can add it . reason being only your LLB is evaluated and not your BL. So you commenced paid employment after your LLB.
People on here have used nysc period to make up so why can't you use what you have. My take though.

Regarding the ECA i think its important one enforce the school to use other courier instead of nipost but then i have this to ask" I am in possession of my transcripts but it's dated 2010 didn't use it back then so I just kept it intact/unopened?. Can I send that for evaluation to IQAS?. Will the date/address be any problem? Or I shd request for another one but mind you,ASUU is on strike?

There's an IQAS form ment to be filled and attached to the transcript by the school before sending to IQAS. I think a new request would be better so they don't insinuate foul play and refuse to evaluate your degree. Meaning wasted cash.

That 10-12wks wait besides results would be frozen and can't enter the pool until result is out. Make I just write again jor.
I can get into the pool when my ECA is out then update with new perfect score

I studied using materials form this platform and ielts Liz.
IQAS: I registered and sent my docs in March; school sent my transcript in April but after waiting almost 2 months and not getting the second maiI from IQAS,i made enquires and was told it was sent via nipost. I requested that it be resent via courier. With that I was able to track delivery. Got the second mail about a week after delivery (that was last month).expecting result anytime soon.

Just got a copy of my ECA in the mail, a good five days from when I got a mail it was complete. This is for those awaiting ECA from IQAS. Ietls time!! Slowly but surely!!

Confirmation

Acknowledgement now takes several days...I am still waiting since 13th of May to receive my acknowledgement.

Thanks for your response.however, am aware of all these.
My contact at the school said the school has sent the transcript via courier but has asked him to confirm courier service and if possible get the tracking number , that he is unable to get just yet and am yet to get a confirmation mail from IQAS.
I just want to know who as requested for a transcript from ekpoma and Hw long it took IQAS to confirm receipt.

1. Why do you need to travel all the way to Nigeria to apply for a US visa?
2. Earliest available date for interview is found on the site. The earlier you fill, submit and schedule your appointment the better.
3. You have got good travel history.
Whether you will be granted a visa is the sole prerogative of the VO. Just be honest whilst filling your form. Good luck.

Yep, I had this problem too.I had to send a mail to them from the profile requesting that the kids be removed from my husband's profile.
A mail will be sent to your mail box confirming removal.only then can ano.profile using the kid's details be created.

Been following this thread for a while now and would like to thank you all for your inputs. I and my kids had our interview yesterday May 11th and this is how it went:

Me: good morning ( then hand passports over)
VO: why do you want to travel to the united states
Me:for a family vacation this summer
VO: where are you going to in the states
Me: Orlando, Florida.
VO: are you gonna be staying with family, friends.....?
Me: with Family
VO: who?
Me: my aunt in-law,Mrs.......... more of a grandmother to my kids
VO: okay, is your husband travelling with you?
Me: yes he is; he already has a visa(shows her a copy of his visa)
VO:What do you do?
Me: I am.............
VO: what does your husband do?
Me: He ...............
VO: have you travelled out of the country before?
Me: No, I haven't
VO:How about within the country?
Me: yes
VO: as a family....?
Me: Yes
VO:has your husband ever travelled out of the country?
Me: yes

Me: America, South Africa & Dubai
VO: why didn't you and the kids apply for the US visa lottery with your husband?
Me: we weren't married, and the kids weren't born then either.
Note she was typing away on her PC in between the interview session.

VO continues typing away.looks up and hands over a white paper, visa granted and we should pick passports up on Tuesday at our choosen pickup point.
Note that questions relating to my husband were based on info from his own application (she pulled his up!)
Thank God I was the one that filled the form and prepped him for his interview last yr based on this forums discussions.

Please I just booked appointment for me my wife and my two children, I thought I will have to schedule the appointment individually so I started with my daughter, never knew I've made her the host. Please is there a way I can swap this? I.e making me the host. Thanks

How did you make your daughter ' the host', did you create a profile using her details?
As a family, you ought to have created a profile and scheduled your appointment together as a 'family' not individually.

Am unable to create another profile. Pop up states my details exists in another profile; I've deleted details from hubby's but same feedback. Now am confused

Hi everyone and thanks for all your contributions on this thread. I have filled and submitted our(myself & kids) d160 forms and now trying to schedule a family appointment using Hubby's profile(he has a valid visa).Issue is he is being included in the appointment as am required to also fill his payment details. Is it advisable to just create another profile or just fill 'NIL' in the box?
NB: am trying to link ours with his so the VO knows hubby has a visa already.
