They still charge the same price as buses running on petrol. The one I entered this evening charged me exactly the same fare as the petrol powered buses.

If the cost of running these buses has gone down, why are commuters still paying the same price?

Sometimes, Nigerians are part of the reason Nigeria remains the way it is.

We complain about the system, but when we get the opportunity to make things better, some people still choose to maximize profit at the expense of everyone else…. So terrible 😣

Because the transportation system are still operated by individuals.

For transportation fare to come down, all medium of transportation must be operated and maintained by the government, then you will see great changes

It’s really a shame that the FG has been playing politics with modernization and upgrade of Onne port especially after Tinubu Government booted out Intels on the management of the Port.

Much as those responsible for this heinous act should be arrested and tried, we should be very careful in taking actions that will ultimately make it hard for the security agencies to be very decisive and ruthless in checkmating economic sabotage.

We have this habit of throwing away the baby with the bathwater in this country.
The security personnels must be protected and seniors trying to save themselves from possible punishment, should not be allowed to draw in innocent subordinates into this issue.

There is a reason why the security operatives tend to be ruthless on this issue in the north. Most of those involved in solid minerals thefts are the ones funding banditry which has ravaged the north. Essentially, most of them are not walking around with clean hands.

This is the more reason why the government must punish those whose orders or negligence of duties led to these deaths, but must do so in a way that doesn't dampen the morale of the security forces, to the extent that they become nonchalant to the activities of illegal miners in the future..

So can you tell us how you want them to be punished with a case that involves mass death?

So yesterday this story about a certain Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo started trending. E! News even reported the story, reporting that this individual died after a penis-enlargement procedure in Thailand led to a fatal pulmonary embolism.

I came across this post on X looking at the timeline and some of the things surrounding his death, and honestly, I think it’s worth ruminating over. What caught my attention is that he actually died on March 6, 2026. According to the reports, though, the details of what happened is only now coming out months later through the UK coroner’s inquest.

I’m not saying there’s anything fishy going on. I just find the whole timeline interesting and wondering if, yunno, the owl has a human face. 😁
