A flag of ship represents the nationality of a ship which means the flag state which the ship was registered to it..... In this case the yacht was flying two flags (France and Nigeria) The ship hoisted the French flag because the yacht is sailing in France Port or coastal territory. The yacht (Rania) is not registered to Nigeria flag state, but instead sailing under the flag of Cayman Islands (Seafarers and maritime enthusiast knows why lot of shipowners loves registering in countries like this... especially Panama, Liberia, Marshall Islands) in Maritime glossary its called Flag of convenience The Yacht is owned or chartered by a powerful, Wealthy or Politician from Nigeria (Hence the reason the yacht is flying two flags (Its a normal stuffs onboard leisure ships like Yacht) Its not necessary to be a President before a ship hoist such flag onboard.... |

favor914:So what's your point now? |
Coronavirus1:lol you think that’s how it works? It’s a standard international practice in the oil and gas Industry….. For example, Chevron has an already buyer for their crude oil (They are paying taxes to the FG) they have invested heavily in their business and they have the right to sell crude oil to anyone they deem fit. Even you as a businessman, the FG can’t force you to sell to only local consumers if you are have international buyers who’s ready to buy a good price and in hard currency. NNPC in the other hand should allocate their crude oil quota to the domestic market. FG can’t force IOCs to sell their crude oil to Dangote …. Except you want OPEC to sanction Nigeria from selling crude oil to international market (This may affect Nigeria badly and may lead to massive job losses in the industry) The question we should be asking, What is NNPC doing with their own crude oil allocation….. You see that NNPC, there’s a massive corruption going on in that corporation that even Tinubu can’t do anything. |
Obinnau:No sir…. |
floshady02:Working on a 3 bedroom flat with office space and laundry/Inverter room…. I’ve completed the German floor with Soakaway….. I’ve spent almost 6 million Naira lol I don keep am for now, Though I’ve moulded 3500 blocks on site. I will continue when the spirit leads…. Lol |
Nice one |
To be frank…. This is really a big slap to the country Imagine such phoney Chinese company going to seize Airforce one Jet lol sha they can’t even think about it. The Ogun SG and FG should put their heads together and see how they can resolve this issue before it puts the country at a higher shameful stage |
ncoolsome:That’s true…. IOCs like Chevron, Total has already standby buyers in market before Dangote came on stream, Laws and agreements has been in place before he came to the industry, Chevron can’t stop supplying to its international buyers (That’s a breach of agreement) and NNPC can’t force the IOC’s to sell crude oil to Dangote (worst of all in Naira). They are lot of things in place before such deals cut through even the Presidential order can’t do anything (It can cause OPEC sanctions, because these IOCs in Nigeria can pull strings to mess up the economy of this country) IOCs spends billions of Dollars in production and research, and you won’t expect them to start selling their crude oil in Naira. Blame NNPCL for staking their crude oil quota for long term loans….. In as much we all yearn for a good economy, Low FX rate… Dangote is a one greedy businessman (He’s wailing because he’s not getting what he wants as usual) |
aidameoryou:I didnt create a virtual account card with bitnob again.... So I can't give an honest opinion on it |

CrossRhodes:We have other species in abundance especially deep sea..... And we do fish too while at sea (Though in very small quantity, if we want to change our taste buds to the regular Tilapia & croaker fish supplied to our vessel) 1. Mahi-Mahi - Doesn't comes around often and not easy to catch (it do changes colour too) ..... Sometimes it will drag your line and cut it off 2. Tuna - Very easy to catch and loves silver and shiny objects, no need for bait, It has a lot of blood and taste like meat when dried..... 3. Wahoo- Looks like barracuda but without scales 4. Yellow Tail - Sweetest fish of all ![]() We have lot of fishes in Nigeria...... Just that both FG and SG aint serious about fish business.... The chinese are fishing illegally in our territorial waters with trawlers even some shrewd business men are doing same without remitting tax to the government. We have another fish called "Torpedo Scad" these type of species are in Quantum.... e no fit finish, e full Naija deep sea
|
FarmersUNIT7:lol Red Snapper is not a rare fish, it’s in abundance at shallow sea areas especially around all those bouys, SBM unit or FPSO or FSO keels eating sea growth or feeding on food waste thrown into sea…. Ibeno, Oron has lot of other fish species in abundance…. |
