Zephd:
If your aim is to become a better digital marketer, there are two basic things you need to acquire. These are Skills and Work Experience. I will show you how you can easily acquire both below.

To acquire skills and knowledge in the field of Digital Marketing, you will need to take some courses which can either be done online or offline. Some sites where you can take such online courses in Digital Marketing are:

* GenM
* Google Digital Skills for Africa Platform
* Simplilearn
* Hootsuite
* Udemy, etc

Most of these platforms are paid platforms. However the Google platform is free as well as GenM. The GenM platform however offers not just Free digital marketing courses. They also offer Apprenticeships that will give you the opportunity to work with businesses from all over the world while strengthening your skills and building your portfolio. This leads us to the second basic thing you will need to acquire to become a full fledged digital marketer. Work Experience.

After acquiring digital marketing skills, you will need a platform where you can practice. Because when it comes to digital marketing, whether you have a ton of certificates does not matter. What matters is that you are able to deliver. This is why you need to practice what you have learnt. At this stage, you might want to consider taking internships or working for free or at low rates for friends who own businesses in order to have some proof for your portfolio.

If you can get these two basic things on hand, not only will you be better equipped to get reasonable jobs in Nigeria, you will also be better equipped to land freelance gigs and international jobs in the field of digital marketing.

For the opportunity to learn digital marketing for free and practice your skills while doing so, register with GenM.

While high paying jobs in Nigeria today remain highly competitive, it is important to mention that a lot of opportunities continue to unfold for the young Nigerians who will never give up on learning and acquiring more skills. In this age, skills rule the world.

It is also plausible to mention the fact that, where social media continues to be the spoke piece for the new media, companies and small scale businesses cannot afford to undermine the potency of the social media as it is one of the viable alternative for sales and advertising.

This is why Google decided to implement its Digital Marketing Programme to train several Nigerians so as to learn how to increase the visibility of their small scale businesses as well as manage other people's businesses. These form of activities can be grouped under coporate, agency and personal. Won't want to dwell much on this. So for the young Nigerians, I cannot overemphasize the potency of the social media for the age of unemployment.

The Digital Marketing training which also comes with certification, comes with its opportunity. Here you will be guided on how to acquire Digital Skills to promote businesses. More so, you will be able to get Google certification within 48hours depending on your speed.

This is a lifetime opportunity for you to add value to yourself. Believe you me, you have nothing to loose but everything to gain.

Drop your number to be added to our Whatsapp group now. You're very close to becoming a certified Digital Marketer.

The saying often goes like this- 'life is 20% what happens to us and 80% how we respond to it. So while you might be overthinking or beating yourself up over what you cannot change, why not think of a solution.

Why not sit down and look forward? I simply don't know how you feel, although I know how it feels to prepare for exams and not get the desired results. My advice still remains- think forward. Aim at the goal. The goal is to gain admission. Isn't it? The truth is, a lot of people have gained admission into the University without JAMB; that's no news, anyway.

Think forward. You've got several options- IJMB, JUPEB, CAMBRIDGE. Why sit and be uncertain? Take risk is what you tell an aspiring entrepreneur. For those seeking admission we say, be smart- consider other viable options.

CAMBRIDGE

Education / Finish Your Academic Project And Thesis Under 2 Months by Fatodax(m): 11:05pm On Mar 26, 2019
Yes, you read me well. You can finish your projects within a month, depending on your topic- and that's why I am writing this article.

I remember how long it took me to complete my MA thesis, in spite of the fact that one of my research mentors had told me to work on something familiar- something I could do easily do and get away, but hell, no! I wanted to be different- I wanted to do something novel. And I guess everyone likes trudging the seemingly new path. But the question is, how many are willing to pay the price?

The fact is, nothing could be more frustrating than trying to innovate. It could be a total failure, perhaps, a repeated failure. Success is not guaranteed- no regrets for me though, it was much better than being boring- not doing anything.

Subsequently, after my colleague had submitted their projects, some things came to me naturally. I developed my research skill, perhaps, a skill innovative by itself. I called it MT( Mother Tricks). If you want to be innovative, and if you are ready for something really novel, this piece might not be for you. However, you should know this fact:

"Every form of writing is a re-writing of another", said, a literary professional. I would relay the name when I remember.
I also read a particular book that reads:
In college, an English professor said something that changed my life.

"The best writers are the best thieves," he said."Shakespeare stole his plots from Greek and Roman plays. Thomas Jefferson practically plagiarized the Declaration of Independence from John Locke. Oscar Wilde stole from... well... everyone" - John Morrow, in 52 Headline Hacks

In fact, if you don't know, Chima Amanda's "Purple's Hibiscus" was said to be a rewritten of Achebe's "Things Fall Apart" told in another fashion. Just look at Okonkowo in Jaja's father and you get the picture. Things Fall Apart itself borrowed from W.B Yeats when he said.

" turning and turning in the widening gear... the falcon cannot hear the falconer... mere anarchy is loose upon the world... things have fallen apart.

Sorry if there be mistakes. I'm typing from my brain. Can you also remember "The Gods are Not to Blame" written by Obarotimi? It was a rewritten of Sophocles' Oedipus Rex by Bertolt Brecht.

Briefly, I'll quickly drop the following tricks- my Mother Trick. I hope they assist you:

1. Don't try to do anything novel, except you want to fail and fail again, then become Thomas Edison.
2. Carve your research topic from existing research: some research work identify gaps other researchers can work on. Make use of that.
3. Look for areas that not only interest you, but you're knowledgeable about.
4. Get a research coach. This will reduce your stress- psychological or emotional.
5. Hire a professional and trustworthy writer. If you are a busy person or hate writing, getting a professional is a smart thing to do. Even lecturers- professors and doctors make use of their students.
6. Set your time.
7. Calm down. It's not as tough as you think.
8. Pay attention to 4, 5, 6 and 9.
9. Contact me on 08037397932, and let me add you to my research group. You should find one or two mentors there. Plus, it's not free if you want to hire the service of anyone there.

Note: I have my team of professionals. We can give you tips, tricks and advice on how to work on the psychology of your supervisor.

Business / Please How Can I Make Money Registering Students For Jamb by Fatodax(m): 10:44pm On Sep 28, 2018
I have about three laptops and a good location to register students for jamb. Though I was initially thinking of a coaching center, but I learned I might have to be accredited to do it on a larger scale. Being that I don't have the capital and resources to start big, please how can I make use of my small space and the three computers at my disposal to be able to achieve this?

Business / For Writers Only by Fatodax(m): 12:41pm On Sep 19, 2018
I was reading some posts on the business trend on nairaland, and I was able to infer from many of the posts that writers, especially beginners, will encounter several difficulties in their authorial adventure. This difficulties will cover areas such as titling, proofreading and editing, introduction and getting reviews for their works. The truth be told - writing is as difficult as flying a jet or an aeroplane - it demands utmost attention and consistent failure. However, for those who are already planning on putting their works online, on platform such as kindle, some failures are to be avoided, because that will mean sending a bad impression or creating a bad reputation for your career. I will mention just one thing and first thing a writer should do before attempting to publish:
A writer must proofread and edit his/her work. A writer should not attempt to write at all if he/she cannot proofread or edit his/her work. Also, he/she must beat it in mind that proofreading could be easily done by him/her to detect the grammatical infelicity or his/her utterance, but the fact remains that, to do a proper editing will require a professional touch as there are dimensions to writing. These dimension range from the lexis, collocation, syntax and discourse levels to mention a few. You might be able to escape a few brilliant criticism,but if your work has failed in its many linguistic respect, your work which might have sold will earn little or no positive reviews on platforms such as Amazon. My research over the years as to the failure of many African writers in ebook production has revealed that grammatical infelicity and puctuation gap hindered lots of progress. In short, my company, johnfatodax incorporation sets out to profer solution to these problems. You can reach me on 08037397932 or fatodax@gmail.com. We edit for at a very low. Thanks
