This news was exposed last week by Sahara Reporters that Katsina state government sponsored some Boko Haram Commanders on pilgrimage to Mecca at a cost of N10 million naira each.

I used to have a good / very churchy cousin sister like that who was unmarried till around 35 years of age.

And this most times turn most men away from them.

It's one thing to be good but it's another thing to constantly want to prove it to people.

Trust me, a man knows a good lady when he sees one. Most men knows how to treat a good woman, you constantly saying "I'm not one of those cheap girls" and so on doesn't make any difference, it only pushes the man away.

You might be saying "the genuine man" or "intentional man" will continue to pursue or apply pressure, my dear they will not.

And this is why most of you miss good men and then later in a hurry settle for men you may not like.

I've seen too many girls dodging potential and even men of substance and later settled for people way less than them.

Take my cousin for instance, the one man who was once genuinely interested in her, came with a big car.

He was big but she was young, beautiful and all "in the lord". She once said to people "he thinks I'll like him because of his cars"

When she started midnight prayers for marriage with fasting aggressively eh. It was not funny o.

Every prayer at midnight was filled with husband requests, how did I know this? Because she prayed loudly and everyone in the compound can hear it.

Who did she later settled for? A teacher! Way older than her.

Imagine a man probably at 45 years, with almost nothing going on for him.

As a lady, understand that relationship is not magical. It's not 'godly'.

I have another girl from my school. Then she was the girl every medical student wanted.

I remember in one of the service the older pastor keep speaking on why brothers often go outside to marry while the sisters are 'good' and beautiful.

It's simply because these girls have become 'un-talk-to-able'.

You are a good observer and your points are very valid.
They may be beautiful, claim virginity but most often have attitudes issue and uncouth with their mouth in talking down on genuine and reasonable suitors trying to woo them. I have someone very close to me who exhibited all you mentioned above and more.

As how now. Honourable Leke Abejide won House of Representatives seat twice on the platform of AD C in 2019 and 2023 and was a member until recently that he defected to APC. So, by virtue of these ADC ought to be exempted.

This is sensational and misleading to a common man.
Dangote is only paying 3 kinds of taxes to Federal government.
1. Value added tax(VAT) which is deducted on sales of cement. The tax is passed to the consumer. So, his company only served as agent for the collection.
2. Company income tax (CIT) which is paid at 30% of assessable profit.
3. Education tax which is 2% of the assessable profit for the funding of the education sector.
Effectively, CIT & Education tax are the only one paid by dangote from profit quantum made each year. The value added tax is paid by the consumers of his products.

Like the writer rightly said. APC is a special purpose vehicle. Most defectors and new joiners have one different purposes of joining the party. Some join to get cover against EFCC, ICPC etc for their corruption cases while in office, some to contest for next election, others to be close to corridors of power for pecuniary benefits - political appointment, contracts etc.
APC is a gathering of strange bed fellows. They are not bound by common ideology.
It is a conglomerate of members from ANPP CPC, PDP, LP, PRP etc. The party implosion will happen unexpectedly when the different interest and expectations of the individuals are no longer being met.

Besides, no empire reigns forever.
