Please Baba handlers & close associates should advice him to stop at this point. After 6 years the change has never being positive & progressive in the lives of the common man, he should not bother again.

The current IGP is trying so hard to fight illegality. The powers to appoint, promote & discipline police officers are conferred in the Police Service Commission. There is Civil Service Commission, Judicial Service Commission, The National Assembly Service Commission to mention a few. He is very much aware of the role the Commission had played in the past. This had been consistently followed by all the past IGPs.
We have not heard of any rancour or disagreement in the discharge of their individual role. Why now? Does the recruitment follow due process? Was each state given a fair quota as recommended by the Nigerian Constitution to reflect Federal Character principle? Was any part of the country fully exhaust its quota or totally excluded from filling its quota? So many questions are begging for answers.

The truth is the IGP had definitely go against the rules of engagement. He probably had unilaterally filled the 10,000 recruits without the knowledge of PSC & want the appointment rubber stamped by PSC.

He had obviously usurped the powers of the PSC & that is evident in the refusal of the PSC to approve what had been its traditional role being taken over by IGP. All state of the Federation is entitled a space of appointment in the Nigeria Police Force.
The PSC is to regulate the personnel administration into the Force & not just one man claiming the boss. I wish the Supreme Court should uphold the ruling of the Appeal Court & declare the recruitment unconstitutional.

This is really a trying time for Nigeria & the fight against corruption.
EFCC is not a useless agency. Politicians, civil & public servants who occupied positions of trust are the useless set of human being.

Go & check Nigeria constitution very well, their are adequate laws & provision meant to punish stealing, graft, misappropriation & conversion of government funds & assets into private use. The Nigeria police & judicial officer in the court will scuttle & drag the prosecution process.

Politicians & civil servants don't fear laws again because lawyer will come to their defense & truncate their conviction.

We need EFCC & special Court to try corrupt individuals & agencies alleged to have being involved in corruption.

what is the essence of burial? or Better put what are we burying? The spirit which is the man has gone back to its creator. It is the remains(mortal body) that is being taken back to where it comes from- which is the earth. The custom or the tradition of burying a deceased immediately after death or months after is just ceremonial. If you like sweep your room in the morning or evening, it doesn't matter. Dust will return to dust any time you choose to do your cleaning.
