Business › My New Year Giveaway - Fattkay by fattbabakay(op): 4:45am On Dec 27, 2017*. Modified: 5:56pm On Nov 25, 2018 |
Hey hey, my people, I was meant to create this thread on XMAS day but one devilish sore throat held me hostage and demanded ransom. But as a child of God, I escaped! Now, subsequent to my previous post on this thread as regards my New Year giveaway As I mentioned earlier, no matter the amount given to you, you'll finish spending it and if care is not taken, you'll still go back to that thread to seek help next year. So in that stead, I have decided to help some set of people (interested ones) with what I do, Internet Marketing; With blogging and freelancing being the basics. I will be creating blogs for 10 people (I'll help you with everything but content) and I'll also be creating Fiverr accounts for 10 people (You might have to google what that means in case you have no idea). These are opportunities worth more than money and are bound to give you financial freedom in 2018 if you are really serious. Now this is it...I literally have zero time to spare for this, as I'm always preoccupied with a lot to do, but I just have to do it yunno . Therefore, I will be very selective in choosing who to help in this case. Heads up, I have zero tolerance for time wasters and lazy people. Before I give the conditions, let me give you a brief of the two options for those who have little or no idea. So you can know if you can do it or not... Blogging: This is one of those come-slow-come-big sort of internet hustles. You are not to expect a huge sum of income in few weeks or even more. But once it comes, it lasts for a long time. I'll give you some hints to make the best out of it. You cannot do this if you are busy, you cannot do this if you're lazy, you cannot do this if you have weak writing skills e.g if you don't know the difference between "am" and "I'm" (pun intended ) and you can not do this if you don't have passion for anything you can blog about e.g fashion, tech blablabla. I'm just trying to be realistic so we won't waste time. If you know you don't trust yourself with any of the aforementioned, it's likely you give up halfway, 80% of new bloggers do, I won't be surprised, but don't waste my time, we can always talk about some other hustles, but not this one. Fiverr: This is freelancing. Basically offering some random skills online. This might make you sharp money within a month ( luckily, not guaranteed) if you know your onions. However, you must have a digital skill(s) e.g content writing, graphics, animations, programming/web design, or online marketing. All the same, you can't do it if you are lazy or busy (and not ready to create enough time). Generally: Internet hustles will not work for you if you are lazy, busy (unless you want to take it as a side-hustle, which doesn't apply in this case). It'll as well be hard if you have problem with light and internet (very important). Plus, you should have a laptop. Now that we have discussed the general idea and cons of each offer. Here is how it's going to be...Just drop a reply below stating the reason(s) why you won't waste my time if I consider you. Try to understand, I didn't say " tell me why I should consider you", cos I believe most of those who will comment on this thread would be worth considering one way or the other. But I don't want people that'll give up halfway, I want people that'll make money and give me Xmas gift in 2018 , and only a brilliant and stubborn hustler can do that. Just drop a reason why I should be very sure you won't waste my time. It might be simple or comprehensive, as you like it. Something like:" Hi Fattkay, I'm into graphics design. I have been doing it for 6months now. I have time enough time..................... Attached below are samples of my graphics works.". Avoid sympathetic reasons like "I'm broke, I need money". As that might be a good reason for me to consider you but doesn't mean you won't waste my time. Sorry if I'm being too selfish by shouting the phrase "Don't Waste My Time" too many times It's not my fault, my 2017 catchphrase is "Life is hard enough, no time for time wasters" So don't blame me. By 2018, I'll change. Thanks for your time. Suggestions are allowed. NOTE: Every discussion concerning this subject should be on this thread ONLY. Please don't call me, na beg I dey beg you. No WhatsApp message, I might not see it. No Nairaland DM, the mail I used to register is dead and I buried it 2yrs ago. If you must reach me through another means apart from this thread (maybe if you don't have a Nairaland account), mail me, just add @gmail.com to Fattkay. SWITCH: I forgot to ask how was your Xmas?? fattbabakay: Hello everyone,
Initially posted that I'll be giving 10k to 10people this xmas but I think I have to shift grounds. Cos I see that 95% of people on this thread just want to GH and some are even coming up with cooked stories, so it's hard to decide.
According to my thought, no matter the amount given to you, you'll finish spending it and if care is not taken, you'll still come back here next year to seek help.
So in that stead, I have decided to help some set of people (interested ones) with what I do. I will be creating blogs for 10 people (I'll help you with everything) and I'll also be creating Fiverr accounts for 10 people (You might have to google what that means).
These are opportunities worth more than money and are bound to give you financial freedom in later days so you can help others, instead of asking for help.
So, this is for extremely serious and not lazy people. If you are really ready to get out of being broke, this might be a good chance. As at this time last year, I couldn't give 10K to 10 people.
I will update on this later, just follow up.
UPDATE: Not now, I'll drop an update later. If necessary, add me on WhatsApp 08149565292. Just say "From Nairaland", nothing more. NOTE: I don't reply fast. |

Jayjezey: it shouldn't be a thing of contest for you to assist people Bro.. if you feel like you're ready to assist, select those who you think you'd wanna assist and just go ahead with it.. just select those who come to your mind as deserving of your help. Asking for people to contest sounds insulting.
And for the record, I too I'm in dire need of assistance, if you can assist me. it'll be much appreciated.. Thanks for your time I didn't really know how the thread operates. On the other hand, here are the TEN SARS Commandments
If you follow these rules, you won't catch a bullet:
ONE - By no means should you look fly, it's a sin. TWO - By no means whould you own any high-end tech product. No iphone, No Mac! Use Nokia and use dell! THREE - Don't rock any bling of any sort, real or fake. FOUR - No fried or dreadlocked hair (maybe no hair?) FIVE - Driving a car is a trap, just take a uber, nah I mean a taxi, nah, danfo SIX - If you get stopped, bow, kneel and offer your phone for inspection SEVEN - You must NOT have huge credit and debit transactions ,delete that shit EIGHT - There must always be "something for your boy(s)". Don't take it for granted. NINE- Do NOT resist arrest when you have "nothing for your boy(s)" And Finally TEN- Don't be a Nigerian
Thanks.

Business › Re: Elance.com, Upwork.com And Other Freelancing Site: How To Succeed Guide. by fattbabakay(m): 9:51am On Nov 30, 2017 |
softwareplus: Here is my testimony on freelancing;
i have always known about freelancing and upwork ever since my university days but never took it seriously or pictured it as a source of income, not until after my NYSC, when reality dawned upon me that i had to irk out a living for myself. Graduating in the buhari era was not funny at all, the recession had kicked in strongly with cost of living on the rise, i spent a lot of jobless months in my fathers house receiving insults from parents who were obviously tired of fending for me, all my efforts to get a job even if it was a menial one proved abortive, frustration slowly kicked in but i had to resist it, either by book or crook i vowed to make a way for myself, even in the midst of the recession people were still progressing, building structures and acquiring exotic properties, i just couldnt take that as an excuse.
Some how i managed to get a laptop and a mifi from a 'God sent' friend with the motive of going into yahoo yahoo or any other fraudulent means of getting money, little did i know that God had another plan all setup for me.
Anyway to cut the long story short, i had a change of mind about the 'yahoo' thing because deep down i knew that wasnt the way out for me. A week later i opened my upwork account and luckily i got approved in no time, (i hear a lot of people complain about how hard it is to get an upwork account, as for me it was a very easy process, maybe because of the niche i applied for)
On Approval of my account, i went ahead to apply for jobs but i got no reply till about 3 days later when my very first client 'James Talton' initiated a conversation with me on one of the jobs i applied for, Being a newbie to the game i felt a bit nervous because that was the very first message i received from a potential client on upwork. We started getting along as he told me all his requirements and how he wanted them met, and i kept giving him polite and direct answers being overtly careful not to say anything that would deter me from winning his heart and landing the job, Just after a few minutes of conversation i saw an offer request pop up on the conversation screen, i was actually numb for a few seconds because the whole experience was new to me and i didnt know exactly what to do and how to do it, i just applied common sense (that i believe every learned person should have), read the terms and accepted the offer.
That was how i landed my first job on upwork, it was a $60 fixed price job, not an easy one though but i had to do everything possible to leave my newly found client smiling. it took me about four days to get the job done exactly as the client stated,i was given a week deadline so i still had reasonable time on my side but my urge to satisfy the client by finishing the work in lesser time couldn't stop me from submitting immediately and request approval of my very first milestone.
All this while i kept wondering how the money would get to me. i read about all the payment methods available then i opted for the direct to my local bank option(which i used my zenith bank account). i requested for my first withdrawal immediately after the four days it takes for the funds to appear on your timeline. i read all the instructions and did everything just exactly how i was instructed then waited for a miracle to happen.
To my amazement i received an SMS alert on my phone of the exact naira equivalent of the withdrawal i requested for in less than 10minutes. YES believe me when i say 10 minutes because thats exactly what happened, i was so amazed, the whole experience was so new to me. one unique thing about my upwork experience was that i never seeked enquiries from anybody. it was all an experiment i did all by myself.
From then on, i kept submitting job proposals tirelessly and landing jobs (no matter how small) till the day i met my very surest client (names withheld) and ever since then i have been smiling to the bank constantly. Some timid neighbors be thinking i'm a yahoo boy, i feel so sorry for them.
As of today 21st of november 2017, after 7 months of constant freelancing (since may), i can proudly boast that i have made millions from freelancing and the good thing is that the recession has been an advantage to freelancers this buhari era due to the high exchange rate, I make all my withdrawals at N332.143 per dollar. Presently i was hired by a Construction company in New york and i have been in charge of all their major estimating works since September.
I cant keep hiding this secret from my fellow Nigerians out there because it is too good to be true (anyway it is for those whom it may concern). Now i earn more and work at my own pace without having to answer 'sir' or 'ma' to anybody. isnt that cool?
Just yesterday i became TOP RATED on upwork and i feel so proud to have achieved such heights before the year ends, it took a lot of hard work and dedication, i had to deny myself of so many frivolities, when some of my friends were out partying i'll be in the house working for my clients.
At the moment, i am happy to say that i have moved out of my fathers house to an apartment of my own, own a cool ride, taking care of my girlfriend and our kid, with intentions of getting married next year. 2017 was a good year for me indeed, i dont intend to quit freelancing any time soon because it is my full time job. i keep wondering which job will pay me at least $1500 monthly (with the current exchange rate) if not an oil company job.
My Advice to upcoming freelancers Coming soon. Boss, you inspire me like speedy inspires diddy! |
Celebrities › Weekend Delight For Subscribers As Glo Offers Cars, Ovens, Mifis And More... by fattbabakay(op): 8:40pm On Nov 04, 2017 |
The daily delight for subscribers on the Glo network continues this weekend as they stand a chance to win the thousands of mouthwatering prizes offered by the telecom giant in its customer-appreciation scheme, Everyday Bonanza.
The prizes include brand new cars, Flat Screen LED TV sets, 4G-LTE phones, generators, refrigerators, Microwave ovens and 4G-LTE MiFis which will be won every day from Monday to Sunday throughout the duration of the offer.
Today, Saturday, 650 subscribers will win 4G-LTE MiFis, with a total of 9,100 winners in total. The icing on the cake is the brand new Hyundai Accent car which will be won this Sunday by a lucky Glo subscriber. 17 of the cars are being offered by Globacom in the promo which will run throughout the Yuletide period.
Explaining the details of the offerings, Globacom said 50 lucky Glo subscribers will win Television sets every Monday (750 TV sets in total), 150 subscribers will win 4G-LTE smartphones every Tuesday (2250 in total), 100 subscribers will win generating sets every Wednesday (1,400 in total), 100 subscribers will take home refrigerators every Thursday (1,400 total), 200 winners of Microwave ovens every Friday (2,800 total), while 650 subscribers will walk home with 4G-LTE MiFis on Saturdays (9,100 total).
Globacom will be giving out a brand new Hyundai Accent to a lucky subscriber every Sunday, making a total of 17 car winners.
According to Globacom, all a subscriber needs to do to qualify for these life-impacting prizes is to recharge his or her phone with at least N100 worth of credit. Each N100 credit purchased entitles a subscriber to an entry. In essence, a subscriber who recharges his or her phone with N1000 credit automatically gets 10 entries.
Post-paid customers are not left out. Every N100 usage on their line qualifies as an entry to the daily draw. Furthermore, purchase of eTop-up, SIMs and data products from any Gloworld outlet will give the subscriber additional entries into the daily draws.
“So the more recharge a subscriber makes, the more entries he gets and consequently the greater the chance to win quality gifts everyday!” Globacom said.

Business › Social Media Marketing On FIVERR – The Ultimate Guide - FATTKAY by fattbabakay(op): 2:28pm On Oct 20, 2017 |
Subsequent to the success of my previous material on Email Marketing on Fiverr, I thought to myself, how about teaching people another niche? And here you have it, Social Media Marketing on Fiverr. https://fiverrsocial.hustle.ng/img/3d.pngHere is a quick story…James is a young dude that stays in the south-western part of Nigeria. James was a broke fellow, he had no bright source of income in his late 20’s. James tried Ponzi Scheme, he made some money until MMM taught him the lesson of his life. As a determined fellow, James didn’t stop there, he pumped in some more funds into importation business. Unfortunately, the unstable dollar rates shattered his importation dreams! Above all, he hardly got customers, pathetic! He pushed further to give these internet hustles some more attempts, unfortunately, the overhyped blogging and affiliate marketing didn’t come out as easy as they told him they were. James wanted to give up! Then James thought your best option was Yahoo Yahoo internet fraud. He started, but he was not catching preys. He sought the elders and the baba told him to go get the head of an elephant to plus the hustle, he just could not! These harsh realities have shattered Jame’s dreams of making some cool income from the four corners of his lonely enclosure. At that point … James was scared, tired and frustrated because all the so-called ‘popular‘ digital hustles they are making noise about have failed him completely. James knew that he could make money online, but how? James asked me. I said, “James, do you know Fiverr?” He said NO. Okay, Fiverr is a marketplace where you can offer digital skills to clients who are in need of them and get paid for it. On this platform, you can offer tasks and services, beginning at a cost of $5 per job performed, from which it got its name. The platform is primarily used by freelancers to offer services to customers worldwide. James said, “But I don’t have any digital skill”… I said, “James, I got you. Take my Social Media Marketing guide. This material will teach you the tricks you need to know about Social Media Marketing and how you can leverage the knowledge to offer services and make money on Fiverr“. James took the guide and digested it attentively…Fast forward some few months later, James is in Dubai on honeymoon. James and bae are waking up to ocean views, all with the money he made off this great revelation. How well would you love to be better than James? There is only one catch… Click the link below to change your story forever.PROCEED TO THE REVELATION PAGE…Heads Up - This is not a Make-Money-Quick guide. And it is not free. For further info.
