Romance › Re: Additional Things Ladies Can Do To Cement Your Relationship by Favolly(f): 2:51pm On Jun 26, 2016 |
Mzflexydeeva: Keeping a relationship or even a marriage isn't an easy job. A lot of people think it's all about sex but also remember the friendship is the major factor people remain together after emotions have brought them together. Gone are those days when a man will chase you, pet you so you don't leave and still find ways to keep you interested daily. You must understand that as a man needs a woman so does she need him too. Apart from the regular respect him, feed him and satisfy him in bed, here are a few things that cols also help you keep your relationship with the opposite sex glowing like the 1st day.
1. Watch football.... It is no longer news that guys love football though not all of them but a large majority do. There is only a fraction of females who can understand what guys love about football but trust me one way to cement your relationship more whether while dating or in marriage is to take interest in some of the things your partner love. If you can enjoy football just for him, be able to talk about it with him, you would find out you give your relationship a better chance of striving. As the fact you have gone out of your way to pick interest in his like would help him see you in a different light. I dont quite agree with this point. You musn't lose yourself for the sake of any relationship. If you are not into watching football, I see no reason why you have to. Surely, there are other interesting things the both of you like that y'all can do together without you having to pretend that you enjoy it. No man will sit down and watch telemundo or zee world with his wife or girlfriend in order to cement the relationship even if she insists on it. And if you find that your relationship isn't 'striving' because you're not watching football with him, then I'm sure you know what to do. |

Culture › Re: Women Want To Be Men, We Can’t Be Equal – Ooni Of Ife’s Wife by Favolly(f): 3:19pm On Jun 18, 2016 |
There are people who disagree with the term "gender equality" and then go on to present their reasons in an intelligent way, but this one is just so shallow. Why is gender in Nigeria always discussed within the context of marriage? Is that all there is to life? “Relationships today are ending because women want to be men...” Auntie, you're really one to talk about broken relationships. Were you not married three times before you married the Ooni? Typical Nigerian woman! Get married, put on a cloak of self - righteousness and judge others for the same things you used to do. Please stick to being an appendage of a custodian of culture and tradition and leave public speaking alone. It's the people that gave her microphone I blame sef. What was her qualification to give the speech? If I ran into this lady at the airport, I’d probably chat her up about the most recent Yoruba movies I saw on YouTube, definitely not world issues… What next ? She’s going to share her opinion on climate change? Girl bye! |

Ishilove can explain better.
So tell me why Royalty shouldn't have advisers? You don't have to play defense, Ivy has had my support from the beginning... I'm allowed to voice my opinion still, and I think there are some grey areas here that the organizers may have unintentionally created by not spelling out what the contestants should or should not do when answering interview questions. I think she was lucky that this wasn't an 'official' interview question though |
Romance › Re: Seun Do You Now Support Plagiarism? by Favolly(f): 11:41am On Jun 16, 2016 |
JeffreyJamez: lol this is funny @bold Lol! The 'adviser' part cracked me up too. Like what's the point of granting an interview, when you know you'll be replying with 'advised' answers? How do we even separate your own opinions - which is what we're actually interested in - from what was 'advised'? Maybe the organizers should have issued some interview guidelines?? |
Romance › Re: An Interview With Ivvy, Lanicky And ChubbyT by Favolly(f): 7:39pm On Jun 15, 2016 |
joseph1832: Cc Ivyy, Lanicky ChubbyT [/i]Tosyne I believe you asking these women to put their self into the place of men is greatly flawed, a woman can not be a man, neither can a man be woman, no matter the experiment or medical transformation one undergoes.
It reeks of you trying to promote something I hesitate to mention. Lol! I personally thought the question was weird when I saw it. But you've gotta admit it makes you wonder why it's like that though.. So my husband confesses on our wedding night that he's not really a virgin, that he actually had sex before we got together.. Ehen? Does it make any difference still? It's not like there would have been hymen or anything else to prove the virginity Me I honestly wouldn't even bother to pretend to be angry. I would be like, 'Ogbeni, just enter me and let's move on jare' But a man would mostly likely not react the same way, and it's just somehow to be asking a sisteh that kind of question But then again, just maybe the question wasn't really supposed to be that deep. Maybe.. |

armadeo: Dude. Sorry about your loss. I completely understand how You feel.
Medical personnel don't understand that people who come to you comemfoe help and they are lackadaisical when it comes to doing thier JOBS!!
I feel sad whenever I read such, in my experience many are guilty fromnDrs to nurses to every other staff.
Let me say an experience I had that till shocks me till date. ( I am a doctor).
We had a patient who bled a lot following a surgery and was rushed back some days adyer discharge after he collapsed. I was rushing and grabbing everything in reach to resuscitate this man while doing all this the junior Dr attached to me told me it was after 4 that traffic would build up to her house that she wanted to know how long we would stay.
Believe me I was shocked into complete paralysis. I looked at the man I was managing thinking maybe I was hallucinating the entire episode and a gasping man wasn't under my hands. But There he was.
I ensured the severest punishment for her attitude was given to her ( not complete disqualification) but even my HOD who had never heard my voice above a certain pitch heard me scream when I was reporting the case.
I asked for her dismissal but was said to be too angry on that issue. Well the man survived. I know what I went through, how many times I ran from home to the hospital at night because of him, because that is what I am paid to do.
I think it a thing of pride were patients ask to see me personally just because of the attention I give to them. I am not blowing my trumpet. Just today alone I have gotten 3 bottles of wine and a package which contains imported tomatoes and other stuff from walk in patients.
This is what I live for.
We need to know why we are doing what we do. I always assume my patient to be my relative, some can be annoying but nobody goes to a mechanic to check a well functioning car. You're a doctor? Wow! |
