Does that not bother you, that the number 3rd citizen of your country is relying on third party information over a sensitive national issue. LG allocations are meant to develop the grassroots, develop the local markets, Primary Health care system, construct local street roads, support the Primary Education systems but once it's stolen, all these local basic amenities suffer.. as we can all see across the country.. Government Primary Schools and PHCs are endangered..

There were times in this country when Local Governments had Agric Depts, with tractors and other heavy agric machines. They are all pipe-dreams today. What happened to the times when LGs run Primary Health Systems very effectively where a pregnant woman can be safely delivered at Primary Health Care centres in the LG... when some of us went to public Primary schools with dedicated teachers in the 90's, and we heard they were even better in the 80's..

All the governors have perfected a system where they plant their stooges as LG administrators or in few cases Chairmen, who report and take directives from the Auditor General of Local Government. The chairmen are paid like civil servants, the rest of the LG funds is at the governor's discretion..
