I am currently in Australia as a Citizen through study pathway. Getting admission into Nursing in Australia may be challenging as they prefer onshore candidates. What I have seen people do is to get to Australia through the easiest possible admission and then switch. However, you may lose some of the tuition paid especially if you are switching to another school. It's recommended that you apply for a course on the occupation list in case you find it impossible to switch, say the Agriculture.

Hello boss,
So I've talked to about 3 agents now as regards applying for Msc Agriculture but they're advising me still to go for management course or MBA.
1.Please are there unis probably in SA, Victoria or NSW that I can apply to for Feb 2023 admission ?
2. If it happens that I applied to study MBA/mgt course will it be easy to switch to msc Agriculture later on

Thank you all

It depends on your choice but the main thing is you included them when applying for your student's visa.

Please do you have any agent that you can recommend for me

Hello family,
If I'm applying for studying visa in Australia, is it possible for my spouse and children to leave for Australia at the same time? Or will they come to join me later after some time?
I'm getting conflicting information about this.

Thanks for your response.

Please if I may ask, if I applied for msc Agriculture will it be easy considering it's been 12yrs I graduated from the uni cause the agents I spoke to were telling me that the gap is really wide so they're skeptical.

Also, if I'm able to get admission for msc Agriculture, will it be possible to switch to nursing bsc later on

Hello everyone,
Please I need advice

I have BSc in Agriculture and graduated about 12 years ago. I've worked for some years in our family farm and presently I'm working with a pharmaceutical company.

So I'm thinking of applying to switch my course to study BSc Nursing in Australia. I've emailed some unis in Victoria and was told they can give me admission despite not being a fresh graduate.

One of the schools I emailed suggested I apply through their agents in Nigeria but after speaking to their agents I'm totally confused as they claim it's not possible to apply to study since I don't have experience in nursing, gap between my previous study is wide and age isn't on my side as I'm in my mid-thirties.
She later suggested management course, business or they can try msc Agriculture but can't assure me of 100%.

I know for a fact masters in management or business isn't a good pathway.

Please What do you recommend I do ?

1. attestation is not required. check vetassess website for requirements regarding transcripts and certificates.
2. Yes.

For some places where he worked we can't find the payslips, can we get bank statement to back it up or which other documents can we tender instead of payslip.
Thanks for your time always

If you are assessing as a manager, previous non-managerial roles are not added to your experience calculation.
In that case, a 4 year course won't fly. The master has to be added, although I don'yt know what the outcome will be.
Please check IML website for their assessment requirement. It's been a while someone I know assess with IML

Thanks for your response: we'll be going with VETASSESS then.
Please I want to know if there's need to attest the certificates/documents to be used for the VETASSESS assessment?
Then as regards letters of employment, do we have to provide payslips for all the places my husband has worked?

Since pharmacology is more than 4 years, your spouse should be able to assess with Vetassess without the masters.
For IML, he has to be reporting directly to the CEO and 4 years is too small for a S&M manager with IML

Thanks for your prompt response and your time in guiding us.
Pharmacology at OSU is a 4year course, can he still assess with VETASSESS do we need to include the MBA for the assessment?
For the IML,he reports directly to the CEO of the company and he has a total of 9years plus working experience but 4.5years as a manager. Will this total working experience count for him if he were to apply via IML?
