As for me Honestly, I will love to choose $300 groceries per month for life, all my earnings will be invested elsewhere and I can do whatever I like therafter. A Yoruba proverb says if hunger is excluded from poverty then poverty is doomed/conquered. (Bi ebi ba kuro ninu ise, abuse buse). Till the old age, my feeding is guaranteed, all I need to do is to walk majestically to the grocery store to get all my food stuffs and mind you, it's tax free for the entire household.......... ![]() what about you?

The reported death of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade, took another dimension on Wednesday with the claim by the town’s traditional council that the monarch is alive. The foremost traditional ruler was said to have died in a United Kingdom hospital Tuesday night. Reports said Ooni died of an undisclosed ailment at Saint Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London. But the Ife Royal Traditional Council said at a press conference on Wednesday that the monarch’s death was “a mere rumour.” The Lowa of Ifeland, Joseph Ijaodola, who spoke in Yoruba, said the report about the monarch’s death in a London Hospital was “untrue.” The Secretary, Royal Traditional Council of Ife, the Ladin of Ife, High Chief Adetoye Odewole, confirmed that the monarch is hale and hearty, saying he spoke to the chiefs on phone few hours earlier. “They did it in 1984, also in 2004 and now, these people are coming up with another rumour. Oba Sijuade remains in sound state of health,” Odewole added. |

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) through its intensified and persistent efforts in the ongoing fight against Boko Haram Terrorists (BHT) has intercepted over 4,000 drums and jerry cans of petroleum products and other smuggled items. The items, suspected to be supplies meant for BHT, were confiscated from the smugglers in Pepe, Dashin-Hausa, Belel Bilachi, and Konkul villages located along the Nigeria-Cameroon Borders on Tuesday, 28 July 2015. The NAF was able to achieve the recent feat through its air patrol activities, covering both land and water, along the Nigeria-Cameroon boarders. The NAF has continued to identify and destroy BHT camps and resupplies by employing surveillance and combat aircraft. Intelligence gathered revealed that these efforts have greatly strained the supply efforts of the BHT.
