Travel / Read These Tips Before Traveling To Dubai by FawaSunday2929(m): 6:40pm On Apr 23, 2021
*READ THIS TIPS BEFORE TRAVELING TO DUBAI (UAE)*

Attestation is different from international certification ! Getting to UAE, if u have cash u can quickly go for courses like NEBOSH, SIRA, Microsoft Certification, UAE drivers license accepted in about 60 countries including the EU.

Presently in the gulf nations including Qatar, Kuwait, UAE etc No NEBOSH certified staff gets less than 350k monthly! NEBOSH is an internationally certified health and safety certificate! Sadly, the Gulf region employers value it more than your Nigerian Bsc!

SiRA has to do with security with you majoring in a particular field like CCTV, General safety etc At least they still employ Africans as security guards for hotels, buildings etc and most security firms provide accommodations though with up to 4-10 per room

To get Driving license in the UAE now is quite expensive with amount ranging from 500k naira to up to 1.5m naira valid for 2yrs and on renewal 5years! Over 90% of supervisory jobs vacancies requires you to have a UAE drivers license !with it you can apply for delivery jobs as well with minimum of 300k naira monthly salary.

Same goes for other internationally certified stuffs like MS certification, certifications in Warehousing, Logistics etc sadly a lot of us wanna jump to UAE without even skills and then end up frustrated after barely 3 months with jobs like construction, car washing etc with a salary of about 100k with or without accommodation thereby wasting at least 500k naira or more spent in travelling to the UAE. To return back to naija is even more problematic because after 90days May have elapsed, a daily overstay fine of 13k naira will begin to accumulate on your visa!

If you don’t have cash to build yourself up and acquire these internationally certified certificates, then please and please try to acquire basic skills like AC/ central Cooling system as there’s hardly no house without an AC!
Also be skilled in plumbing (not cut and nail ooo), carpentry(especially kitchen cabinet) and general house wiring/industrial electrical wiring! By Gods grace, even as a Nigerian you are sure to have a job before the expiration of your 90days visa.

Lest I forget, AVOID STAYING IN A NASTY ENVIRONMENT WITH NASTY PEOPLE like those who sells alcohol and does other shit because if cut though you are innocent, they WILL arrest and detain everyone in that flat and MAY end up in Murtala Mohammed Airport depending on the Emirate(State) where the crime was carried out!
So in this regard your agent has to play major role as regards you accommodation but sadly so many so call agents don’t even have international passport!

A lot of other things/advise to share but for space and time. I put it out here for those with genuine intention of coming to work hard for themselves as I cannot be inboxing individuals.
Please note that am not an AGENT! That is not to say that all agents are bad or evil! Only Shine your eyes very well!

Agents, I beg you in the name of God let’s tell our people the honest truth as it pays to be honest! Fr instance I have seen someone who paid 1.35m naira to am agent for a 90days visa and ticket! This is not smartness at all judging by the current state of Nigeria where hardship and poverty is so pronounced everywhere! Let’s try to help each other. A job of 600k and u make extra 100/200k that’s fair enough not a thing of 600k you end up collecting 1.3m that’s more than times two profit, haba. Do unto others what you want done to you, afterall we came to planet earth empty and no one is going back with even a pin? Think about it!

Finally, thanks for finding time to read and digest what I tried to explain here. Thanks and God bless u! Wishing you a successful stay in the UAE
Don't be deceived by any agent, life in Dubai isn't Easy
