Latest development so far is that no accommodation.

Please, Tomilayo Esan (Dean of TS) ma'am in your humble office I and other candidates do plead that FBN considers the no accommodation stand, we have planned with accommodation all this while and this move would be hard hitting on us.

We know accommodation is not our right but a privilege but please as future staff of the bank please consider our plea. Lots of us are coming from far locations, some of us don't even know anyone in Lagos.

Even if we have to pay for accommodation on TS ground, or even if you guys take it out of our stipend, please any option you guys come up with would be accepted.

I know the dean of TS reads this thread, please consider us.

God should just help me to stop ranting. First bank, please we don't know your reason but kindly consider this whole accommodation issue. I know someone(staff) is seeing this. Even if we have to feed ourselves or pay rent in your facilities, I don't mind. But, this news has drained me. Let me just sleep and wake up tomorrow and reread the mail. Maybe, something will change.

This is totally unfair. After being made to wait this long, we get to hear 'no accommodation ' without any reason. So, in one week, I should make accommodation preparations for 3 months in a place I've never been to in my life. Kudos FBN. God de.

It is genuine. Someone in training school already made an inquiry and was told there will be two more batches, one batch will be invited in two weeks time, the other batch will be invited in three weeks time but there is NO ACCOMMODATION .

You were rescheduled to Abuja? What venue? I have a friend in Abuja who was sent to Lagos. Kindly let me know the reschedule process. Thanks.

Go and check DPR recruitment thread. 533 pages and counting. The tension there is worse(as an active participant . ) Unless you mean for First Bank recruitment.
It will end well.

The last batch of TS for the last recruitment exercise was in 2015. It took 2 years to complete that exercise (2013-2015). This one started in 2016 and this is 2018 already. The wait is almost over guys.



PS. This has been the longest thread so far in the history of recruitment threads, subsequent GT applicants just need to open (consult) this thread for all the answers they might need.

2sorzy1,this your feeling MIGHT be true,since the last AC was not all done in Lagos,it is also possible that the TS may not all hold in Lagos.It is possible FBN MIGHT be considering other locations.

As ridiculous as this may sound, a top source just made a bold claim that contacts would be made this week. According to him, the just concluded BBN was one of the major reasons for the delay.

In his exact words, "some of our ogas were so addicted to this BBN that they kept procastinating the whole thing..."

He sounded very positive about this week guys.

You know there is this school of thought which argues that the perceived delay is a tactic employed by DPR and some powers that be, to ensure that by the time they send out invites for APL, and subsequently medicals, a fair percentage of successful candidates would be droped on medical grounds (BP related issues), so as to pave way for some annointed candidates

I beg to differ. I applied for DPR and FBN the same period. I just did my interview in Feb and medicals last week for FBN. So I've been having double high blood pressure since 2016.

The highest a Bank can keep you waiting is for 6 months (this includes aptitude test till resumption of work).

I have the same issue too. I just need to be sure of TS date before I pay.

While some are thinking of when to drop resignation letter, I am waiting for TS date so I'll know whether I should pay for my ICAN exams or not. I don't want to pay and end up not writing. The condition is even affecting my reading. I'll just watch and keep reading.

I hope TS can accommodate this batch at once. Nobody should be made to wait another 3 months. It's sickening. But what do I know?? Just hoping.

From 26th to 27th.....28,29,30,31, ........ Infinity. Hope people won't use their salaries to treat high blood pressure caused by Dpr and speculators. God preserve us all.

When all this is over, there are some people that should be flogged on this platform. The tension here is worse than the one DPR is giving.
