You can apply as soon as you've been issued CAS.
I have an unconditional offer from Essex and I've paid my deposit.

Note that they'd only issue CAS 3 Months to your course start date. (see attachment)

Let's link up and share ideas.

Good morning. Pls what's the payment plan? I'm presently applying

I can’t be the only one that Nigeria is happening to. Because of NASU strike, transcript that I’ve requested from OOU since January has not been delivered..
See one of the reasons why we are all fleeing from this funny country…
I’ve received conditional offers for September, and it’s just transcript they’re requesting for. I’m really frustrated, sad and angry.

I wonder if there are universities that give unconditional offers without requesting transcript.

It is well

Talk to someone who works at exams and records. Or a nasu admin officer. You will likely pay double. But twill be done. There's always a back door

Tell him to Google scrum dot org scrum master certification. Read the scrum guide inside out, use the practice test on the website and ensure to score 100% in three consecutive tries before paying to do the real test. It may not be easy to become a scrum master with accounting background (may be easier to go into Non-tech BA), but he should give it a try and follow loads of scrum masters on LinkedIn to imitate their journeys.

Product manager? It’s the highest level lol, you didn’t even start with product owner that’s less complicated- I like your dreams and wish you well (nothing beyond God).

I hope you get the hint and start with Product owner wink (repeat the steps above).

Thank you very much... Seen the link.

Actually there are product owners/product manager courses. That's the name the courses I know of are tagged. Doing one on udemy presently.

I promised to give pointers about tech occupations. Of course there are the core tech occupations like infrastructure manager, network architects, technical architects, developers (either front or backend), automation testing or even some data professions (these require sql, python, r and some familiarity with tableau, power bi, etc). As for manual testing, if you have experience with software and/or UX experience, you may easily become a manual tester (pays well).

I am not a pro in the above so I will leave it to the professionals to speak of. Out of all the above tech occupations, the easiest and most pragmatic to get into would be security manager (which requires little to no code, as your infrastructure staff would do the needed to help you) but security requires vast experience in the tech industry (that’s why I pity people with no experience reading cyber security).
Anyway the good news is, there are some professions that you can crack easily, these are:

Scrum master-- if you are a manager, cheerleader and teacher, you can do a scrum master course on scrum.org, watch looooads of scrum or agile videos on YT and go on some other agile courses to become a scrum master—m but prepare to start as a junior if you have never had the role before.

Product owner-- again read up about it, make sure you do your certification on scrum.org, then whatever industry you apply to, make sure it is an industry you have worked in very well because POs always need the experience to make good decisions.

Delivery manager—if you have worked as a Project manager before, just learn about agile (again scrum.org and many agile videos, change your mindset (no more controlled environment, you philosophy must be to fail fast) and then you can convert your title to DM- they pay well.
Business analyst, these are pretty popular, just make sure you have some certs and you have experience in the industry you want to work in. You can learn about BA in BCS or IIBA- pays well.

Product manager-- my favourite, well just be experienced in the product and have good enough experience in being a BA, DM or PO. You must be familiar with agile and product development life cycle.

Take these jobs, go on indeed, look up the jobs, then try and acquired whatever skill the jobs require within the next 4 months. Tune your cv to reflect the job spec, practice well so you have speak eloquently during your interview. You can also convert your job as an accountant, finance analyst etc to the above jobs, but you have to be smart about it.

Good day everyone. I'm applying for student visa next year. So I've been reading this thread from scratch. Thanks for all y'all are doing.

Pls my uncle and his wife just got sponsored to the UK. His wife is a nurse. She'll be going first. He is an accountant but want to move into being a scrum master. I am also interested in product management.

Can anyone point us to the best courses to do that are UK accepted. We have a lot here but I'll hate for us to do it and then it would be useless for what we need it for. So pls maybe drop links to certified courses u know ppl have done and scaled into these roles in the UK with. Thank you.

Should she consider project management or management courses or what?

Good day Everyone,

pls, I need all the required information about Belgium student visa procedure as I just got admission at university of Antwerp for my masters degree and I need the right steps and necessary informations

thanks
Travel / Re: Anyone Studying In Belgium? by Fayzdream: 3:45am On Jan 03, 2022
Okay, so what I understand so far is my school would send a copy of my transcript and certificate to the school I'm applying to for admission.

Then I'm to collect original transcript and certificate from school also. Photocopy them.
And then take them to Ministry of education and ministry of foreign affairs then embassy for legalization.

So am I to legalize my originals at the same time? Or leave it till later? Also, if my school has already sent them my transcript and certificate why then do I need to go legalize photocopies for admission? I'm really confused.

Can someone explain this certificate sendimg amd legalizimg process step by step without jumping a step? Please?

fikki1:

This is what i did during mine, though it was expensive.
I submitted all copy of my credentials to MOE and MOFA for legalisation ( not original) so it was easy for the embassy to legalise it seeing the seal of MOFA and MOE. During visa application, i legalised the original documents.

If you have certified by a court, i dont not know if the embassy will recognise it, but above all, if u certified by court and MOFA legalised it, I THINK YOU ARE GOOD, BUT IF MOFA REJECTS IT, then i think you need to use MOE.

To be candid, no school will put a seal on a photocopy of credential when they have already issued a certificate of same. I stand to be corrected though.

Bro i advice you spend more to get better result dan to spend less n in turn you spend double.

For Admission,
Make photocopy of your sealed original certificate(s)from school, take it to MOE and MOFA den take it to EMBASSY.

For visa,
legalise all your original certificates, make photocopy front and back and submit like dat

N:B
This was what i did.

I hope i have answered your question bro

Thanks

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Avoid All Job Offers From Econnect Np Ltd by Fayzdream: 10:53am On Nov 17, 2021
Youdoncast:
This should have been written a long time ago to save other prospective employees of eConnect NP Ltd from the doom that awaits them upon their acceptance of job offers from the Chairman (Segun Alabi) of eConnect NP Ltd.

The offer would seem rosy when Segun Alabi wows you with his marketing and lying skills of his new invention (I wouldn't give him the benefit of stating the nonsense app here for advert) and promise you fictitious salary which he cannot pay because he can't even pay for the food he ordered from his relative.

eConnect NP Ltd office is so awful that the owner doesn't seem it fit to provide staff with water dispenser and toiletries as he would tell them he's not their father if they brought up the issue of drinking water and toiletries.

Chairman (Segun Alabi) of eConnect NP Ltd makes sure that he doesn't pay you your full salary at the end of the month by belittling your effort to justify his cheap nature and consequently form vexing so you can't question him.

eConnect NP Ltd loves to bring the best employee in their field to feed them dung and consequently use them to better its apps before they leave due to the Chairman bullying and oppressive nature.

You are advised to avoid eConnect NP Ltd as an employee if you don't want your self esteem destroyed and salaries half paid every month.

DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING SEGUN ALABI SAYS AS HE IS CHEAP AND LACKS INTEGRITY.

AVOID eCONNECT NP LTD.

Heard of this.... You've told no lie!!!

Your work experience and ECA are two different things.
ECA acknowledges that your education in Nigeria is equal to that of canada
Work experience - you have to prove that the experience you are claiming is valid. For example; you say you have 3 years experience in HR, your reference letter should validate that claim.
I hope this helps.

Thank you. It does. Thank you.

Evening house, has anyone here evaluated Msc from Rome Business School in Nigeria. Was it positively evaluated by WES as equivalent to a masters

Good afternoon please.
I studied English Education (B.ed). I'm about to start CIPM exams. My work experience is in HR and I am applying under human resource professional. Do you think if I assess my bsc and cipm my work experience before dping CIPM will still be acknowledged? Or they would not count it for me due to my B.ed being unrelated to human resource?

Has anyone flown KLM to and from Nigeria recently? What's your experience like?

I want to fly on KLM from Canada to Nigeria for a short trip.

Sorry please I saw your post about your friend with bsc and cipm. I'm about to write cipm too but I have my bsc in English education. My fear is that my work experience might not be approved by WES. Since its HR work before my hr certification.

Or does my english education bsc work for hr relayed field under WES assesment?

My aim is to start cipm asap nd apply for evaluation immediately I'm done with the modules.
