CareerRe: Are Foreign Graduates That Much Better Than Nigerian Graduates by fbajomo(op): 12:43pm On Jul 16, 2008
HND and BSC or masters are not the same degree, to use HND as a basis you will have to compare with a graduate from abroad who has an HND as well,
CareerRe: Are Foreign Graduates That Much Better Than Nigerian Graduates by fbajomo(op): 12:04pm On Jul 16, 2008
What I was actually trying to analyse here was the great disparity in salary or pay incomes, even though a nigerian graduate can be identified as capable of doing the job he will be offered an erstwhile lower salary than if it was offered to a foreign graduate,

the foreign schools are not being compared with the Local schools. That is not the argument

The point is a position should have a certain amount of salary attributed to it, irrespective of who is capable of doing the job, Nigerian graduate or foreign graduate, if a nigerian graduate os offered the job then why is he offered a lower salary than his foreign counterpart, I mean he must have deminstrated the skills required during the interview process and hence he fits the position sought
CareerAre Foreign Graduates That Much Better Than Nigerian Graduates by fbajomo(op): 11:33am On Jul 16, 2008
This topic has been created to look at the common trend of employing Nigerians who attended foreign institutions such as in the UK, USA France and others and offering them attractive pay packages when compared to what is being offered Graduates from the Local institutions such as UNILAG, UNIBEN, OAU.

Is the quality of graduates being produced by foreign institutions that much better than what you have in Nigeria so much so there will be a disparity in the salary being offered.

is there any justification for this, someone who attended LSE (London school of economics) is he that much better than the UNILAG graduate, or is there more than meets the eye and this is just another example of  colonial mentality

The Local graduates are recently becoming disillusionedwith this scenario and have voiced their opinions as such,

what do you guys think, please all views are welcome.

@Ziddy

Kola Bajomo is not a thief, He was a former president of ICAN and he is one of the founding investors of Tripple Gee and has worked as a director in Union Bank . His pedigree is impeccable and does not have any roguish qualities in him,.

and besides, was Nnamani not a rookie senator!!!!

Do you guys think Omisore will be the next senate President??
PoliticsRe: The Next Senate President! by fbajomo: 12:14pm On Apr 28, 2007
it does not matter where the next senate president comes from as long as he is just , fair and knows how to do the job, all we want I presume is someone who will be able to help push the country forward, all this he said she said about zoning here and there is nonsense, just let us hope someone who is credible and able is put in the position

RomanceRe: Can You Fart In The Presence Of Your Lover? by fbajomo: 10:32pm On Apr 19, 2007
Farting in front of your wife or Husband I don't think is an issue at all, it means you are exremely comfortable with one another and have transcended the akwardness in a relationship, it is more like it when there is an akward silence between a couple during conversation, it matters if you just met as you would think you are a bore and it does no matter when you know each other very well, as it might go unnoticed then, it depends on what level the relationship is at

This is the same as farting, we all do it, even if its in secret , doing it in front of your wife or husband should not really be frowned upon, it is more or less a sign of feeling at ease with one another ,

Taking a dump in front of your spouse though, that definitely is taking it too far!!!!!!!

@iice

why am I not surprised, typical Nigerian girl for you, comes to a forum, hijacks a topic, does not contribute anything constructive, and tries to prove some sort of superior intellect whilst all the time she is mouthing of nonsense, you are constructive , in your narrow-minded, dim-witted, slow-paced way, oops, Guess I said too much, hope you fast paced enough to understand all that,

Dating And Meet-up ZoneRe: Most Lagos Girls Are Ugly Why? by fbajomo: 3:19pm On Apr 04, 2007
then what exactly are you saying huhhuh if you are chastising him for what he said then that means you do not agree with what he has to say, you were all mouthing off daggers in his directions just now, and you are now telling me some, he said , she said, abeg jo,

it is something we all do, live with it, the bone of contention is that he said it about women, and you being a woman naturally got defensive, that's all, and started attacking him without justification

did you guys not say who is he to say someone is ugly, why can't he, the word ugly was coined by someone and it is in the dictionary and should be used, why can he not use it, I bet if he said Nigerian men are ugly, you would not have responded, it is just because he mentioned women,

for starters, prove him wrong and post your pic, that will be a start
Dating And Meet-up ZoneRe: Most Lagos Girls Are Ugly Why? by fbajomo: 2:21pm On Apr 04, 2007
take it easy on the guy, all he said was that in his encounters most of the girls or ladies he has me t were not pretty on the face, he did not say all, does he not have a right to assess the physical attributes of those he has met, by the way he did not say all he said most, why take it personal.

I know we alll give in to the old cliche that beauty is not everything, it is not but when you meet peoplethe first attribute you know and see about them is physical, let us not deny it, character and behaviour come later when you speak to them,

Ladies you are the worst when it comes to this, you judge men on appearance, am not saying it is bad, but then you should not slate someone else who does, I like pretty girls and am certainly not attracted to ugly ones myself, am not saying an ugly girl's character is not important but if i met a good looking babe with a wonderful sense of humor and lovely character then I will take my chances woth her instead,

one way or the other we judge people initially on physical attributes, evryone does it, if not most of us will be going out with Lepers, beggars, and crippes, they pray for you they praise you and they seem nice, so how come none of you are married to one,

it is human to seek good genes for our children, if you deny that you have not or don't assess people on physical xteristic, then I think younlie and going through self deception,

but for what its worth the guy just spoke his mind, live and let live , everyone is entitled to his or her prerogative, if not then you are just a narrow minded individual
BusinessRe: Mtn And Glo Which Of These Companies Is The Best by fbajomo: 4:41pm On Apr 03, 2007
based on Market share, turnover and profits then it is MTN, GLO does have the potential to be extremely competitive as they aslo have a national carrier licence, but then again day to day running and management play a big part in it, they would have to improve their Business orientation to be more customer focused

InvestmentRe: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by fbajomo: 4:43pm On Mar 30, 2007
@ebony9ja

very well put , I like the way you analysed WEMA, but you know our people they want short term profits, so they will not be willing to take a risk in WEMA.

anyway there is another issue not sure if it is a rumor, Who owns NASCON, does Dangote own that as well, or is he planning on taking it over
