Looked more like it from Kovacic, though he had one or two moments when he gave the ball away cheaply. Same applies to Cucurella, who has once again been solid defensively for the most part.

Our biggest problem is obviously lack of quality in the final third. Several times we have failed to pick out a killer pass that was open. Havertz has been very good, but he has been guilty of this on a couple of occasions.

I've been saying the same thing and thanks for bringing this up again. How the coach does not see this is beyond me.

Well maybe but Kepa could have certainly done better. Sure I can think of 3 or 4 things going on in his mind why he didn't make a move but he could have done something there. He could have.

He is a kid and was lost so he smartly (depending on how you look at it) decided to play safe. Not a bad choice but not the best way to announce yourself.
Posting stuff on twitter does not equate to actually playing on the pitch.

I was just saying this the other day. Playing against your age mates doing flicks and tricks is different when you step on the biggest stage.
I am a coach and manager and I tell parents the same thing. You need to be mentally there but that comes with experience.
Look at Lewis Hall for instance and you can tell the difference.
