I echo Ibime's view on this. Though I never followed him before the world cup, you need only 20 mins to know if someone has it or not for midfield play. The guy was a standout technical player, without being a world cup star.

Not sure if you saw this 50m recovery sprint to stop Mbappe against France. That for me was yet another moment that just highlighted his recovery pace and intelligence.

Ibime never followed him, you never did, certainly I did not. Not sure if anyone did.
As per Ibime's theory - never sign a player from the World Cup - James Rodriguez comes to mind.

Amrabaat is energetic, committed and I watched his 50m recovery run- I like that but he also gave the ball away in dangerous areas.

My concern is this - are you guys proposing the club buy this guy because he is on a cheap or because he is good enough. Is he the long term solution or a quick fix?

Forget all those half turns megedefegede Ibime mentioned, strikers have way better half turns, that's how they are sometimes able to beat their markers in tight spaces.

Well, I am the Balogun of Russia (if you know, you know) and while OP is mostly telling as it is, he may have overlooked some parts particularly in terms of racism.

Yakutsk is the capital of Sakha Republic and the "Russians" there are "different". They are mainly Yakuts and they make up more than half of the entire population. The rest are Russians, Kyrgz and others. The Yakuts look very asian and you could sometimes get the impression that Russians look down on those from Yakutia.

Think of Yakutsk as Kazan - also another capital city of another Republic. There are at least 20 other republics in Russia and this is why it is the biggest country in the world.

So, in these republics, Racism is less prevalent - or at least it's in a different form and that will explain the OP's point of view. They see foreigners/Africans in a different light. Something "exotic" if you will.

Same goes for teaching English in these Republics - you could say that they are less exposed to say "city" people from St Petersburg, Moscow, Ekaterinburg. In Moscow, almost every foreigner (particularly from Britain) teach English and they have established English schools.
My football team coach and his wife both teach english for a living.

The key to enjoying Russia is learning to speak the language and if you want to catch fun 24/7 - Russia is the place to be.

My points is that the black Americans that broke through the racial barrier in music, sport, politics and business in America made the ultimate sacrifice for all black man and Black woman in the world especially Africa.

This is why i respect them a lot, especially Beyonce and co because y'all have no idea what they had to go through to be where we are today.
