Re Mesut, in my opinion, playing alongside arguably the world's best footballer, he is more than likely to churn out those stats. If Mata plays alongside Ronaldo, I am sure he can pull such stats as well if not more. Mesut is brilliant but we already have ours.

Its easy to say so, but watch him play weekly then you will probably see what I mean.
I do agree though that Mata remains the ONLY creative player we have, but imo Ozil is more of a fighter. Mata is not.

J12: Why do we need Ozil when we have Mata?
They both have the same skills and height (Mata is a few inches shorter though); are both left-footed; play in the same positions (AM, CAM, OM), have impressive stats for the past two years.
The only difference between them is that Ozil is better dribbler and is slower, Mata is faster and more accurate on goal. Although I like Ozil quite well but as a chelsea fan I'll pick Mata over Ozil.

bros, I may be a little biased here but personally I just love the way Ozil plays. I mean, who else makes a pass without even touching the ball? Only Ozil can! Moreover, Ozil is never missing in BIG games unlike Mata.

Check out the way Chelsea played yesterday (though a point in Manchester is a fair result) and our previous games this season, they've been below my expectation. I am yet to watch a Chelsea's match this season that is full of excitement and entertainment. It's always been boring and flat. I was skeptical about Mourinho's second coming, and I am yet to be impressed this season (Though it's too early to start comparing score cards). But I just hope he understands this 2013 and not 2004.

That Dortmund you mentioned didn't start playing like that overnight.

But again, why play like them? We are Chelsea and we do have our own style.
Against Hull - For the first 30 mins our boys played with such intensity only JM could have brought on with him but thing is you can't maintain that tempo for 90 mins. Of what use will that be?
Against Villa, we got the job done.
At OT, it was boring yes, but would you rather prefer we came home pointless?
