Ibime: Of course he shoulda scored. . . but when was the last time Torres got such chances? Just couple hours ago, one funnyman was posting stats telling us how few clear-cut chances Torres gets. If Sturridge's cameo doesnt tell you who is to blame for Torres' dearth of chances, then you're on a long ting.

Studge showed in 20 mins the kinda chances Shekpe keeper should be getting if he wasnt scared of making the run to put himself in position.

Im not worried if Studge leads the line here on in. Afterall same man scored 10 in 11 matches at Bolton and 13 goals in half a season on the right wing last year.

Torres vs Sturridge? No brainer! Let Studge get into his rhythm, those chances would be converted as he's shown us last season. Comparing Studge 20 mins in that position vs Torres last two years in that position is stupid. Studge is rusty.

Meanwhile, where are the prophets of failure who told us Lampard-less Chelsea is working?
4 points ahead to 6 points behind. #progress.
He is not doing himself any good by not converting those chances. That's the point. He DID NOT score. Torres too fired blanks. No difference here!
But I'm tempted to agree that he starts till Dec and if he does not take his chance then by all means WE NEED A GOOD STRIKER!!!

Is you talking about nateevs? dude knows zero about football aside blowing long useless grammar and ranting about FFP grin cheesy
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by FBS: 6:08pm On Nov 17, 2012
Ibime: Kai. Sturridge has missed two nice chances. But the positive is that he's getting clear chances while shekpelovers keep telling us shekpe does not get chances created or "he woulda been offside if he made a run " . All the chances Sturridge had today would never have materialised if we gave excuse of offside.
what bleeping positives? he should have scored at least one of those two massive chances! rubbish player
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by FBS: 5:59pm On Nov 17, 2012
imo RdM needs to do a 2 month course in coaching again, WTF! Who buys a load of talent-oius "playmakers" but forgot about buying a striker? and then you loan out a promising one?
no, FT is a complete waste..er, Sturridge is an idi.oit. He cannot lead the line. 15 mins is enough for him or move him to another club.
hazard? he got owned by Peter Odewinge today for 94 mins! you say oh but he scored, so bleeping what? i say bench his a$$!
luiz looks like he is not interested...can someone tell me WTF is going on or is this the result of tiki-taka football? grin
cant believe i wasted my time watching these puppets.

The EPL is great but the national team is just complete poo!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by FBS:
@all,
1. Folks, I'm not trying to create any excuse for Torres and I was indeed talking about that particular match. This is the vital point. Besides, how well did Hazard and co play? I believe they were even worse. Work ethic is important. Ask RdM and he will tell you same. Based on his performance against Liverpool, you definitely cannot say he was the worst player on the field, so I don't understand what the gra-gra noise is all about. cheesy

2. We all agree that the major (or maybe the only) problem with FT is the amount paid for him. 50 milla no be joke, so the question is, why did Chelsea pay that sort of crazy fee for a useless striker? maga don pay parts 1,2,3 and 4?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by FBS: 9:59am On Nov 13, 2012
say what you may, I think FT did try against Liverpool and that is coming from me. Lets be objective. Maybe he didn't score (the main reason he is on the team list) still I personally can't fault his work ethic during the match.
It could be because he wanted to prove a point to Lillepools, I know not but he tried. Yes he did.

Mata and Hazard had even a poorer performance but I guess they can be easily forgiven. cheesy
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by FBS: 1:16pm On Nov 12, 2012
to think I skipped my hot dinner last night because of these idiots? angry
terrible performance.
- The only time of note I saw hazard was when he lost the ball...Chelsea conceded a corner, bang and goal! Rubbish
- Mata was effectively useless (save the assist)...missing chances like say him chop madness. damn!
- Ramirez is a ram. phu.king stoopid ram. for the second successive match playing nada.
- Torres actually put in a good shift yesterday. Fought for the ball and actually won some and made good passes and missed well, a chance. He is I guess a good player but not the one to lead the line for Chelsea week in week out.

The only good note I guess was Betrand's performance. I think he played very well.
