we all complain when Ryan plays up on the left wing and we know now understand the reason why. plus that means benching one of the "artistic" trio.
besides cant blame only betrand.
first goal - Ramirez lost his marker and Ryan slipped. shyte happens.
2nd goal was a wicked ball from Fernandinho. hazard and Ryan were too slow and badly positioned to react.

S. Donestk played very well and gave us a tougher game if compared to manshyte. I do remember though that Ashley had a tough time throughout partly cos hazard wasn't helping out in defence.

so all in all, norin spoil.

Its Liverpool next!

True that. but again, this is one of the most entertaining group phase matches I've seen in years. Teams banging in goals like say everyday na holiday. save the french clubs sha..Lille and co..just playing rubbish.
imo, most clubs just want to make it to the last 16 season!. That's the priority.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by FBS: 11:09pm On Nov 07, 2012
Moses done did it!
Luiz na one crazy dude. wtf!
That back line get problem oo. leaking goals like say wetin? And what's with conceding early in matches?

And what goal by Oscar! shocked player!

ddippset: it's all good. we still topping the group, and messi has one more goal. so it's all positives, no negatives. yes.

Johnpaul88: We couldn't even get a draw! Damn!
We switched off thinking late shows will save us.
We must now travel to Moskva for a must win match. Complacency dealt us a heavy blow. May be we gave them a perfect 125th birthday gift. They couldn't have asked for more.
you guys always have it hard in russia and oh dear it will be so freaking cold by the time you play in Moscow. grin we will be watching.

18 year old Tony Watt disgraced barca. Legendary stuff! cheesy

usbcable: Mou has an eye for aged good players that can still function for a year or two.

but on the easy group, i disagree... its now even tougher than i expected.

lets hope we beat man citey.. Ajax will somewhat have a psychological fear of us
and BTW
congrats on the win tonight
Thanks man. We are Chelsea! We do it the Chelsea way! cheesy

Oh JM does know how to get the VERY BEST out of his players generally.
As per your group, beat Ajax and you are through. Citeh have nothing else to play for.

Ozil! what a player. I say this nearly ALL the time. RM should have won last night hands down!

And that was the worst match I've ever seen Ronaldo play. I think he was TOTALLY useless.

Essien still a very good player. na awa guy be that. cheesy

Anyway, with Citeh huffing and puffing, this group might be easier than I thought it would be.

Agreed most of us don't buy the idea of Torres leading the line but it ain't january yet. DS still got to learn imo.
Anyway, I heard FT just got new boots, so lets hope they are the scoring type. We just need to win tonight.

As per Doumbia, yes..he is a very good and explosive player but er, his age..mmmm

How can anyone blame Mikel for those 2 goals? rubbish! ok, maybe he wasn't having his best game last night but heck, it was Romeu (plus a "little bit" of Cech) and Luiz who messed up.

as per the match! well, say what you may, but
- Oscar dey hustle man! I'm impressed. By the time he hits the gym, he can and will only get better
- Hazards a baller. say waaat?! cheesy
- Piazon was played out of position I guess and it wasn't that easy for him I guess
- DL should take it easy oo. na wetin?
- I guess no one will argue with the fact that we need a striker
- AZPI is no Ivanovic but I guess he will better
- Romeu! What was he thinking? Besides , Cech should have thought better!

All in all, it was an entertaining game.

Its Swansea next!

oga nateevs, abeg shift and relocate. na who you dey blow grammar for? cheesy
no one is showing nada aggression here but believe me, its annoying when simple comprehension is beyond your grasp!
Not only that I said let's call a spade a spade - but for some whatever reasons you conjured up in your head, you decided I was referring to you? undecided how did you come up with that? grin

if you ain't sure of who said what - you either re-read or ask. It's that simple. And for the record, I don't insult. cheesy
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by FBS: 12:06pm On Oct 29, 2012
debosky: ^^ y'all seem to be missing the point.

Ibime is saying if he is making these errors consistently, then maybe he should be benched for a game or two - the reason he hasn't been benched (according to Ibime) is because there's no ready 'tiki-taka' replacement on the bench.

Being benched to reinforce a lesson isn't a bad thing and that's all Ibime is calling for - if the Belgian national team coach thinks it's necessary then why not at Chelski?
Maybe your command of this language cheesy will help nateevs understand what we are on about.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by FBS: 12:00pm On Oct 29, 2012
nateevs: If by not calling a spade a spade, you refer to me, (as I don't see anyone else on the other side of this debate) then you got it wrong . . . again.
I am not saying you or Ibime is wrong by calling out Hazard's lack of defending. What I am opposing is the use of the word, we cannot "carry" Hazard.

Also to blame Hazard as the "sole cause" of the loss is absolutely and utterly ridiculous. That's my point.

----------------------------------------------

Hazard's come from a background of light defending as well as being the most important member of his team. Everything went through him at Lille.
He won't get it in a day, maybe not even a season. He will get it though as the likes of Mata and Oscar who as equally as talent get it.
Sometimes, I just wonder if reading or understanding or both is a problem for you? By calling a spade a spade meant saying it as it is. I never said Hazard solely cost us the game and never said we cannot afford to "carry" him along - do yourself a favor and re-read what I said/wrote.
Yesterday was not the first time he lost the ball that finally resulted into a goal against us. Telling a player to defend be it messi or ronaldo or any other player for that matter is certainly not out of place. I even made it clear that I'm sure that he will learn with time.
You were the same person always screaming each time Drogba lost the ball (none of which actually resulted in a goal) -
So Mr, what's up with your double standard? what exactly are you against?

was reading the La liga preview on soccernet a few days ago and the usual a.sz holes "pundits" stated as a matter of fact that barka will win while Real will most probably get a draw. Sometimes I wonder, who the heck are the pundits?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by FBS: 9:04am On Oct 29, 2012
The morning after. . . cheesy
Beat Manshyte on Wednesday and all is more than well.

As per Hazard, he is a fine player (a Joe Cole raised to power 1,5 grin ) no doubt but yesterday was about the 4th time he was found out doing a "Ramirez".

Guys went boom boom on Mikel when he gave the ball away against Juve, so why can't we call a spade a spade?

That said, I more than believe than he will learn to defend as per when required irrespective of tactics. A team that plays together wins together.

What I really want RDM to fix is this silly attitude of conceding early in matches. What's that all about?

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by FBS: 7:39pm On Oct 28, 2012
Anyways, I can safely assume that most Chelsea folks won't be too bothered by the absence of Fernando (maybe it may even give the guy some good time off) , CA can also deputise for Ivanovic so all in all, its not all that bad.

And I think we showed character today even with 9 men we still tried to attack. RdM is doing is job so far to an extent.

on to the next one.

dyabman: if you can score goals do that without match fixing , tippy tappy or tipsy tackky is all folks , having the right players is most important to execute such plan

i believe team work is the most important , porto 04 , liverpool 05 , chelsea 2012 .. tippy tappy is just a tactics to enjoy yourself on the pitch. .
Honestly, I couldn't have said it any better. dyabman you just nailed it.
