Hazard On Marko OUT |
End of first half. |
35 minutes and not one single good ball inside the box. |
oscar wetin na. a very good chance wasted. |
Looking for Fantasy points? ![]() The players selected should get the job done. Meanwhile...Marin was lucky not to get a red. lucky lucky boy. |
Happy New Year folks! ![]() |

It is well. Happy New Year people. ![]() |

Ain't from da east but nna men, how can you say Flavour's album did no record commercial success? Personally, I'm totally and very surprised about that. me thinks, the OP should travel more!Anyway, happy festive period to everyone! ![]() |
Talk of an important goal and there you have it. Mata popped it. But nna man, that match was played like what, 0.000006576 km/hr? ![]() Anyway, 3 points and we closing on citeh. Silly Newcastle couldn't defend. Could have been sweeter. ![]() |
silly Newcastle hope they just don't get relegated playing this way. |
JM is crazier than the whole of Marca print combined together The man just no send. It's funny, no one is talking of "sack" but rather that he will "leave"! The man is a (to borrow usbcable's english) a bigger juggernaut to crack. And not with the fat contract he has. ![]() Personally, I see no big deal in benching Iker and heck, I wouldn't mind if Ronado was benched too...can't remember when last he played a good game. At the moment, ain't no hunger in the team and they are all playing below what is expected of them. Either ways, the second half of the season should/will be interesting even though we already know the winner. |
Good win but not too big a deal. This was a match we were supposed to win and we did. Happy days. ![]() AV don suffer for Chelsea hand...when was it we beat them 7-1? 2 seasons ago? Anyways, I'm happy for Piazon (though he missed a penalty) and boy, is Luiz dazzling in the midfield position! Let us see him in that position against a stronger opposition and I hope them goals didn't dry up this evening. ![]() Any transfer news so far? authentic ones I mean. |
Winter wa? Good for the kids though... |
Just as we thought...JM and Rondo coming back to Manchester. I say, RM to win this and easy too. ![]() |
This sure gonna be fun. Dayo vs Debo! ![]() A-40 vs who? ![]() Bring it on! *Sits back jejely to follow the Europa League draw* ![]() |
And such a strange feeling...following the Europa league draw ![]() |
nateevs: I don't know what to make of this Falcao to Chelsea news. It's just too much money.Really, its too much money but hey, its RA, what can we do? |
Andre Uweh: @FBS, d. Luiz has played more as a central defender than a midfielder. No need pushing him to the midfield. He should learn to defend properly and should stop running forward all the time. Not withstanding, he can switch to that position if he can only learn to track back and stop losing the ball in dangerous places. Did you watch the match against Monterrey? |
nateevs: On point man! There are not many defenders capable of what he can do. I don't know how he sees what he does sometimes. Beauty of a pass.Telling you man, I don't even know any defender that can make deliver such a beauty of a pass as last night. Honestly, one needs 3D spectacles to really appreciate the beauty of it. And mind you, that wasn't the first time. You have correctly identified his main problem and its either someone is everly stationed to cover for him (me thinks that used to be Mikel's role) or play him up the field. Who knows maybe he is exactly what we need in the middle? |
LEAGUE CUP SEMI-FINAL DRAW Chelsea v Swansea Bradford v Aston Villa |
@usbcable, Personally, I think even if Ronado leaves, Real Madrid will survive. Get Falcao (assuming he doesn't com to Chelsea ) and you are in good shape. But well, that's my opinion. One thing, I still don't understand is why he (Ron) does not like to and almost never celebrates with his team when they score? Say for instance, Benzy scores, Ronado does not even try to smile. What's up with that? JM will only leave if he wins the UCL this season cos at the moment, even for him, it's a strange situation where his team play that poor. He will want to see this out in his own way...well, except the powers that be (including the crazy spanish press) want him out. Me dey good mood today as my boy just finished Leeds. ![]() |
mukina2: balogun of russiaWhat can I do for you miss? ![]() |
Say what you may about David Luiz but that was a delicious pass to locate Hazard. I could watch that all day. The boy has got vision man. Beautiful. Though he messed up for the first goal he more than made up for it. I say, push him up field. imo Lamps was more effective in the second half and an assist to cap it off. Ivanovic scored at the right time. Moses scored a good goal to cool the nerves, and Marin had a nice game. Hazard came on and turned the screws. Dazzler! Mr Torres apparently can only score when there is no one guarding the net or when there is nothing at stake. He had, as usual, a very poor game. Cesar Azpi gast to improve with his crosses though he sent a nice one to Fernando, who only managed to head straight at the goalkeeper. Betrand is improving by the day and Oscar did what he had to do - hustling hustler. Player of the season so far... - Mata! |
From the look of things, some people generally lack basic home training. Can't blame them though as it's in their genes. How and who supports which club (and for what reasons) give some hopeless people sleepless nights, we will never know. but hey, they can hug a bleeping transformer if it makes them feel better. One would think that they actually founded the club itself. SMH ![]() Anyways, back to the topic, the title is as good as over for Real Madrid except well, if the unthinkable happens. Even the Atletico manager confessed that one club like that make the La Liga boring. Again, I can't blame him. He does know what he is saying. Real should focus on the UCL (as my club can't win it again this season due to lack of a proper striker and a sound manager and a totally wild owner. ) and in the process try to move up the league table. You could see that the hunger and desire ain't just there for some of the players. Knowing RM and JM, I still won't count them out though. Let the season roll on! |
In Russia, the first 10 days of the year na holiday. Drink and eat till you fall off. ![]() |
As of today... The so called master of cup/knock out games a.k.a Rafa games blew it. Failed his very first BIG test. How is he any better than RdM? Someone said money wins everything...really? how come the 50 milla pounds rubbish couldn't score when it mattered most? Most of the players showed no desire to win at all. The "better" win won it. In your face RA. Knee-jerk reactions ain't always the best. The club is obviously getting what it deserved. NOTHING! Let the season roll on... PS: At least Hazard is definitely improving on his defensive duties. Good to see. |
DANILSA: WHY DONT YOU SHUT UP? OR TELL US WHAT THE CONSTITUTION SAYS ABOUT VP?VP? where in that did you read VP? You just felt like shouting innit? ![]() |
@OP, I totally disagree with you. Both men and women "change" if you can actually call it that. The early stages of a marriage is basically to enjoy each other and as times goes on, responsibilities fly in and the weight of this and the demands (both physical and emotional) make you wonder if your spouse is changing. Reality is that, we all handle these "changes" (read demands and responsibilities) in different ways. If you can place yourself in your partner's skin, then you will know if he/she is changing or not. |
Match is practically over. Them boys just enjoying themselves. de Nigris scores for Monterrey. Wasn't he offside. anyways, it wont change nada. Chelsea 3 - 1 Monterrey. Its Corinthians next in the final on Sunday. |
