A statement on the Chelsea website read: ''Chelsea Football Club can confirm scans show Petr Cech suffered a tear in a calf muscle during the second half against Inter, and he is expected to be out for three to four weeks.''

Nice game plan but you forgot one thing? Stoke are also up for this game after they dealt with Citeh.

DD's goal against Wolves?

I don't need to copy stats from anywhere. . .I watch the matches meself.

U mean 90% of the goals Chelsea have conceded this season are from set pieces?
I disagree with you. Keeping possession is the KEY and Hilario's short kicks guarantees that than Cech's senseless kicks out of touch.
Yep that's what I meant. Most goals were from set pieces abi I lie?
There is nothing senseless in the way Cech kicks the ball. What rubbish are you saying sef?
Don't you see how weak Hilly kicks the ball?  undecided

Again, I repeat anyone will tell you Cech "long" balls are better than Hilly's short "kicks".

What are yall debating. We all know Lehmann's classic "throw-in-kicks" are the best! grin

while the 4-3-3 can make Chelsea more dynamic going forward, it also usually renders Anelka useless(Ibime can attest to this) cheesy
if Inter give Chelsea that much space in the 2nd leg, they will concede 6 goals.
Expect Jose to play 5-5-0.
Where is Ibime when you need him.  grin  grin  grin

Eto'o had an unintended "assist". Is that all?  undecided
The only chance he had, he fluffed it.

We defo deserved a point yesterday. Even JM agrees to that.

His attitude is even worse.
Sincerely,if he was up to scratch this season,Darren Fletcher wouldn't be so massive for us.Especially with Hargo out.
I won't miss him.I think we've coped without him and his inconsistent ways.
I daresay we won't miss him.
You are very correct there. Certainly not a BIG loss for you guys.
Cech has only got 1 assist this season which doesn't say much for someone who kicks it long 12 times per game.
Do you know how many goals Chelsea have conceded because Cech's long kick gave possession to the opponents?
You are wrong. He has had more than 4. How many other keepers in the EPL can boast of that?
Chelsea mostly conceded this season from set pieces. What does that have to do with Cech's long kick?
I prefer Cech's kicks to Hilly. Anyone will tell you just that. And no he doesn't kick it 30 times per game.
I actually prefer his kicking than Cech's.
The object is to keep possession at all times from a goal kick. Hilario's kicks find Chelsea's players always.
What is the essence of a long kick that gives possession to your opponents? Cech should learn from Hilario.
What are you talking about? Do you know how many assist Cechs got this season? undecided Yes from his "kicks"
Hilly's kick are weak to say the least and must certainly improve on that.

@wormedup
Yeah. Even though he said he did not "see" the penalty (a-la Wenger who normally doesn't see anything any time it favors his team) he did admit that Chelsea deserved a point last night.
Not only was it a penalty to Chelsea, Samuel, should have been red carded and with 10 v 11? Who knows what might have happened.

But really, I wasn't even referring to that article. I was just talking on general terms. Heck I admire JM a lot.

People get irritated when he talks, but I just love it. Besides, most of the stuff you even read on papers are all cooked up stories by lazy journalists.

If I want authentic info on his comments, I go straight to inter.it  cheesy

@BlueDiva, you probably missed all the "dirty" work he did yesterday. He was simply HOT!
I agree with you though that Inter did not come rushing at us like Barca or Real would have done. Well, you know, they are all different teams with different styles of play.

Now, tell us what Ivanovic did aside the assist? Yes I can tell you, nothing. Except you can prove to us otherwise.

Its 6-1 against you B-Diva.  cheesy

@wormedup,
JM is a controversial figure and he does that so well. Some say he does that to take the pressure off his players.
But this one wey him talk say he doesn't lose at the bridge? he just shot himself.  grin

BlueDiva:
I never said Mikel had a bad game, he just didn't play extraordinarily to deserve the MOM in my opinion.
Malouda was excellent, supporting the attack etc.
However, a player like Messi would have whitewashed Malouda last night.

Ivanovic for me has greatly improved.
I seriously disliked him when he arrived, he looked shaky then. Last night was a different ball game.
Our conceded goals was not Ivanovic's fault. JT messed up the first, the whole defence messed up the second.

Generally, everyone played well last night.
Sturridge made little impact and Anelka was just there.
Mikel? Are you serious. That was his best match for us so far. or maybe you watched a different match. grin
Ivanovic? He did nothing aside the assist he made yesterday. Nothing. And that is probably the only thing you saw.
Sturridge made no impact at all. Anelka. . .I think there is a problem with him lately. He's been like this since after the match against Arse?ana.l Fc.
Messi wouldn't have done nada against Malouda yesterday. Yes, he was that solid. He was up for it. It was a challenge he wanted to take and he did extremely well.
