Personally I am against abortion except in the case of incest, rape or when it could cost the death of the pregnant lady. That comes from my Parochial education coming from Jesuits Schools my siblings and I attended. Where I disagree with you is that being a Progressive, I will not impose my will on a lady to do what she wants with her life. I pray that none of my daughters will have one but if any of them decides to, it's not my choice to impose my beliefs on her. Saying that to say that abortion is a personal choice because this is a very controversial issue in America. If the Government stops legal abortion, the issue will become State Rights issues and for the Red States that will ban all abortions no matter the circumstance, it will lead to back alley abortions that claimed many lives in the 40s, 50s, and 60s before SCOTUS steps in.
