Texas is the only state that decided to do it alone and cut off from the national grid and Texas is the only state with system failure. And Texas is not even the closest to the artic circle. In Saskatchewan, we have had -54 c several times in February already and there are zero frozen wind turbines. Texas only went to about -10c and things are shutting down. Lol.

Texas leaders failed to heed warnings that left the state's power grid vulnerable to winter extremes. Incompetent leaders are the problem.

Annoyingly, my province is sending electrical power down to some southern states in the US because of the unusual freeze. Most of the states are those stupid red states.
