Just like the OP said UTG is the only university in Gambia although there’s this American International University. Gambia is good for someone who has a handwork e.g Tailoring, it’s easier to make it and also for people like the OP who studied a good course, we have Nigerian Lawyers, Judges and Doctors here. And also Teachers that can teach science subjects.

I think your choice of accommodation may also depend on what you are coming to do in Istanbul. Are you coming for school or to just hussle? There is accommodation everywhere and anywhere. But if you are coming to husstle, dont even think of a furnished apartment. Your money go finish. And to add to it, its possible you also share accommodation.
