PoliticsRe: Who Is Qualified To Rule Nigeria by fegflu: 1:52pm On Mar 06, 2009
Nigerians in the diaspora will make a bette candidate.
He or she should ensure that the ministers as well should be from the diaspora.
people who wil run strategic parastatals like CBN xcetra should all come from the diaspora.

Lets start from there- and wait for the result after 5years. if i works -then its a good recipe-then we continue wit it. if these particular pack of nigerians still fail us again. Then we wil be fully convinced that -failure and evrythin negative is in our blood as Nigerians.

Just like Oprah Winfrey said.
PoliticsHourly Payment Should Be Introduced In Nigeria Civil Service For Efficiency by fegflu(op): 1:35pm On Mar 06, 2009
They should introduce clocking in and clocking out cards, or introduce a system that will calculate actual work done
so they can get paid accordingly-they should start paying them by the hour or the number of files they deal with! most civil servants are lazy and incompetent!
PoliticsRe: Anambra Introduces Automated Salary Payment by fegflu: 1:32pm On Mar 06, 2009
Tallnaijaf,
Come to think of it oh. If banks are allow to run the system -like ur said with UBA- i think it will be a bit better. Maybe nigeria will be like britain- whose economy is runed by banks. Maybe we start havin bank holiday etc. If banks ar allowed to run nigeria- it may help. i dont know- but i think it will make sense a bit.

Davidiff,

Dont give us western or textbook definition of politics.
In Nigeria- that is the definition of politics.
And nigerians know its true- business of interests of a few pit moustache folks.

PoliticsRe: Has Anybody Considered Ojo Madueke For President. by fegflu: 9:25pm On Mar 05, 2009
Politics can be define as the Business of interest.

Business - involves commerce which in turn breeds greed.
Interest- what are u offerin for wat i am giving you -which n turn breeds godfatherism

Affalatus are u hearing me? Did u find truth anywhere in the definition above? NO

so the question of truth in politics is completely not part of it.
PoliticsRe: Senators, Representatives And Academic Qualifications. by fegflu: 9:03pm On Mar 05, 2009

PoliticsRe: Senators, Representatives And Academic Qualifications. by fegflu: 8:55pm On Mar 05, 2009
Outstrip,
U ar in d States right? my arguement is this-
What i am saying is that Nigerians believe so much on paper qualification . They c it as a criteria to get everything beautiful that the society can offer. It is wrong. The people who introduce the academi curriculim we use today dont c it that way- and i will say it again -IN BRITAIN-were i liv, QUALIFICATION WITHOUT EXPERIENCE is as good as u never had the qualification in the first place- cus that iswat d system will reduce u to here.
On the otherhand- Go to all American business schools today,MOST of the students there are not Americans( majority of them are foreigners-africans , indians, asians, arabs), it is that way also in england. They KEEP manipulating the media on how highly regarded the qualifications from these schs are- but there citizens dont attend them. Have u ever ask your self the question why. But yet these same citizens runs wall street, runs hollywoods, manage all those blockbusters movies on Tv. You think steven spieberg hav a PHD.

What the world needs today is originality. Once people c that in you they will embrace u. And that is what has produced the likes of carlos slim, gates,Mittal, in the music industry-jayz,nice,tuface, in politics Obama(not his education- he was original) etc.

Whilst a considerable level of education in life is important- it is not a guarantee that you must achieve the best from the world. If we as nigerians continue to think like that we will never achieve much.

PoliticsRe: Senators, Representatives And Academic Qualifications. by fegflu: 4:32pm On Mar 05, 2009
It is Only in Nigeria that u need qualification to do everything. the world has change far away from such ideas. Experience is wat matters now. Go out of the country and c if qaulification is an issue 2 get a job.

PoliticsLulu Enabaifoh Removal From Nig Sao Tome And Principle Dev Authority Was Wrong by fegflu(op): 4:13pm On Mar 05, 2009
Any way, i would have love the guy to remain in the position. He did not do anybody wrong. His only offence is that he made himself too visible ( by enganging in a lavish burial ceremony). This is what resulted in the media hype.I am in support of giving key government positions to as many as possible southsouth state citizens- irrespective of whoever it is. The nigerian state is not the exclusive asset of the north and the west. The south and east is part holders as well. It is only when fairness in powersharing is percieved this way that we can achieve even development across the federation- otherwise politicians will continue to be only interested in getting into power and not coming to change things for the better.
Sometimes the media feeds the public wit useless news as anenih did this, ibori did this, lulu did this- and all that. The truth is that we the people from the south south need people that can stand out and compete strongly with other folks in the politica arena of this country, if we are really serious about wanting developments to come to us. And you must know that- this can not be done with empty hands( we tried it before with KenSaro Wiwa of blessed memories-it did not favour us). You need all the resources (manpower, influence, money , political manipulations etc) to stand tall with the key players from other regions that have always been in the system .At the moment, if you are not a vicious fighter in the polity notting comes to you.Thats why if any one of us manage to get to the top- let us do our best to rally around them and give them our support. Instead of trying to be the good nigerian by shouting with others -crucify him. There is nottin that is been done fairly any where in the world today. You are expected to compete with others to get your fair share. Nobody will do anything for you. If they were fair with us - we will not have the problems we are experiencing in the niger delta today. All over the federation and abroad nigerians are finding various means to survive on their own. They dont get support from the state. The state is not concerned about you- Instead it feeds on you. Nigeria eats its babies.

Look let me tell u something British Tory Party leader David Cameron drives a bike to work, so the rationale behind the idea was good.
PoliticsRe: Has Anybody Considered Ojo Madueke For President. by fegflu: 3:36pm On Mar 05, 2009
Look the whole idea was for it to complement our motor transportation- and not to eliminate the usage of a car to work for a bike. This is the piont pple should grasp properly before criticizin the guy.
PoliticsAit Focus Nigeria Should Invite Anenih, ibori, obj, etc To Its Programmes by fegflu(op): 5:38pm On Mar 04, 2009
I think AIT   FOCUS NIGERIA  Gbenga Arulegba should invite all those key PDP people that has being indicted in one way or the other for abuse of office to its programme. We watch Obama,Hillary clinton, and Mccian openly accepting TV invitation to talk to the public on their stewardship in office. Anenih, Ibori, OBJ, Bode George etc has never done it before since they left office. Gbenga Arulegba  keep bringing irrelevant people in the polity to defend PDPs actions. What is wrong if the main architects of the problems are invited.
