When you go to the doctor in the U.S, you are not required to prove your citizenship status, what this means is that a foreigner enjoys all the health subsidies that U.S. citizens get, which is quite extensive. That being said, I'm not terribly sure what this policy will actually accomplish, even though I agree with the underlying motivation, considering that U.S. medical patients pay at least 10 times more for healthcare that most of the world on average.

I woke up around 5am to ease myself hoping to go back to sleep afterwards so I can wake up by 7am to prepare for work but suddenly this woman started preaching using an extremely loud megaphone. This went on till around 6am. I wasn't able to go back to sleep until six forty something or there about because of the noise. When I woke up by 7am I was so tired that I just decided to continue sleeping and take the day off.

Now if this were a working country I would have called the police or approach her and tell her to reduce the noise. However, since we're in Nigeria, if I had told her something like that she would have concluded that it's her fire that was burning the "demon in me" and not the excessively loud noise from her megaphone, robbing me of sleep at such early hours that was making me uncomfortable. I wished there's something I could do because she might repeat this again.

The guy next door is always watching nollywood and doesn't know how to keep it down. What I noticed is that they are always shouting in movies. Simple conversation between actors are had at the top of their voices, always yelling and then crying the whole sound is just too terrible then loud music in between scenes. You lose more respect using these types of phones than when you're using even torchlight phone. At first people see it and say wow he's using iPhone 17 pro max then they notice it's Tecno and your respect and image drop beneath minimum.

Can a government official be pardoning a law-abiding citizen? No, pardons are granted to criminals who may have been found guilty of a particular offense.
