I am not a medical practitioner so I may not be able to explain from a medical perspective but look at this.

After my wedding I went to see my sponsors to appreciate them and the first thing he warned was that should my wife fall sick onward, I should not give her any drugs most especially tetracycline. That, should there be any changes I should take her to go see her doctor. He went further to say that there are a lot drugs and contraceptives that damages fetus in the womb and sometimes lead to one form of disability.

The parents will not tell you. They may not even know.
Another angle to look at it from is that a lot of pregnant ladies usually go to quack native women who rub their womb and this may be another angle to that explanation. My mother did it so I will do likewise.

A friend of mine posted pregnancy scan results on Facebook. The wife was still pregnant and I chatted him up to take down the post but he was mad at me and called me superstitious.

About a month later the wife and the twin baby died while she was in delivery.
