I don free dem.. It was really hard for me to make the decision but.. I just decide buy one better, spacious land for better estate..and build gradually myself... But i still think it is a good idea to invest in the new project at chevron round.. It a very good location and i love it...But you should also cosider.. How much space you need? How big is your family? what is the main purpose of buying the property?Do you have a steady source of income? etc.. You should also remember they will Lekki garden will not do the internal finishing for you.. etc...

I think lekky county estate is good but not fully developed yet...I have been doing some inspection there ..But the price of land there is a little on the high side...

Do you think this Judgement affect OJomu land around agungi, behind friend colonoy, Close to bakare Estate?

From what i saw from the one opposite Abraham AS... The house is not very spacious and the quality of the building is not so good.. because from the prototype.. The walls are already cracking..However, the road to the estate is good.. and i think they always have light... It a little confusing... they promised to deliver my house after 14month... after outright payment... No inner doors,no tiles, no painting, etc..

Alright thanks.. I am just trying to be careful and i think it better to get information from more experienced people rather than making decision you might end up regretting.... I hope to hear from you about the judgment...

Bro.. What do you think about ikota villa estate Or lekky county homes... Do you think it a good area,.. I tried making Enquiry about Agungi, osapa and Chevron land.. And an Agent told me there is alot of controversy about land in that area...As Oba Elegushi has gotten judgment from the Supreme court to take possession of the land from the other family selling most of the land...

Thank you all for responding to my post... I think i have really gained from your advise,both professional and unprofessional advise.. I wish it was only the professional that responded.. It could have saved me the stress of reading all the post...


I still need some more advise from you guy professionals( Duplex owner,Engineers, Contractor, Architect, Estate Agent and Consultant etc)

If you have 30 million would you attempt to build a 4-5bedroom duplex or You will prefer to buy a 4-bedroom Terrace Duplex somewhere round to Chevron(lekki) in a proposed Estate.. ( which will be delivered in 12month)


From what you guys have said.. I believe i can build a good duplex between 12-15million..

Is it possible to get a Standard plot before the Second toll gate for 10-15million.?

stinicks10: hello vicjustice I recently applied for a 6months uk tourist visa and was denied, reason being that i did not give enough detail about what I will be doing during the 2 weeks I wanted to spend in the uk(reason for travel was summer vacation). and also the credits and balances on my account statement does not commensurate with my monthly income of 400k per month.
I am self employed, into equipment leasing(mack trucks) and haulage. I sent in the following documents.
1. My company documents including Certificate of incorporation, and tax clearance for 2012
2. Age declaration ( am 27yrs)
3. Board letter from my company, signed by a director listed in the company docs
4. fully paid hotel reservation for the two weeks I intended to stay coming up to £1340
5. my personal savings acct statement with bal 1.7m naira( not lump sum payment )
6. my company acct statement which am sole signatory( although I did not state this) with balance 2m naira also not lump sum payments
The jobs I do I receive mostly cash and cheque payments.
I want to know if I still have a chance if I apply again, or perhaps I could reduce my monthly income to somtin like 250k permonth, besides I dont understand how to give more details about what I will be doing during the two weeks period I wish to stay.
Finally I will like to know if this denial will affect my chances of getting a schengen visa, perhaps I can go to france for the holiday. if this UK people wont give me visa.

I was in your choose some few month back when i wanted to apply for a visit visa to the Uk, I even used a Domicillary account because i save all the money i make from my trucking business in my Dom account..., i was denied the first time and the next time i tried.. i got the visa.. I didnt even use CAC..I know the following advise will be helpful..

1 Get pictures of you and your trucks

2 Include the truck document and reciept in your application

3 get a lagos state personal income tax clearance

4 dont change the 400k you already stated..(in the additional information box..Write about the fact that haulage is capital intensive and you need to spend alot of money on Tyres, servicing, pay your drivers and also mantian your truck to keep it runing)

5 Include an hotel reservation

6 itinerary of your trip

7 Bank statement

8 CAC
