Magnificenttop:In a sane country where true federalism is not a joke like ours, any Nigerian resident in any state for more than 10 years should be able to contest as governor of such state, win election and govern well. But if you allow an Igbo man to govern Lagos, we all know how he will turn Lagos upside down in favour of his hometown. An Hausa man as governor of imo state will be a disaster while a Yoruba man as governor of kano would never even happen. He won't even win primary election. The same thing in the east but it is possible in the south west with what happened in Lagos in the last election |

thedio:If only seyi had shown his true colors during his first term in office, maybe those family men won't be kneeling down before him at his second term.. The people of Ibadan should now have learned the had way to stop voting anyone from any political party into the office of Oyo State governor for 2nd term. This his 2.0 mission should be an eye opener |

Hussein052:Wickedness when in power is criticised all over the world. It is only in Nigeria that we celebrate it because of nepotism, tribalism, religion and political party affiliation. Who knew yahaya bello was that wicked to the people of Kogi State on social media until he left office? |

I hope he is not planning to go to the Senate after his tenure because he will Also hear from us again with our votes against him. |

Mods should change the topic to pictures of Ibadan roads. Nothing concerns the present governor with what is been shown here. All na propaganda for the coming LGA election. No new road looks like that in Ibadan |

Someone said he wants to reconstruct and the op is showing old roads. Na him construct old roads too? You can deceive others on the internet but not residents of Oyo state |

The economy of a nation should not be entrusted into the hands of BDCs They should be proscribed. Commercial banks is more manageable by CBN to handle forex than BDCs |

press9jatv:The MC said a lot of things that are weird. Even one comment of his can spark religious violence if it were to be in the north against Islam. He was painting a counselorship candidate as someone who would outperform Jesus if Jesus were to be in his shoes in his 1st term. You know the Ibadan kind of mouth especially when not educated 1 Like |

press9jatv:I hope it is not true too I hope the state inec is truly independent to resist such because it sounds very strange to some of us who are non partisan when we heard the jokelike statement from the MC. We discussed it extensively days after the gathering. Some of us have decided to go out and vote so as to witness how it will be possible to write results by a political party this weekend 1 Like |

I was opportuned to be at a PDP LGA chairman campaign somewhere in Oyo State recently and I heard the MC saying no matter what the people do, they will be the one to write the results of the election and they all applaud him in excitement. 2 Likes 1 Share |

thedio:You speak my mind directly. He is the best governor on social media while the poor masses are suffering under his leadership. Many died via high blood pressure after rendering them homeless at retirement. They built on lands beside government acquisition but Seyi grabbed their lands along side government land because he has power to do so as governor. The poor can die if they like kind of mentality 2 Likes 1 Share |

EFCC and Seyi makinde movie will be more epic than that of yahaya bello and EFCC. A governor is always a saint when in power no matter how wicked he is to the people he govern. We shall be waiting for revelations by EFCC chairman when Seyi commences his own hide and seek after his tenure as governor. I've never seen a quiet, gentle and wicked man combo govern Oyo State in a long while. 1 Like |

Daystar7:I can feel your pain But 3rd position can never become 1st from high court to supreme court as you can see from real educated people. Insults won't fetch you presidency too. But you can make millions from Reno's challenge on social media. He want schools built by your principal during his 8 years as governor. Not a beer company.o. The same alcohol is what is affecting many of you now. |
