Na glory hunting dey behind the wrong decision making. You know our football culture here na. If it were Iwobi I am certain he'd have passed the ball.

Moments like that are key. We miss them in crucial games, we will regret oo.
Wait until chukweze dribbles 3 defenders and keeper then tries to dribble another defender and lost the ball in the process.

Just remembered something. Heard Da Bull during the commentary when he said that Today is the day team SE will break the 'jink' jinx of winning CIV @ home. And also winning a game wearing this white jersey. It got me scratching my head tho. Does it mean we have not won any game with this white jersey
the statistics against the white jersey is very poor.
At some point, I felt the player do not intend to get it stained hence their classy display that do lead to defeat

They lack tactics and always making noise at war front. What's the use of radio and drones to locate your enemies location. Our generals are doing nothing at all. Did you see them killed any terrorist in the video ? Nigerian army are too weak, just wasting tax payers money.
I would have love them to sneak into their camp with the aid of technology to reduce casualties and ammunition wastage.
They can't be up to 20 armed bandits at a time
US army did it for Osama in his camp without noise making in the forest like the Nigerian army.

They should continue deceiving themselves.
There was serious fire fighting and someone has the chance and freedom to do vidoes and snap pictures.

Thanks to God i am not living there. And dont have any family member there. Both their seriousness and hypocrisy is still on them.
They should have collected ammunition from government then quietly give them to bandits in exchange for dollars like we do hear before?
They are showing u evidence of their work now and yet you are not satisfied

They want to crash out first before using them for another qualifier?

1. The EQG team had a game plan to seat back, soak the pressure and hit Nigeria on the counter

And there defense was cagged so Nigeria can't penetrate.

2. In such a game, a direct play will never work as they will always over power you or frustrate you.

But Nigeria was playing a direct ball making Osimhen the sole focus of our play. Every one was trying to pass to him. Of course the EQG will ensure they're all on him and stop his flow

3. What the coach should have done is to split thier defense by using more of the wings to drew them out.
And Moses Simon and Chukweze would have done that well.
But he kept Chukweze on the bench and Moses Simon was moved to the right-wing role instead of his more familiar left-wing position, this disrupted the team's attacking dynamics.

And also use more strike option with at least two strikers. Would have been ok

4. He left it too late before bringing in wingers Chukweze..
And the striker at barely 3 minutes to go

Jose Peseiro is still a learner
Chukweze is not a player you depend on when playing for S.E. Very wasteful player only for national team

Dangote did not built refinery to make Nigerians happy with less price.

His fuel will surely be more expensive. But thank God he is not a friend of this government, else government would have ban importation of fuel in his favor or better still release a policy that will make him milk the country dry alone with his refinery.

There is something I have been meaning to ask. Elyte and our other Muslim brothers please educate me. Why do Africans, especially West Africans spell Arabic names differently from their original Arabic spellings?

Kalidu instead of the sweet sounding Kalid.

Saidu instead of Saeed.

Umaru instead of Umar

Bashiru instead of Bashir

Aishatu instead of Aisha etc

Abeg help me with simple explanation or reason as to why we spell and pronounce these names differently? Even Mohamed in West Africa is Mohammadu. Why do we always add that "u"

Lamurudu instead of
Nimrod.

U for making U-turns instead of going forward

A trophy winning team should be unbeatable all the time with a winning mentality . That is one attribute of Senegal and Algeria in Africa.
Same with France and Argentina

Nigeria is a joke of the century with it's basket goal keepers and a palm wine tapper having a part-time job as a P.E teacher coaching the team

Never write off a Nigerian team going to AFCON!
Reflecting on the 2004 AFCON:

the Nigerian team's rollercoaster journey that defied expectations. It all began with a setback—a loss to Morocco in the opening game, compounded by the dismissal of Babayaro and Yakubu due to indiscipline. Many believed it spelled the end for Nigeria's campaign.

Yet, against all odds, the team, captained by Okocha and led by Kanu, rallied. Their resilience and determination became evident as they fought their way back into contention. Amidst the challenges, a new star emerged in the form of the young Osaze, who fearlessly showcased his talent on the grand stage, signaling the birth of a promising career.

Advancing from the group stage with an impressive victory over South Africa, Nigeria faced a formidable challenge in the quarterfinals against Cameroon. With many considering Cameroon, led by Eto'o, as the favorites, the odds seemed stacked against the Super Eagles.

However, in a thrilling encounter, Nigeria displayed their tenacity. Jay Jay's stunning free-kick just before halftime leveled the score, setting the stage for an intense second half. Then, a moment of brilliance from Papillo resulted in one of the most memorable assists in football history, setting up Utaka for a remarkable goal.

Utaka's strike, though seemingly slow and uncertain at first, found its mark, hitting the post and finding the net. The sheer joy and ecstasy of that moment were palpable, with celebrations erupting both on the field and among fans. Such was the intensity of the moment that some fans were so caught up in celebration that they didn't realize they were injured, like the person who reportedly lost a thumb in the excitement!

Despite their valiant efforts, Nigeria faced a heart-wrenching defeat in the semifinals against the host nation, Tunisia, in a penalty shootout. The loss, although hard-fought, was not without controversy, leaving a feeling that with the aid of VAR, victory might have been within our reach!

S/O to Yobo, Olofijana Okoronkwo, Abey George, Udeze etc

To my fellow countrymen, let not this friendly setback dampen your spirits.
I am confident that the Super Eagles will regroup and soar at the AFCON.
I promise you!

Dey play!

The government is not bothered about development of the country or about the youths. The youths are good enough as thugs and nothing more. So I fail to capture how their japa affects an insensitive idoncare govt. The elite get to power to share our commonwealth, not to develop anybody or anything.
the only plan the government has for the youth is EFCC and police extortion
