TruthsFM:Don't bother yourself. Anything like this from government is not for the masses Even if tinubu mean well, the system won't allow the masses to benefit The rice is not even enough for family members of custom officers at Lagos alone not to talk of their ogas in Abuja and politicians who would also be interested in cheap Rice. Then business men and women with large pocket to bribe are also interested. So how do you expect the common man to benefit? 2 Likes |

You cleared off the man with an incredible speed to the extent that you can't find the body anywhere close to the road. I've had several situations where someone will suddenly drift onto the road unexpectedly but driving at a sane speed always allow for a Swift and effective reaction to avoid a collision and I always thank God for His mercies That of your own is manslaughter with a cosmetic attempt to evade punishment from God and man. |

This is the main disadvantage of sacking a police officer especially SARS and then allow him to go and leave among the people. These type of people after sack should be drafted into the Frontline of the army fighting terrorist in the forest. 1 Like |

Assuming all European countries are visa free for Nigerians and transportation is a free one way ticket. If tinubu still has anyone left in Nigeria to govern after 48hours then it has to be dangote and the likes Poverty is the only reason we are still plenty here. Government knew this truth and they prefer Nigerians to remain poor for them to remain relevant 4 Likes |

All those chanting that the owner should be investigated forgot that the owner as mentioned in the story is not resident in the slum like them. Why is it that Poor people always feel anyone comfortable in Nigeria is a thief. Even when police stops your vehicle and you are looking fresh in their eyes, you are automatically a criminal! Haba! |

taiwolomo1:The damage CBN and emefiele did to Nigerians should be documented in the Guinness book of records. Everything was tailored towards impoverishing Nigerians. AliExpress, Amazon etc will list their items in naira and we need to get dollars to pay because of CBN. The naira was assassinated at CBN 1 Like |

Too blind to see that wicked corrupt forces are responsible for all these woes They get richer while you blame market forces with empty stomach. Go and google it. How come you still buy at a lesser price if there is no subsidy according to your deregulation story Go and see the doctor I recommended immediately you realize your error from Google search |

Business / Re: What exactly Is The Benefit Of Floating The Naira? by femicyrus(m): 5:03pm On Feb 14 |
Most of the economist who commented so far failed to understand that Nigeria is a peculiar place where economic principles will always fail because of the type of people the corrupt system had produced over the years. Likewise, US & UK will never devalue their own currency but will always encourage us to do so using the same economic principles we are all quoting as a bait. Allow death penalty to fight corruption like Japan or china and see what Nigeria will become in 4 years. 2 Likes |

Babathanks:That is the reason for diplomatic collaboration. This embassies are located in Nigeria. Ministry of foreign affairs can engage them on the need to transact in naira or only allow transactions through banks that will help you convert your naira equivalent to the currency you wish to make payments with at the embassy. Nigeria can survive without BDC operation 1 Like 1 Share |
