Reading some of these replies, I am oustanded and this is the problem with Nigeria today, we always settle for less. We were absolutely shit and another team would have seriously punished Argentina becasue their defence was shit. It was a case of defending and countering simple, but our players are not fit and clearly lack ability.

Lets face the fact we really shit because our goalie was our best player. What did Kaita, Obasi, the guy that played right back, uche and nnsofor offer us, abslolutely nothing but dead brain football. I am really really ticked off.

Absolutely useless team, no fitness and no brain. clearly lacking ability, Argentina were there for the taking but we were shit, having only one goal on target at the 70th minute says it all.

Why does this negative and loser Nigerian mentality all over this news, why cant we just say the guy has trained hard, has a very good trainer or team of trainers, and he himself is an excellent sportsman.
Why are you all saynig he maybe on drugs or he is on drugs, just because we dont have this type of athlete in Nigeria or Africa as a whole because of corruption, bribery and mismanagement.
If we have a good government in plae and pluck our athletes from YOUNG, then gradually build them up like other countries do, am sure we will be wining medals in all these tournaments and not being cynical.

Jesus is the way, truth and light and no man shall get to the kingdom of God without him. you will not get heaven because you go to redeemed church or obey your pastor. i suggest you leave the church and find a place of worship, it is you faith that matters not the church you attend. your pastor is seriously abusing his poition as the head of the church. yuo are an adult and in uni, i believe you have the right to choose which church you want to attend and what you want to do. your education is far more important than the work you are forced to do in church, which you are doing against your will. the problem is you cant even report to any one becaue of the typical nigerian mentality that a pastor can not be wrong. you have two choices
1, keep getting abused by your pastor in the name of God and fail in uni,  or
2, worship our God in a different church and graduate with a very good degree.
but one thing i know is that God is everywhere, and not in redeemed church alone. good luck.

This is just another sorry case of money missing or stolen by these so called top officials. is it only me or our president looks and speaks like a RETARD. These sacked ministers should be investigated promptly and those that have absconded abroad should be repartrated back to face justice. these people get away with murder to the detriment of the average Nigerian No jobs, no education, no security, no power, nothing is working in that country and people are looting day in day out. Imagine pumping that 10 billing into Lagos state only, that will make a huge change. And again how to do spend money to lure in foreign investors? Gordon Brown is in Saudi looking for them to invest in Britain but i dont hear of him spending billions trying to lure or beg Them into investing in Britain. i am sick and tired of these people. and i pray Almighty God will give them the punishment that they duly deserve.

I think its a big disgrace parading these students on whatever form of media for people to see, top governnment officials are getting away with murder, and doing nothing for the people but looting the nation. Nothing is working in Nigeria but these people are buiding house after house for themslves, national money missing without trace and investigation, non functional police system, no education, power etc. these people are the real thieves and should be arrested, striped of every thing they have amassed and jailed for a very long time. from obj, to the local gov chairman that is stealing our money, to the new ministers or whoever. I am absolutely bitter about these people. Even if you wanna steal, at least do something for the country. how can a father tell his son not to steal when he himself is a thief that is the case in Nigeria. I wish i had it in me to commit murder, i will single handedly wipe out these people and make their lives miserable as they have been doing to us Nigerians for years. We need change, we need patriotic people, we need young educated people, not these old men that know nothing and the wind of change has passsed. i wish i can really express my anger and bitterness for people to see.

i think this story is untrue, and let me justify why i say that
1, immigration officials dont carry out searches for drugs, its the customs officers.
2, immigration officers will not threaten foreign nationals with deprotation if they are not searched.
3, how did the know that these women were nigerian nationals.
4, both internal and external drug searches can be easily carried out without you taking off your clothes
5, and even if they are gonna strip you naked, a consent form is signed stating that you agreed to the search and not a deprotation threat. common peps this is europe where noone is above the law. even immigration officials they can be sued and arrested.
6, we all know the press excalate stories sometimes.

i believe arsenal have what it takes to win the premiership this season, the teams looks stronger, the players are maturing hence physically stonger and they fight fo each other. the depature of henry is in a way good for the team because there is no more a player greater than the team which means these current players believe in them selves and encourage themselves when mistakes are made. so i believe arsenal will just clinch it.
