A civil society organisation named the Igbo Conscience Group (ITC), has urged Igbos to ignore the call by former President Olusegun Obasanjo for Igbo presidency in 2019. The ITC made the call on Thursday, January 26, charging people from the South-East region of the country to look unto 2023. Mr Onyekachi Ubani, Chairman of the group said in Lagos that such call was capable of causing political miscalculation on the part of the region that may lead to misunderstanding with other parts of country. According to Vanguard, Ubani said that unless there is a concensus from the people from the Northern and Western part of the country for Igbo presidency in 2019, then the Igbo’s should wait for 2023 before presenting candidates for the office. He said the Igbo’s should avoid political miscalculation that happened in the past which brought former President Goodluck Jonathan. “By now it would have come down to south and a southerner would have taken over and maybe we can maintain some level of fragile peace. “But we saw what happen for the six years that Jonathan was there. Now that crisis created is what President Muhammadu Buhari is also reaping from the south-south because the south-south people are blowing up the oil pipelines and all that. “So anyone now encouraging Igbos to begin to fight for the presidency of this country in 2019 is clearly trying to encourage Igbos to enter into unnecessary conflicts and create more crises for the nation. “Igbos should not in any way take that particular thing he has thrown at us because it may create crisis and create animosity for Igbos and even make Igbos not to have the opportunity of producing the presidency at the right time – in 2023. Obasanjo while hosting the Christian Association of Nigeria, Ogun Chapter on Tuesday said that the region has yet to produced a democratically elected president of the country. According to Obasanjo, the problem of marginalisation and justice has been a major source of conflict between ethnic and regional division. Reactions had trailed Obasanjo’s call for an Igbo presidency in 2019 from different Igbo group commending and rejecting the call. https://politics.naij.com/1084760-2019-presidential-poll-forget-obasanjo-igbos-wait-2023-itc.html

The vagina is an interesting part of the female body, not just because men can die to have a go at it, but also because it’s an organ that assumes a life of its own as a woman progresses in age, from birth till death. Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, Dr. Alyssa Dweck, says just like the male sex organ, the vagina also changes as a woman ages. The changes are absolutely normal, she assures. Naturally, vaginas differ. Individual body’s responses to natural phenomena such as puberty, pregnancies and menopause differ also. So, how does the vagina fare through the ages? Here… When you are in your 30s… Dweck says if you use birth control pills, by the time you enter your 30s, you may experience some dryness, probably because the pills prevent ovulation, hence disallowing you to have natural lubrication whenever you are ovulating. During pregnancy, your vagina may develop varicose veins. The weight of the baby in the womb is mainly responsible for this and it will clear after delivery. A healthy vulva is bright red, but this colour may assume a dark hue due to the hormones that your body releases during pregnancy. Depending on how the labour goes at child delivery, muscle and nerve damage can occur if the person taking your delivery isn’t skilled enough. So, always patronise good hospitals. As you enter 40s If you were fond of assaulting your pubic region by shaving off your pubic hairs all the time, now that you are in your 40s, you may notice unusual pigmentation in that area. Because oestrogen is getting shorter in supply because of your age, the hair may naturally start thinning out. You are perimenopausal now, so, you may start losing elasticity down there, and dryness is a lot more pronounced. In your 50s By now, the oestrogen begins to diminish more rapidly, causing you to experience thinner, less elastic, drier vulva and vagina tissue. Did you like sex in your 20s and 30s? Now you may start wondering how you survived it all, what with the fact that sexual encounters can now feel as if someone rubs sandpaper on your vagina wall or cause immense irritation. Your vulva steadily loses fat and collagen, making your vagina to shrink. The pH balance changes drastically, as the acidity of the vagina quickly sends the good bacteria packing, making you to be susceptible to infections. The vagina becomes less flexible at this age, and tears are a lot more common during sex if you are not well lubricated. In your 60s Menopause is fully here. Hot flashes and night sweats are regular companions and you need to work round them. The connective tissues holding the uterus, cervix, or even the bowels become loose, making those body parts to droop. In severe cases, those body parts may actually protrude out of the vagina, necessitating repair surgery. The bottom line: If you are worried about changes to your body as you age, see the doctor [img][/img] http://punchng.com/heres-how-a-woman-ages-down-there/?utm_source=&utm_medium=twitter

This is really disturbing and coming from a Senator from Ondo state is most disturbing then realising that his son and I were former room mates is heart breaking. Right from the time when he was the Commissioner for works in Ondo state I have never seen him make such an outrageous statement. All in all this APC government has to go. Maybe this nation too has to split... |

Madame Tussauds has unveiled its waxwork of President Elect Donald J Trump just in time for his inauguration. The newest waxwork of Trump in the Oval Office has will be on show at the London attraction just before the official ceremony on Friday. Artists have spent hundreds of hours creating the lifelike model, meaning there is now a phony model of the businessman, who famously accused CNN of making 'fake news'. He will join other famous figures including David Beckham, the Queen, Freddie Mercury and Darth Vadar in the famous halls of the star-studded building. Trump will officially enter the White House on Friday and outgoing president Barack Obama is today holding his final press conference at the residence. Barack Obama leaves with his popularity nearly as high as it was when he took office eight years ago. In poll after poll, the numbers are all flattering for the Democratic president as he prepares to hand over power to Republican Donald Trump. However, Trump's election has sparked protest all over the world and Spanish Femen activists demonstrated topless outside a waxwork in Spain this week when another model was unveiled. A women's march against Trump is also set to be held in London on Saturday. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4132324/Donald-Trump-waxwork-unveiled-Madame-Tussauds.html?ito=social-twitter_dailymailUK
