As the church celebrates twelve years of establishment, Iginla himself had been in the service of God for twenty-five years. With each year recording stunning miracles and other outstanding happenings from raising of the dead to miraculously opening the womb of a sixty year-old barren woman.

How Popular Pastor, Sunday Adeleja is trying to pull down Men Of God[b][/b]







Arguably one of the Nigerian pastors who was doing greatly in Europe is Sunday Adelaja, the founder of Embassy of the Blessed Kingdom of God for All Nations. He had one of the largest churches in the world and one of the highest number of members any pastor could think of.







Anything that has to do with a successful ministry was associated with him, he was the man everyone wanted to be like. Infact, he got to a point in ministry where he was involved in decision making in Ukraine and became a reference point for popular preachers in Nigeria.



He had a lot of followers online too, his live videos, podcasts, youtube videos were the talk of the town due to the kind of teachings he taught, they were glorifying and edifying to the spirit but in one way or the other, he singlehandedly invited the devil into his life and fell drastically from grace to grass and from the leader of one of the largest churches to a clergy without pulpit and thus because one of to the devils advocate attacking the real men of God.



His attacks on men of God however isn’t something shocking. For someone who has been drenched in several kind of sins ranging from fraud to deception, immorality,adultery and so on, he wouldn’t want to go down the drain alone but would want to drag other men of God with him and unknown to him, he is putting more coal to the fire of punishment that is being prepared for him.



All this didn’t just happened suddenly. As the saying goes, ‘Pride goeth before destruction’. One of the things that killed the ministry of Pastor Sunday Adeleja was pride. He had almost everything a Pastor should have but not humility. He was a hot cake then and placed himself so high against what the bible preaches. He began to attack Nigerian pastors and their teachings. He began to point out the wrongs in their teachings, he turned himself to a judge whereas, even the bible asks us not to Judge so we won’t be judged. He refused to take off the dirt in his own eyes first but busy advocating for the devil. His case is like kettle calling the pot black. He didn’t think about all these, all because of pride and according to the bible

"How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who have weakened the nations! "But you said in your heart, 'I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, And I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north. 'I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.'

"Nevertheless you will be thrust down to Sheol, To the recesses of the pit.’’



It all started with adultery scandal which erupted only after some women revealed the affairs to other area pastors, who made information public and initiated investigation.



Mr Adelaja, who earlier repeatedly denied being involved in sexual relationship with parishioners, was unfrocked and removed from leadership of the church, preaching, and counseling, according to the Russian Union of Christians of Evangelical Faith (ROSHVE).







The decision was taken after the US settled Apostle Tuff Ulissis, who performed spiritual care for Sunday Adelaja for several years, sent a letter to all the leaders in the “Embassy” that shed light on the gravity of the situation.







During the meeting with pastor Adelaja and his wife, pastor Bose Adelaja, Mr Ulissis found out that Adelaja confessed to having affairs with at least 20-30 women both single and married (and probably even more as he could't tell the precise number of victims) and repented of his sins but did it in perfunctory manner.







The clergyman also talked to women, both married and single, who told him about Adelaja systematically using various manipulation techniques, flattering words, and his own position to force them into sexual encounters.







In a letter Apostle Tuff Ulissis wrote: "All the stories were equally horrific, disgusting and depressing. People are very sorry about the current situation with the pastor and wanted him to have psychiatric help.







I made it clear that my aim is not to destroy either the Embassy of God, because many people have found help in the church or Pastor Sunday as a person. I wanted to make sure that everything has been done to these women and the couples have received care, reconciliation and redeeming restoration."







Interestingly, Adelaja's confession came one month after he shared a video on his blog titled “Sexual Sin Is Not Enough to Take You to Hell.” (now deleted) What is even more surprising is that the church has not issued a public statement regarding the case as an inside matter.







Meanwhile, Adelaja’s Facebook and blog are still active. By the way, he was also accused of being involved in fraud and the dealings of King’s Capital, a financial group led by a former member of his congregation. Adelaja is reportedly planning to move from Ukraine to Nigeria for some time.



However, after facing all these struggles which is the devil’s handwork, instead of asking for forgiveness and repenting, he went ahead and started attacking real men of God, looking for ways to drag them to the mud he is. Could it be depression or frustration?



The first Man Of God he criticised was the General Overseer Of The Redeemed Christian Church Of God, Pastor E.A Adeboye, he pointed out a mistake in his teaching and called him a lair



In a video published to YouTube, Adelaja replays a video of Adeboye lecturing on the subject ‘Sacrifice Overturns Wrath’ in which he quotes Psalm 41:1-3, using the Scriptural reference to encourage attendees to financially partner with his ministry.



“If you are a giver, when you are sick, God will visit you”, Adeboye is seen stating in the video, while reading out from the bible.







But Adelaja pointed out that Psalm 41 actually states, “Blessed is he who considers the poor; the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble”.



He explained that the context refers to giving to the less privileged, not to a church or pastor. The founder of Embassy of God described Adeboye’s interpretation as a “broad daylight lie. He is twisting the Bible just for people to give to him’’



Few days after Pastor Sunday Adelaja,the General Overseer of the Kiev, Ukraine-based Embassy of the Blessed Kingdom of God for All Nations, attacked Dr. Paul Enenche, the founder of Dunamis International Gospel Center. He accused him of using magic and rituals to perform miracles without any cogent proof, the church however replied him and asked him to face the many scandals hanging on his neck.



He also attacked The Founder Of Believers’ world AKA Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, The Founder Of The Synagogue Church Of All Nations, Prophet TB Joshua and accused them of faking miracles.



This kind of person should be likened to Satan who was sent away from the midst of angels in heaven and started tormenting the children of God and even at that, Satan’s sins wasn’t as much as this before he was sent off. Hence, Sunday Adelaja should be seen as the Devil’s master.

PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI PRESENTS "THE NEXT LEVEL" TO NIGERIANS[b][/b]

As campaigns for the Presidential and National Assembly elections officially kick off tomorrow, President Muhammadu Buhari has decided to first showcase his achievements and projections for the next four years to Nigerians before the official flag-off of the campaigns. The event for this presentation is tagged "THE NEXT LEVEL" which will take place at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa on Sunday, November 18, 2018, from 5pm to 8pm. How do you feel being shortlisted for the award in Nigeria?
I feel very happy and excited by the election to receive an honorary doctorate degree. I must admit, that it really came as a surprise.
What would you say stands you out to deserve the award by the organizers?
I would not be sure but only those who elected/nominated me would have an answer to that as I believe they have a criteria and certain qualities they look for. However, I suspect my election might have to do with my contribution and support for the work of the Lord and for religious missions. I am basically a servant of the Lord both in my career and in the body of Christ.
What motivates you or inspires you in life and in your chosen profession?
The greatest motivation and inspiration in my chosen career and in my life in general is to fulfill the purpose for which God sent me into the world. I discovered the purpose for my life early in my walk with Christ. Therefore, purpose serves as a strong motivation or inspiration to run the race set out for me diligently and faithfully to the end so I could boldly state as Apostle Paul did in II Timothy 4:7; “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith”. In a nutshell, my greatest inspiration is to fulfill the will of the Father for the glory of His Name.
What has been the secret of your success?
The secret of my success lies in trusting in the Lord and putting Him first in all I do. God takes center stage in my life and I trust Him with all my heart according to His Word in Proverbs 3:5-6. The Lord is my life.
You have become a force to be reckoned with, in a profession many believed is for men, how have you been able to overcome the hurdle?
I cannot beat my own drum but in my profession it is not always about how much physical strength one has. It is about hardwork, commitment, self-drive and a willingness to learn from others. I am the kind of person who does not want to be defeated by situations or people’s perceptions and whenever I encounter any challenge, I turn to the Lord who gives me power, wisdom and strength to overcome.
What informed your decision to join the Police?
To be honest, it is the Lord who guided and ordered my steps into the Police organization. For me it was not a conscious decision but a doing of the Lord. I guess I was attracted by the discipline, unique culture of the Police Service and a desire to serve the Nation in the capacity of a Police officer.
To every glory is a story to tell, what has been your greatest challenge and how have you been able to overcome it?
In life you inevitably will be faced with difficulties that can seriously challenge your confidence and faith. As a human being I have experienced my own fair share of challenges ranging from being despised by some of my workmates to isolation/alienation and rejection in my family as well as having to strike a balance between work and family demands as a wife and mother.
However, I thank the Almighty God for every challenge/hurdle that I have experienced for they have served as a catalyst to bring me closer to my Maker, i.e. to entirely trust and depend on Him in every situation. Through the challenges I have learnt to forgive, to cast my burdens unto the Lord and to appreciate every difficult situation that comes my way for the Scripture in James 1:2 says, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. In every trial or challenge God has always been faithful and given me victory.

Would it be right that this recognition of your exemplary life in your profession through this award will motivate you to work harder?
That is quite correct. The award will definitely motivate me to work even harder. I believe it will also serve as a motivating factor to other colleagues, particularly women Police to work harder in their respective fields of operation.
Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
Response
I am married with four (4) children, a daughter and three (3) sons. I am currently one of four (4) Senior Deputy National Commissioners in the Royal Eswatini Police Service (acronym REPS) and am responsible for resource management and support services. I have held various leadership positions within the organization ranging from being in-charge Legal Affairs, Support Services and Management and Administration. I have also served in various committees within Government but outside the REPS.
On the international arena, I have served as a founding member and Chairperson of the Legal Sub-Committee of the Southern African Police Chiefs Cooperation Organization (acronym SARPCCO), a structure of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and as a founding member of the Women Network Sub-Committee of SARPCCO, which is responsible for inter alia; advocating for women empowerment and career advancement of women through leadership training programmes, providing a strong support network structure for women Police within the SARPCCO countries and to champion service delivery and social crime prevention programmes by women especially related to crimes against vulnerable groups within society.
Academically, I hold an LLB Degree obtained from the then University of Botswana and Swaziland and a Master’s Degree in Public Sector Management obtained from Africa University, Mutare, Zimbabwe. I am also the holder of other certificates attained from various leadership courses including the Advanced Management Course at ILEA, Roswell, New Mexico, USA and the Next Generation of Africa Security Sector Leaders’ Course, Africa Center for Strategic Studies, Washington DC USA.

A scandalous video has been published appearing to show Governor Umar Ganduje pocketing a vast wards of American dollars in what was said to be bribe payments from public works contractors.

The Kano State governor could be seen collecting the dollars before rolling them into his white dress, “babanriga,” in one of a series of questionable deals allegeldly struck over a span of several months.

The first set of at least 15 clips in possession of online-based Daily Nigerian was published on Sunday afternoon by the platform.

The two minutes video was recorded in 2017 in what Daily Nigerian described as a sting operation aimed at beaming a spotlight on the governor’s alleged penchant for contract racketeering.

The governor has debunked the video as “cloned” and threatened a sweeping lawsuit against its publisher.

But PREMIUM TIMES’ graphics experts who examined the video corroborated the position of Daily Nigerian, which earlier said its internal and independent graphics analysts have authenticated the clips.

In the only video published so far, the governor appeared to have received $230,000. All the cash was hastily stashed in his “babanriga,” a native attire common amongst men of northern Nigerian origin.

Daily Nigerian said the $230,000 was part of a series of cash advancement to the governor in a total bribery deal of $5 million.

The published version was uploaded without audio, apparently to conceal the identify of the contractors from the public.

While Mr Ganduje would readily know those with whom he carried out the exposed deal, the contractors believed their safety would be better guaranteed if their personal identities that could otherwise be obtained from their voices in the video are stripped off.



PREMIUM TIMES saw the version of the clip with audio on Sunday evening.

“I think you should collect this money before anyone walks in,” one of the contractors could be heard telling the governor. “I think you should put it on your body to conceal it with your babanriga.”

A brief laughter then erupted amongst them. The video was reportedly shot in one of the living rooms at the governor’s official residence in Kano, the state capital.

“MD will soon be back from Istanbul on Friday evening to give us the other allocations,” the contractor added after telling the governor he had concealed a total of $230,000 in his babanriga for the day’s transaction.

The governor and the contractors also discussed carrying state lawmakers along in the deal, especially on how cash and stalls would be shared to them in the deal for the construction of a market.

The governor is said to have received up to N750 million (about 25 percent) in a deal of over N3 billion with a single contractor.

Mr Ganduje has denied any wrongdoing.

Daily Nigerian said it embarked on the reporting after receiving a slew of complaints from contractors who said the governor regularly engaged in shakedowns before awarding public projects.

Mr Ganduje strongly denied being the one in the video, calling the publisher a blackmailer and ordering the state attorney-general to commence criminal investigation and possible prosecution.

Jafaar Jafaar, an Abuja-based journalist and publisher of Daily Nigerian, told PREMIUM TIMES he has decided to take cover with his family following relentless threats to their safety.



Foremost rights group, Amnesty International, and the New York-based Committee to Protect Journalists have both expressed grim worries about Mr Jafaar’s safety, calling on both the Kano State governor and the Nigerian government to ensure neither the journalist nor his family faced any debilitating backlash as a result of his journalism.


President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered a thorough investigation after being shown the video by law enforcement authorities, Daily Nigerian reported.

The presidency is yet to make an official statement on the video. However, even if found culpable after investigation by anti-corruption agencies, Mr Ganduje, as governor, enjoys constitutional immunity from prosecution.

Mr Ganduje, 68, was elected governor as part of the wave that swept the then-opposition All Progressives Congress into power.

Like other APC politicians, in a mantra spearheaded by Mr Buhari, the Kano governor often lays claim to own frugal nature and incorruptibility.

Mr Ganduje’s video comes about five years after a video of a federal lawmaker from Kano was also made.

Farouk Lawan was leading a House of Representatives panel investigating illicit fuel subsidiary payments in 2012 when he was said to have received about $500,000 dollars in bribes from an oil magnate.

Mr Lawan, widely seen as a rising political star at the time, was seen receiving the cash from businessman Femi Otedola in the manner of Mr Ganduje.

Unlike Mr Ganduje, Mr Lawan acknowledged authenticity of the video, but said he was trying to use it to bait Mr Otedola and that federal authorities were informed beforehand.

Mr Otedola denied the claim, saying he was the one who set up the sting operation to expose Mr Lawan and his committee members who were demanding bribes from him even though his oil firm was not involved in any wrongdoing.

Mr Lawan, who was first elected to the federal parliament in 1999, did not return in 2015, and the case is currently proceeding in court.

The Managing Director of Heritage Bank, Ifie Sekibo, and his counterpart in Aso Savings and Loans Plc, Hassan Usman, are swimming in fresh crisis as the the House of Representatives on Thursday announced that it had discovered N21 billion and $104.46 million undeclared revenue in two separate accounts outside the Treasury Single Account (TSA) and consequently have summoned them to appear before the Ad-hoc Committee investigating TSA management, implementation and level of compliance.

The green chamber warned that the duo would be arrested if they failed to appear on a date to be communicated to them next week.

Speaking to newsmen in Abuja, Chairman of the committee, Abubakar Danburam, said: “Today, we are supposed to meet with Heritage Bank and Aso Savings with regard to the Treasury Single Account (TSA).

“As you can see, none of their management or staff is here. Our independent investigations have revealed that contrary to what Heritage Bank submitted to us, they also have two undisclosed accounts in the TSA.

“The one with Nigerian Export and Import (NEXIM) Bank has $104 million, while a second one with Nigerian Maritime Administration Safety Agency (NIMASA) has $46,000.

“Yet, there is another N21 billion, which also forms part of our enquiry. We want to know why they did not reveal those accounts to this Committee.

“We hereby give the Managing Directors of Heritage Bank and Aso Savings the opportunity to appear before this committee at a date to be announced later. If they fail, we will then issue a warrant of arrest against them.”

On Wednesday, the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) said it had uncovered about N9.8billion, realised from the sale of government houses in 2005 in Aso Savings and Loans Plc.

ICPC said the cash was yet to be remitted to government 13 years after the sale of the asset.

He said their love and support, which were shown adequately before, during and after the primary election will not be taken for granted.

Ayinde further stressed the need for a united front as the party goes into the general election against other political parties in February 2019. He promised that the campaign team will work with all the party leaders in order to bring into the campaign fold, all those who are aggrieved as a result of the House of Assembly and House of Representatives elections.

‘’we won’t allow the fallout of the House of Assembly and the House of Representatives primary elections to jeopardize the unity of the party.’’ Ayinde said.

He however promised to secure more than two point five million votes for Sanwo-Olu in February 2019.

In his remark, the APC governorship candidate Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu started by thanking members of the party in the district for accepting his candidacy in spite of the impromptu nature of entry and the short campaign period.

‘’you accepted my aspiration as impromptu as the journey was. We’re just starting, it’s a marathon and I can assure you that we won’t restrict the campaign to one location.’’ Sanwo-Olu said.

Sanwo-olu speaking on the disparity between the very rich and the very poor, promised that his government will ensure that it reaches out to everyone no matter how lowly they might be in the society.

‘’our government shall be a listening government. We will not condone wastage but will be fair to everybody. We will ensure that everyone is a participant in our government and will provide greatest good to the greatest people.’’ Sanwo-olu emphasized.

Leaders of the Lagos East Senatorial District, including Otunba Bushura Alebioshu, Senator Anthony Adefuye and Chief Olorunfunmi Bashorun pledged their total support for the governorship candidate, saying his emergence was nothing but divine. They however admonished the governorship candidate of the party to stay true to his promise to the district, when elected in February 2019.

The senatorial leaders also urged all members of the party to see themselves as one indivisible entity as the party goes into the general election next year.

Reportedly, wife of the Senate President, Toyin Saraki, was attacked by a pro-democratic group Kwara Must Change.The group’s president, Abdulrazaq O Hamzat said; “The attention of Kwara Must Change has been drawn to some fallacious claims made by Mrs. Toyin Saraki, wife of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, who claimed in an Instagram post that an imaginary project she referred to as conditional cash transfer took place in Kwara State during the administration of her husband.” Kwara Must Change, a pro-Democracy group in Kwara State hereby informs the general public that the claim of Mrs. Saraki is a fat lie, being told openly by the wife of a discredited man who has dragged many Kwarans further into the ditch, due to excessive mismanagement of Kwara’s common wealth and high level corruption.






Kwara Must Change maintains that, the only project executed during the administration of Bukola Saraki as Governor of Kwara State, was the domestication of poverty, endemic corruption and conditional poverty transfer, which effects we are still witnessing today. Peter Obi’s Spokesman exposes blackmail plot, dismisses bribery allegation

Interestingly, the Media Adviser to former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, has alerted the public on a sinister plot to rubbish the reputation of his principal through the sponsorship of false and malicious publications, especially in disreputable online platforms and the Social Media.



In a statement he issued in Awka on Wednesday, Valentine Obienyem identified one Ikenna-Ellis Ezenekwe as the arrowhead of the sinister plot, using his blog 247Ureports.com as the main vehicle for disseminating the false stories.
He cited recent libelous publications by Mr. Ezenekwe, noting that he did not bother to observe the basic journalism rule of contacting the accused to state his side of the story.





Referring to the latest of such stories alleging the offering of N10 million bribe to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, Obienyem said: “Ikenna Ellis Ezenekwe, a well known fraudster, lied that Obi gave 10 million Naira to PDP Chairman.





“Obi has not seen the PDP Chairman in the last 2 months, yet he reported how Obi gave him 10 Million Naira, which he rejected. You and I know that Obi can only give such an amount to schools!”





The Media Aide went down memory lane, recalling running battles with Mr. Ezenekwe, whom he described as a notorious blackmailer.





Recalling some of their encounters, he wrote: “I have had many encounters with Mr. Ellis Ikenna Ezenekwe in the past. In the January of Obi’s administration, he visited my office begging me to appeal to the then Governor Peter Obi to make him an assistant. He even wrote a letter to that effect, which is attached.

“At that time, I did not know that he was part of the delegation from ASA USA to monitor elections, but he left the group and pursued other interests. Till today, ASA USA is demanding the refund of the money with which they sponsored him.

“At a point, it became clear that Ikenna is a fraudster. He can do anything for money. He started Sahara Reporters with Mr. Sowore, but because he always went behind to collect money from people to work against his colleagues, they expelled him. Seeing what Sahara Reporters has become, one wonders what Ikenna would have been by now.

“He started Nankareports and people of Nanka revolted and he switched to Ukpaka reports, when it became notorious for blackmail, he metamorphosed into 247ureports. Meanwhile, his contemporaries have all moved ahead of him because he thinks he can build an empire on lies and fraud.

“Because of the type of live he lives, his American wife divorced him. He married a Nigerian without disclosing to her his genotype (AS), when they had SS child, his wife protested. The case was heard by their kindred and the pastor of their local church. The woman threatened to leave him, saying she did not know somebody could be fraudulent with his own family and future. His case was taking up by the Association of People Living with Sickle cell, using it to warn intending couples not to hide their genotype to each other. The same group fell out of favour with Ikenna, when he insisted they would pay for him to carry news sensitizing people about sickle cell in his site.

“At a time, he resurrected the news of erosion killing some people in his town of Nanka, an event that happened in 1974 and presented it as a fresh event. He colluded with the man involved in 1974, who lost his entire family . He got Channels’ people to interview the man and packaged the event as just happened. Consequently, the man was showered with relief materials and money. Obi visited as a Governor and gave the man N100,000 and materials and promised to relocate him to a safer place. Many organisations, even Scout and Red Cross organizations in the state visited and made donations. When the scam busted, Channel’s returned to the man who confessed he was acting Ikenna’s script. He said all the relief materials and money he garnered were shared with Ikenna.

“The most odious of Ikenna’s fraud was when he sent a text to me and said he was crying making the request of $10,000 dollars from Obi needed to treat his father who was dying of prostate cancer. He said I should not judge his past since it was a matter of life and death and begged I should just tell Mr. Peter Obi about it because, according to him, “Obi is a Christian with unlimited capacity to forgive.” I chuckled and said to myself, “So this man knows he has been unfair to Obi.” He sent another text directly to Obi.

“As predicted, Obi gave me the $10,000 for him. Later I came to discover that he sent the same text to all the Governors at that time and some of them might have assisted.

“As from the 30th of December, 2013, I started receiving text messages from one Ifeanyi Ezenekwe, Ikenna’s younger brother. He said he was desperately in need of meeting me. I cannot go into details, but when we eventually met in my office, he narrated to me how Ikenna used their father’s ill health to make money from politicians and how he did not remit one kobo for the treatment. He said their father mighty eventually die of broken heart rather than prostrate. Who would not be moved? He said he was having series of issues with Ikenna and that he was a victim of Kano riot. He used 08067432993 to send texts.

“A PHONE CALL FROM IKENNA EZENEKWE TWO MONTHS AGO

Since we left office, I have not spoken with Ikenna Ezenekwe, but two months ago, precisely on the 2nd of July, 2018, my phone rang repeatedly. When I picked, I was surprised it was Ikenna Ezenekwe. I have his 08083368888 but he used a new number to call me: 08136697979.

“Ikenna started with apologies over series of unpleasant issues between us. As usual, he said he was a changed person, and to buttress that, that I should hear him out. He went on and on telling me how Obi has turned out to be the best thing that has happened to Anambra State and how he would make a good president. He said it was an insult for those he was better than to chose him as the VP. After about 15 minutes of talking, I said to him that he should not worry since Mr. Peter Obi was not angling for any post.

“Further, Ikenna told me that a politician in the South-East vowed that Obi would never be considered for a VP position was about to mobilize them to launch coordinated attack on him by posting falsehoods about him. He said the offer was tempting, but that as a “born again”, his conscience was troubled. Upon all my persuasion, he declined to name those about to be mobilized with him.

“Knowing Ikenna as synonymous with fraud and mischief, I asked him how much. He said if Mr. Peter Obi could give then $50,000 dollars, that he would make the team to turn back on the offer and work for him (Obi). I told him that he should be aware by now, that it is only on medical condition that Obi would bring out such money. Off course, going by his father’s saga, that area is foreclosed.

“Subsequently, having realized that the old fraudster was at it again, I did not pick his calls.

“It was not surprising when, in the last three weeks, he started dishing out falsehoods against Mr. Peter Obi.

“Obi has not seen the PDP Chairman in the last 2 months, yet he reported how Obi gave him 10 Million Naira, which he rejected. You and I know that Obi can only give such an amount to schools!

“While we await more lies from Ikenna, it is pertinent that the public knows who he really is.”

SANWOLU, THE SERIAL BETRAYER WHO WANTS AMBODE’S JOB

The game of politics, especially the Nigerian variant of it is often enmeshed and tainted in the curious colours of subterfuge, ruse, lies, backstabbing and of course brazen betrayal, sometimes from some trusted associates. The truth however, is that those constantly engaged in it always find themselves holding the short end of the stick, after all their fruitless and self-decimating efforts. If only they knew that they would only have themselves to blame, at the end of all their scheming. But they don’t.

And one of such is one Mr. Jide Sanwolu, the former Commissioner for Training, Pensions and Establishment under the Babtunde Raji Fashola’s tenure. The investment banker came into government as a special assistant .. to the former Deputy Governor of Lagos state, Femi Pedro back in 2002.

But when Pedro defected to the Labour Party, LP ahead of the 2007 gubernatorial elections in the state, Sanwolu switched allegiance to the powers-that-be by betraying Pedro. He did this with the promise of a juicy appointment. On the other hand, the then Chief of staff to Pedro, who was similarly approached to cast aspersions on Pedro and betray his cause refused to play the mud-splattered ball. Yet, Sanwolu did and went further to cut off relationship with his former boss. That smirked of his low moral values but it was not going to be his last.

Eventually, he was rewarded with the appointment as stated above under the BRF administration, as promised. As fate would have it, his allegiance to his paymasters could not last long. When the cookie crumbled between Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and BRF, he sold the former out to the latter.

With BRF coming back for his Second Term in 2011, Asiwaju made sure that Sanwolu was paid back in his smelly coins. He was eased out of the cabinet and pronto he found himself gritting his teeth in political limbo.

Not done, he crawled back to the Tinubu camp through his wife Oluremi, kowtowing to her whims and caprices.If she went to the market Sanwolu would carry her bags. And if was to the church, did same. Betrayers, as the wise ones know hardly have scrupples.

In fact, in the run up to the 2015 governorship elections in Lagos state our man was one of those openly opposed to the governor’s political ambition. What did he not say? He went round claiming that Ambode was not from Lagos, forgetting the well-known fact that he is of Ijebu stock in Ogun state.

But without any iota of shame he began to lobby for another appointment when Ambode eventually clinched the coveted post. With a forgiving heart Ambode ensured that he became the Managing Director/CEO of Lagos State Property Development Corporation, LSPDC. He is still there as we speak.

Characteristic of him, Sanwolu is currently up in arms against his benefactor, displaying his crafty and sly nature, wanting to upstage Ambode as the next governor of the state. But can he succeed? No.

The good people of Lagos are too wise to hand over their collective destiny into the hands of a serial betrayer. As before, he will have his nails to bit sooner than later.

Prophet TB Joshua Splashes N2.4m on 80 Nigerian Deportees

Renown prophet and philanthropist, T. B. Joshua has put smile on the faces of over 80 Nigerian deportees from Libya.

We reliably gathered that On Friday, 31st August 2018, 80 Nigerian deportees who had just arrived from Libya arrived at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) in a dishevelled state where they recounted their horrific ordeals abroad after attempting to illegally travel to Europe.

Known for his compassionate nature, Prophet T.B. Joshua and the Emmanuel TV Partners immediately attended to them by hosting them and supported the group with N2.4m ($6,630) to help them start their lives afresh in Nigeria.

This elicitated wild jubilation from the deportees who were shocked by this gesture.
