Yorubas are more corporate, hence the reason why they are more officially inclined.

But by outright population, Igbos are more in number both documented and undocumented.
Undocumented in the US?, Lol. These ipobs sef.

Criminal marketers, 99.9% of them are not happy the refineries are coming back up.
PoliticsRe: Why Investors Are Running Away From Nigeria — Peter Obi by femisplash: 10:17am On Dec 08, 2023
Kossyso:
Ashamed of him being into importation business or what? Has the country stopped importing fuel? I really don't get you.
Stop the silly attitude, he's a criminal, he benefits from the system with his inside connection. He's one of those who brought the country to her kneels by his excessive thirsts for consumer goods imports. He has channels for cheap dollars and waivers benefits while ordinary nigerian groans of high rate. He makes a kill from the arbitrage system and that's why he'd never set up a factory. The same reason importers prefer fuel subsidy than fix the refineries.
PoliticsRe: Why Investors Are Running Away From Nigeria — Peter Obi by femisplash:
opamoses1:
Those importers are destroying the economy with their cheap commodies from China. P&G and Glaxo are also moving to an import based model to faily compete. I guess they will also import their products maybe from their India factories to be sold in Nigeria.

The government should have increased taxation on those importing all sorts into Nigeria.
Not only do they destroy pharma products, they also do destroy indigenous fabric business for us, they import fake indigenous prints from China and flood the markets at cheaper rates. Those guys are damn wicked, man!
PoliticsRe: Why Investors Are Running Away From Nigeria — Peter Obi by femisplash:
Kossyso:
Talk trash about PO till eternity, it doesn't affect him in any way and it won't stop him from sharing his opinion about issues bedeviling the nation.
Are you not ashamed that that Agulu fraud is one of the biggest importers of consumer goods for over 3 decades without no single manufacturing factory. Since working with Abacha as NPA's boss, he has been benefiting from the corrupt system to enrich his business, till today, that fraud has a chain of political networks that enable him shortchange the system for cheaper dollar rate for importation and waiver benefits. End of the day, he set up NEXT in PH and Abuja and nothing in Anambra, he has an headquarter in Lagos. He's a criminal.
PoliticsRe: Why Investors Are Running Away From Nigeria — Peter Obi by femisplash:
Can someone close to this fraud give him a slap and shut his hell up. This fraud shut down his NEXT company in the UK early this year, was it also because of perceived negative growth in the UK?.. This female look-alike of a man is the biggest hypocrite ever. Companies are going under in US, UK, everyday yet these countries keep moving. We have had big comanies as Dunlop, Mitchelin, Bata, etc, shut down in Nigeria, decades back YET Nigeria keeps moving being the biggest economy in Africa, a strong and resilient economy, all these shit doesn't scare us.
The fact being that these foreign companies operate their businesses in dollar value and take as much dollars they could from us back to their country, that's all they cared about.
Truth is, no country or business would ever ignore the biggest economy in Africa. As new sets of foreign Investors come in with big bucks commitments, there's better days ahead. Children of hate and the Agulu fraud will be left in shame.

Initially, they thought the GOC was from South East and was already making moves their stupid head-slaming genocidal act until it became clear he was a South west man. Even yelobas were also busy online garnishing the moves just set up the North against the igbos only to understand later it was one of their own that gave the command and everything died a natural death.
You can never see the igbos setting groups against groups for any reason whatsoever. If they are coming for you, they would come for you knowing that you provoke them
God is embarrassing the enemies of SW. You're setting fire on Major General V.U Okoro, ride on.
PoliticsRe: Foreign Investors Pull Out N310bn Assets, As P&G, Equinor Exit Nigeria by femisplash:
So what?, two foreign companies worth 310billion naira worth of assets scramed back to whatever hole they came from. These guys are here for the $$, not for you and i. To the ignorant folks, these guys operates their businesses in dollar value, they only care about the dollar and how much of it they can get from us back to their countries. Both foreign companies are 310billion naira in assets while First bank, one of our biggest banks is worth over 100billion naira, not to mention a few other top banks. Nigeria economy is going to be worth 1trillion in 7yrs, a gale of capital flight is never going to scare a big economy as ours. Decades back, big companies as Dunlop, Michelin, Bata, name them, all left and Nigeria keeps going strong. We remain the biggest economy in Africa. And with the right policies, FDI will keep trooping in like a river flow.

There's nothing royal here, he received a normal Presidential reception as was given to President Tinubu during his recent visit to UAE. A royal reception would have been a royal robe across the shoulder just as Messi was adorned at Qatar 2022.

Are you saying if it's petrol it won't count as export
Try get accurate knowledge before jumping on the subject. Would have been better if export was 82% of consumer goods.
PoliticsRe: FG Raises Exchange Rate For Cargo Clearance To N951/$ by femisplash: 12:22pm On Dec 07, 2023

The only way the Naira can be strengthened is for the CBN to raise interest rates. This will immediaty be beneficial.

In the long run, only an export or perish policy will make the Naira soar in value. Note: Too strong a Naira will harm export competitiveness.

Buy locally made goods will not improve the Naira value. You can even go furthe and successfully ban the importation of all goods services and the Naira's value won't rise. It may actually depreciate.
On the monetary side, you're right, however, on the fiscal side, government needs to protect local industries, not banning all importation as you have alluded.

The device you used to post this was imported.
The petrol they use to run generators were you pay to charge your device was imported.

Your Tinubu is borrowing another man's currency.

You are 'accusing' a particular set for importing. Do you know how much FG generates from import duty?

Dey babablu dey go.
College kids in Asian countries cobble together the phones imported, you look for dollars to bring these phones while college kids get paid, aren't you shameless?. it is corrupt minds like you that had deliberately sabotaged the refineries so they could keep importing fuel. No nation develops with 90% import dependency. This lazy and greedy mentality has to stop.

Look at that, cargo clearance. Y'all turned the country into a dump site with all kinds of junks being wasted on dollars, shameless wailers. During the election, they were screaming "from consumption to production" yet they are the biggest culprits of importation. Crying over another man's currency than to strengthen the local currency.
