Perhaps I'll take a slightly different point of view from what others have said above.
Did the prophet of doom force the hediot to sow his car as seed? He stupidly gave it to the prophet willingly, because he was gullible enough to believe the prophecy.
Did the prophet tell him he was going to burn/sell the doomed car? The hediot was stupid enough not to ask questions as to what happens to the car afterwards. He has ignorantly given the car to the pastor/prophet. No case of fraud here. If the prophet should get a very good lawyer that is able to proof his case beyond reasonable doubt that there is no case of fraud here, but that the victim gave it willingly, the worst that will happen is for the court to ask the prophet to return the car to the owner.

And to go and continue the false prophecies after returning the cars?

Beware of ponzi scheme, they won't hear. There is one currently going on in Lagos called Qnet. Its a pyramid, u pay 450k and still bring two people to pay same amount. My friend is already a victim.
