True , but the middle east and wesern nations are the real gold mine.

Even a paramedic here in Michigan earns about $6000 monthly in wages exclusive of extra hours clocked. And extra hours plenty die na your strength go determine 😎

Japa now, Nigeria is a wasted nation
How much do you pay for accommodation in Michigan compared to Nigeria, how much is basic plate of food in Michigan compared to Nigeria, how much do you pay for monthly utility compared to Nigeria. You people are always after the nominal value of these wages compared to the real value. Last time I checked the basic accommodation fee of a typical US city is 10 times or more compared to that of a Nigerian city. These wages makes only so much difference if you can be earning but spending it with Nigerian standard which is not possible. Flaunting the nominal value of salaries doesn't tell the real story

At the turn of the millennium we all thought that Africa is gradually turning a new leaf, building leaderships that are true representatives of the people, No before you know it gang of Criminals wearing civilian clothes are seizing power from the people everywhere. The Military has no choice but to still join the power Grab. Africa is gradually going back to 60's and 70's and 80's when it was power grab galore. We are irredeemable here.

I made a terrible oversight of not checking electricity bills before purchasing a house. It just completely escaped my mind till after purchase.

I just found out there's electricity debts of 500k unpaid to IBEDC.

How do I handle this?

I know it will be difficult getting such a negligent
previous owner to pay such bills. sad
Someone has actually sued NEPA for this kind of case and won them. The court ruled that you can't inherit NEPA bill in the house you bought or rented. If you have strength make case with them you are not supposed to pay a dime of that bill.

Solomon considered adonija's action as being covetous of the what belongs to the king's office....he not only wanted the girl, he wanted the throne.......its a treasonable offence..
..its Solomon's discretion to either put such a person to death or not...in my opinion...he would be stupíd to leave such a person alive...

.. however we are in mordern times that laws are different....even kings do not have final say over capital punishment....
So invariable many of the things in the bible are no longer acceptable today

Education in Nigeria is nonsense.. If you're a girl, focus on hook-up, if you're a boy, focus on yahoo/ritual, that is how smart people survive and live large now....As a parent, I'll advise you to start grooming your daughters for ashewo work from young age, this world is very hard and they might need the skill for when things get really tough..You can start by teaching them how to unwrap condom and wear a man, how to give proper handjob, how to handle three men at once, e.tc....As as for the boys, you can start by teaching them what Nord VPN is, how to collect wire transfer from foreign countries, how to hack Facebook and Instagram, basics of BEC fraud e.t.c.... Banking on education alone in Nigeria is a very, very risky gamble..
Some people may think you are mad in saying this but this is absolute truth because in 20 to 30yrs time, all the people scoring 9As WAEC, above 300 in JAMB will be nowhere to be found, the only people controlling things in this country will now be former Touts, former Drug Dealers, Former Scammers, former school traunts, school drop outs, former runs girl,. It is a jungle here, people who follows the expected rules gets nowhere, you get to a certain stage, you realise you have to break down the door or bulldoze the entire house to pass , you chicken out because you have been groomed to follow the rules

From a friend though

Am the last born in my family and there are too many ups and downs and wahala in my family because it was a polygamous home and my father was one of the man I mistakenly ever met on earth and unlucky for me he is my father 😭😢
So how I wish I should start my life with my own fresh lineage from my wife and children. Like I don't want to be part of the father tree again.

I gave birth 3days ago and I don't want my son to bear my surname 🤔 I want my own name to be his surname so my father lineage will be cut off
☹️

Please is there any future implications in this decision?
Or rather something bad behind this decision??

Thanks 😌
It is just superstition that makes you think the surname your children is bearing is going to affect them except in obvious case where the surname is a well respected and recognizable surname which can open doors or surname that has a very bad reputation. Let's say Obasanjo, Azikiwe or bad name like Anini. If your surname isn't like that, it is useless having sleepless name over surname. We all grew up to see some family turn from the turncoat of the community to the force of the community, some force of the community becomes nobody. Give your children the training and opportunities your father did provide for you and forget about names

I pity for people working for the Military and para Military in this country . When people like Asari Dokubo is given free pass to arm his group your life is at stake. The Government arms you to defend the country then goes back and give free pass to non state actors to import their own ammunition, you are on never ending war that will definitely consume your life

Family / Re: Who Are The Real Middle Class In Nigeria? by Ferdinandu(m): 10:52am On Jul 16, 2023
Nice2023:
The real middle class in Nigeria are individuals and families who have a moderate income level, typically earning between N500,000 to N10,000,000 ($1,200 to $24,000) per year. They often hold white-collar jobs in sectors such as banking, finance, education, healthcare, and technology. The middle class in Nigeria is characterized by their ability to afford a decent standard of living, including owning their own homes, sending their children to good schools, having access to healthcare services, and possessing some discretionary income for leisure activities and savings. They typically reside in urban areas, particularly in the major cities like Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt. The middle class in Nigeria is considered the backbone of the economy and plays a vital role in consumer spending and economic growth.
Kai which one be 500k per year middle class. Even in the cheapest cities in Nigeria 42,000 per month can't fall in middle class.Falling in middle class depends on the city you are living. The bottom line of middle class in Nigeria should be Maybe 1.2m in the cheapest cities to at least 3 million per year in places like Abuja. Truthfully speaking middle class is an endangered specie in this country, it is almost non existent, like my brother up there said we only have the top class, about to be poor and the poor
