All you people are so dull been brainwashed by charlatans. Covid-19 was never a hoax, it was a pandemic just like the Spanish flu of 100yrs ago that was later curtailed, HIV was it also but harder to curtail and others. The Useless pastor was doing podcasts and broadcasts daily to his Mumu followers like you that 5G was cause of covid-19 and you all believed him but today 5G is now ubiquitous, I'm sure even everywhere in his offices and home because he is so good at adopting new technologies to spread his deception and people are not dying of Covid-19. Mumben:
I saw a post on Facebook days back talking about experiences of people living in some neighborhood especially some estates in Abuja and everybody's I don't care attitude towards their neighbor and I thought to bring the topic here for your contributions.

A particular guys experience made me feel bad. He said he escorted his girlfriend who had come to visit him to the bus stop to board a taxi home. On getting to his compound gate, he knocked and knocked but no one came to open the gate even though he could see them through the small opening on the gate. Unfortunately for him, his phone was in his apartment and his girlfriend's family were calling him to inform him that the girl had an accident on her way home.

Las Las, he had to pass the night at a friend's place with only boxers and singlet he was putting on. On getting to his house Early the next morning, he saw a lot of mixed calls from the girls family, he called back and tried to explain but they didn't want to hear. He packed out of the compound one week later as he couldn't come to terms with the fact that his neighbours could be so mean.

Personally, I can't relate because some years ago in our former compound, I was in labour and my husband was not around, he called our landlord and he drove me in his car to the hospital. May God continue to bless him, he is such a good man

Share your experiences with I Don't Care kind of neighbours
Because of unnecessary disturbance from unwanted visitors,NEPA people etc, in my own compound if you like knock till tommorrow nobody will open for you, everyone has their key, if you like be reckless, that doesn't mean we are not good neighbours to each other

Politics / Re: Why Peter Obi Should Not Run In 2027 by Ferdinandu(m): 10:32am On Mar 29
gidgiddy:
Three Reasons Why I Will Advise Peter Obi Not To Run In 2027

I have known Peter Obi a long time, his village is just a stone's throw from mine. As a successful international businessman and billionaire, he returned from the UK in 2002 to aspire to be Governor of Anambra, which he did after a lengthy legal battle. Its not everything Obi did as Governor of Anambra that I'm happy with, but most Anambrarians will tell you he left the State much better than he met it. As 2027 approaches, no doubt Peter Obi will be under pressure to run again for President. If I were him, I won't run, for three reasons

1. 2027 has already been rigged. Let Obi learn from not just the last Presidential elections he ran in, but from subsequent elections in Imo, Kogi and Bayelsa, where elections were rigged with impunity. The by-elections were even worse. The 2027 elections will be brazenly rigged, and Peter Obi will be told to "go to court". Obi should also remember that he will be running against an incumbent who believes in "grabbing power and running with it", and has state resources at his disposal. So Peter Obi should spare himself the trouble over elections that the results have already been written

2. Even if Peter Obi manages to navigate the treacherous waters of Nigerian politics and wins, his troubles will just be starting. Obi does not know the Nigeria he wants to be President of, he does not know that 'one Nigeria' does not exist, and that some people will always see him as nothing more than an Igbo man and Christian. Those people are going to going to use propaganda, deciet, lies, insecurity etc to sabotage his regime from day one. No matter how well intentioned Obi might be, every move he makes will be turned into an ethnic, religious or ideological issue. Those who cannot bear an Igbo man being President will come after his regime like a hurricane. The result is that Obi will spend 4 years there fighting, if he is not thrown out before then, and achieve nothing.

3. Obi once said that Nigeria is like a car with a knocked engine, he was right. No matter how good a driver may be, he won't get far in a car with a knocked engine. Has Obi ever heard of a 'good Nigerian President'? No such thing has ever existed, or will ever exist. The driver is only as good as the engine of the car. No Nigerian President can do well. We are too divided along ethnic, religious and ideological lines to build a progressive nation. Everyone only talks about who will be the driver, few care about the engine, yet expect the car to take them to heaven. Who is fooling who? Some people like me advocate that we forget the driver, the engine and the car, disembark, and go our seperate ways. Some say no

My advice to Obi is to forget this cursed office of President and focus on his philanthropy. Obi will touch more lives and help more people this way. Until a time when people start taking the engine far more seriously than they take who will be the driver, the office of President will destroy whoever goes in there, and Obi should stay away from it.

My 2 cents
Whatever your opinion is, all I know is that it is only a coward that gives up easily, if he can, he should still try again. As a Nigerian I will never stop clamouring and fighting for a change in Leadership of this country as we have it till my last breath and everyone Nigeria should adopt that mentality, if we can't split the country up as it is for now we should all keep on fighting the Demons holding this country down and you should adopt that mentality for them to know that we can't abandon this country to them. As we age we will raise more warriors who will be a torn in their flesh. Don't give up on our dreams to vultures

Family / Re: My 13 Years Old Has Become Terrible! I Want To Send Her Back To Nigeria by Ferdinandu(m): 11:43am On Feb 24
Mrperfecto:
I will just be brief without writing too much.

We are based we have 4 children, my first child is 13 from my previous relationship, she has become very terrible, she doesn't listen to me or my wife. She tells her that she is not her biological mother and she cannot control her. She had threatened to call the police on my wife telling her if she touch her she will fight her back and call the police. She goes to school and closes at 3.45 her school is 10 mins walk from home, but she is always late for home.

She comes home around 6 sometimes 7pm , as I am writing now every friday she closes at 12.30 but she is still hasn't come back home yet.

I am on my way to work. I start at 6.30pm till 2.30am so I rarely get to see her and she only misbehaving when I am not around. So far we have seized her phone because we had found so many inappropriate messages exchanges between her and boys. We had also removed the TV from her room and her behaviour has gotten worse. She is behaving like she's possessed.

My wife and I are fed up. Even her siblings are tired of her. We want to send her back to Nigeria maybe in a boarding school until she is 18 in order to protect her younger ones. If we keep her and she continues with her terrible behaviour I may beat her badly and we may end up loosing all 4 children to the authorities.

Please what advice will you give to me concerning this issue?
If you can put a secret camera in your house that can record both audio and video, monitor what transpires between she and your wife while you are usually away because I don't trust women with children not their own. Her rebellion is likely because of discrimination she has noticed between the treatment her step mother gives to her and the one she gives to her half siblings especially while you are away . She now develops jealousy that her own biological mother is supposed to be your wife because obviously she wasn't getting the full mother daughter vibe with your wife. She needs a lot of love at home to make up for the absence of her own biological mother not harsh treatment. If a child doesn't get the full love at home, she is likely going to start looking for it outside and it is the fake love that young boys and Adult Predators offers that she is going to use to compensate the lack of home love

Politics / Re: The NTA Did Not Ask General Gowon To Speak In Hausa by Ferdinandu(m): 8:01am On Feb 23
naptu2:
There was a report yesterday that the NTA asked General Gowon to speak in Hausa. I'll quote it.

This is not true. What actually happened?

General Gowon visited President Tinubu and after meeting with the president, he spoke to journalists and said something interesting.

He said that a report had circulated that Ecowas asked him to give a press conference about the situation in the subregion but he refused. He said that the report was not true. He said that there was some miscommunication, but that he was going to do the press conference that evening. Here is a video of Gowon's visit to Tinubu and his statement after the visit.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jJiQHJhbpU?si=OEUys95iRA97Hiyx

The reason that General Gowon was asked to do the press conference is because he was one of the founding fathers of Ecowas.

General Gowon had the press conference at the Ecowas Headquarters and seated beside him was the president of the Ecowas Commission, Omar Touray.

The General read a letter that he wrote to heads of state in the subregion and he asked those that wanted to leave Ecowas to come back. He talked about their reasons for founding Ecowas, etc.

He then gave the letter to the president of the commission and asked him to give it to all the heads of state.

After giving the letter to Omar Touray, the MC asked General Gowon to translate it to Hausa. Hausa is the most widely spoken langauge in Niger Republic, one of the countries that wants to leave Ecowas. It is also spoken in Benin, Togo, Ghana and other countries in the region.

However, General Gowon said that he wasn't told that he would have to translate the letter to Hausa and that for 8 or 9 years he has only spoken English and that he can't remember how to speak it. Here is the full video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnzX6bsMRgQ?si=_z3iYuYuZyGyFjxy

It was the Ecowas MC that asked General Gowon to speak in Hausa, not the NTA.

Ecowas knows that Gowon used to speak Hausa, but they didn't know that he has stopped. Here is General Gowon giving an interview to BBC Hausa and he spoke in Hausa here:

https://www.facebook.com/share/v/4rJY7jV3dkivrpaB/?mibextid=gtsPdC
Gowon is from one of the minority tribes in the North who has been tired of been labelled Hausa/fulani North. Telling him to speak Hausa brought back those bad memories. It just confirmed our held belief that the Idea of one North has been dead a long time ago

My friend shut up if you don't know anything. Stock go up and down in every country, stock crash, but the major difference is that most people whose company crashed loose most of their wealth in the crash but in the case of Nigeria, if that guy tables the companies he bought those shares, you will realise that the owners and promoters of those companies are one of the richest in the country today. It is just scam that is going on in Nigeria not stock trading.
