For clarity sake, would want to know the preferred format for CVs when sending to a recruiting firm via E-mail. Is it okay to send it in Msword format or in a pdf format.
Also when the hard copy is being requested for, which would do?
I read that the pdf or jpeg format isn't acceptable by all.

I'll appreciate authentic replies.

People use pdf for guarantee. No one wants all their hard work (formatting /tables /arrangement etc) to be badly miss arranged if the recruiter is using a different Ms word.

With pdf it's always as you intended that's why it's the best.
NOTE: It only becomes a problem when the size is too large, most recruiters might frown at it.

Word on the other hand is usually small in size. That's why most people prefer word. But if you are to use word use .doc that's 1997-2003 format because all recent ms word can read it just fine unlike you using the 2013 version which 2010 can't open.

Totalgist if you get called for an interview is it a must you take your certificate with you?

Will they ask you to present your certificate during the interview?

Simply let them know your certificate is not ready. You may tender your statement of result for the time being.

Hello all, I have an urgent question. Take for example a fresh graduate who graduated 3months ago and dosent have his certificate yet, although the certificate will be ready next month (january) He applied for various jobs online and got a Genuine invite for an interview on wednesday.

My question will He be asked to present his school certificate in the interview? and is there any way he can spin it?

If u know u wanna do sumtin shady wit ur line will u register it wit d correct info? So u c it can't hlp. Even the account am sure was opened wit a false info (fake name nd address in drivers license + an old deliberately ugly pix that won't be recognized ).

And the OP shouldn't be worried coz a scam like this can never work. Only an extremely dumb person will borrow a friend money with only conversation on Facebook. Probably he's after something else.

If he's a smart scammer (which he might be) asking for money from ur friends might not be wots he's really after (that's just a decoy, a small pawn in a larger scam plan) just be careful OP, because you never know when u might jam a really smart strategic scammer.
