The most important thing in the end is that we are part of the lucky ones.
As soon as I get info, I will drop. At the moment, I have dropped all I got.

I’m so sure of the email. Text messages and portals could be used too but the email is what I heard. Secondly, before the 10th of June is what my source said, when I told him 10th of June is a Sunday, he said that’s what he knows. I can’t drop some info here Cos of the weight of it. I just pray all of us will smile in the end

GM Fellow hopefuls. For emphasis sake I wish to tell you it’s before the 10th of June. It will drop in your mailbox and DPR will surprise a lot of people who doesn’t believe a lot will get this on MERIT.
NB- Having a source doesn’t mean I have a godfather o, I’m seriously praying it’s going to be merit based o.

FCC doesn't need to call anyone. One or two staff in FCC will tell one or two people that they are successful. A will tell B, B will tell C, and so on. That's how it happens all the time.

You're free to stand with any date you choose. Nobody is pulling you away from where you stand. We'll see, we'll know.

Did you hear anything during the last FIRS recruitment until they started calling the successful ones?

There is no special info in these 11 points.
Anybody that doesn't know Nos 1-8 is just a loafer. These are known even before the test.
Nos 9 - 11 are not anyone's business.

For those dragging whether list is in FCC or not, note this: any time the list reaches FCC you would know and at least 15% of those here would be able to check if their names are there or not. It is usually not a secret.

Are you aware it’s NOT a must for FCC to call few successful ones to confirm their origin? I stand with my fact “before the 10th of June, the list will be out

What of a scenario where you are the highest in geology, but in your State many candidates scored higher than you, howbeit, in different disciplines.

The stuff is complex. Honestly, I don’t know which takes more priority, scores or state quota.
But I think it’s a competition between you and people from your state.

Hello,

Do you have any info on number of geologists they intend to recruit? Thanx.

No I don’t but what I heard is that State quota is another factor. Like when a fellow geologist scores more than you, you might still be picked by the virtue of yu being one of the highest scorer in yur state and the fellow who scored more than you could have people who scored more than him in his state.

I think the guy told us how he arrived at his conclusion?
Moreover, at this stage, who got the highest number of slots does not matter as much as who made the cut.
Let's just hope that this time around the info is real.

Thank you. I’m EH and I’m restless Cos the number of EH is not up to 100 according to what I heard

When I said Civil Engineers will be the highest professionals that will be taken, it doesn’t mean other professions won’t be well represented. It simply means we will have more Civil Engineers than other courses even if it’s by just 1. It’s what I heard and I felt at this time, there’s no need hiding infos again since the list is ready. I know a lot of people will disagree with me but pls let’s agree and disagree with respect for each other. Thanks

I just want to learn and know more... Why do you think Civil Engineering is prioritize ahead of other courses like Mechanical, Electrical and Chemical engineering... Can you please enlighten me a bit?

Firstly my source told me. Secondly, during the interview, one of the interviewer unconsciously mentioned it. Lastly, many Civil were invited for the interview, hence my submission. But Engineering generally takes the bulk of the job

I think i should state these facts:

1. 300+ made merit list
2. There're slot for special candidates (very few)
3. This is to reaffirm that the total number selected is 400.
4.Test and interview score not the only yardstick.
5.Federal Character is the major yardstick. (All states have fair slots)
6. Some candidates were favoured because of the position they applied for (Engineers Prioritised)
7. This is one of the fairest recruitment ever.
8. Pls let's be realistic, so many candidates didn't make it
9. I've been a lowkey follower since I left this thread
10. I reactivated my account to give useful updates
11. Even though the hour is here- prayer is still very much needed!

You just mentioned everything my source told me honestly. I said it before the interview that Engineers especially Civil will take a lot of slots. State quotas was highly considered. The list was supposed to come out in March but strong people wanna hijack it. Kudos to the mgt of DPR who stood their ground. Didn’t want to post this before but just to echo your facts

From your past posts you mentioned working with an organization that liases with FCC. So maybe we can hope on the dates you just gave. We await lol.

Actually you were correct about when we would be called for interview too. So we can only hope and pray before June 10.

Actually I don’t just say things to please people or douse tensions. I think ever since the interview stage I have never posted anything here. But I’m saying this on good authority that before the 10th of June, successful ones will be contacted and will resume in the same June. Thanks

Greetings fellow hopefuls.
I been trying to press my source to get some Intel throughout the week, but sadly there's no much. Here are some Intel.
- The list is dominated by engineers.
- Average number of applicants selected per state is 7. Some states have more some less.
- Every state have some slots
- A state from North Central has the least number
- State from the SW have the highest number.
- There's nothing on ground yet as regard to when exactly they will contact the successful applicants.

More updates will come tomorrow. Good night.

I think you are right about Engineers being the highest considered. An interviewer unconsciously said this while interviewing me

I'm 100% sure of what i said. I wouldn't know if this does not have anything to do with the much awaited list... My friend just got an appointment with DPR . He wrote their test in 2016.
Of course, the awaited list test was written last year, so don't use my friend's own to determine your fate. My friend is actually with them now.. He started barely two weeks ago....

Maybe he applied with OND and they resumed on the 19th of February.

Lol bro, it doesn't work like that.
This is just the basic salary.
Your annual salary whether Gross or Net (after deducting Tax, Pension, Housing Contribution and so on) is not only the sum of your basic salary. There are other allowances like Rent, Transportation, 13th Month and so on. So all this add up to the Total Annual Salary.
**Most likely, they will pay the allowances upfront like it has been stated here times without number.

So let's assume her info is accurate.

Your Total Annual Salary as GT 'could' be. (N.B: I said could... Just using it as an example ooo)

Basic Salary - N133,000 * 12 = N1,596,000
Transportation Allowance = N150,000
Rent Allowance = N500,000
13th month = N67,000
Total Annual Salary = N2,313,000.

Hope you get it bro?!

Please note, these are just fictitious figures.

13th month is always a full month salary without tax and pension deductions

Confirmation in the federal civil service is after two years. Upfront does not depend on confirmation; it will be paid on pro rata basis since you did not start from January. You are also entitle to First Twenty-eight Days in Lieu of Accommodation. Gentlemen and Ladies, from the start you will be smiling to the bank. I wish you all goodluck. grin grin grin

Your info is very correct. I presently work in a Fed Govt Commission. Confirmation is 2 years and there is inconvenience allowances called 28 days. Our commission is 12k per day multiply by 28. You are spot on

Honestly I must commend your maturity. Are you GT or EH?
