WAS IT NOT AN INSULT when you call people like marvel and xtruzz liars just cos they were giving infos that hasn't come to pass or people like me and some others deceits and stakeholders candidates cos we were against the protest and publications. How about that?? |

NigerianAvenger: You have a history of not being able to properly pass your message without resorting to name calling. I don't see anybody complaining about the lack of info as all the ones that were dropped since September did not change anything. You can join the queue in Xtruzz's pm if you don't know how to control your anger over the lack of info on the thread. Firstly, can you please give me instances where I called people or anyone derogatory names here? Secondly, I don't mince words just to soothe egos, the meaning will get lost on transit. Hypocrisy is an action and people who perform it are hypocrites |

Even if dey re not ready 4 d new intakes in d 2nd batch to resume, dey can at least contact them so that the rest can 4get about dpr and move on with their lives.... Do you know patience is a virtue? Come to think of it, they have no obligation to get across until they are ready to contact the successful ones? We are expected to wait, even if it takes longer than expected. In as much as we haven't been communicated to that the recruitment is over, we don't have a point hastening them |

Pls Marvel, Xtruss, and co, for our sake if you have any vital information for us, do not hesitate, don't mind whatever you might see or read here, it's part of the sacrifices of leading. Thanks so much in advance. Even if they were feeding us with lies, some of us are still wise enough to sieve their words and bring out points that can give us direction. |

It's very very easy. For those that want to protests and do publications, I don't understand what you are still waiting for. I don't expect you to chicken out simply cos people ask you to put your names and ref no. This is a public forum, opinions will always differ and if people don't support your choices, you start saying they already have their APLs, they belong to SH or they have checked their names. That's total rubbish. You expect people to stay around and give you infos so that you can continually insult them? HYPOCRITES !!! When they leave the forum, you will say they were planted just to give fake news. What exactly do people want? |

BrockSamson: Peepydelano, Takon231, Ferguson0709 et al are not yet satisfied. These monikers have been on this trend since day one; so lets respect their choice. It's not as if I'm not satisfied with the publications. The fear of the unknown is just the problem. I know there's a second list but the problem is the content of that list(SH or Merits). You know we will be jeopardizing a lot of chances if it's the latter. I'm just having the feelings Marvel is giving us the right info, hence my continued wait. I'm in a state of dilemna... That was why I think it's a personal choice for everyone, I prefer to wait but I won't stop people from protesting or the publications. I'm not an authority here. Honestly you can go ahead if you feel that's the right thing to do. BLESS |

BrockSamson: By now Xtruzz you should know your target audience. If you want you can create a WhatsApp group for them, so you can fill them with all false hope necessary for them to be soothed; please by all means go ahead.
Please note my “cohorts and I” are not waiting for any information from you. Did you come here to tell us anything when 400 slots disappeared now leaving about 184 slots for the common man (which is now uncertain if its going to get to them). Thank God we heard it from Marvel65 himself, the 400 slots had less than 10% merit.
We know the people we want to satisfy with our current with-held action but I am sure DPR won’t disappoint. For those that have gotten in through other means and think they have landed in DPR safely; so they come here anonymously to try to derail us, I really hope you have safely landed the job at the end of all this. Arrogance will not kill you. You are an employer's nightmare |

Marvel65: The successful applicants are meant to receive APLs this month. Mr. A. R. SHAKUR hasn’t given his staff the go ahead. There’s a good reason for the delay.
In the same way, He has delayed the promotion of staff to management levels. The promotion exercise which commenced November, 2017 was concluded last month. Those that passed the interview last month are still awaiting promotion.
You will hear from them soon. Never in doubt. Thanks Marvel |

Polchiz: I am just laughing. Sir Ferguson, the publication is the best option now. It seems you have already checked your name and you are sure that you are successful.
What happens for those who are just waiting hopelessly?
When exactly will they release the appointment letter? Today? Tomorrow? Next month? Next year? Next ten years?
And Marvel65 has disappeared which implies that his job is over. Well let me burst your bubbles, I haven't checked my name anywhere and I'm not interested in checking. I'm an EH hopeful. It's so important for you to know that I'm presently on a fed job too and it pays very much but not as much as dpr. For me, dpr is not a do or die affair, God has really helped me in life. I will rather move on. I have always believed that whatever belongs to me will never elude me. If it's meant for me, no manipulation can hinder it. I'm not against any protests or publications, all I call for is patience and let's give them the benefit of doubt. Who am I to even stop your proposed protest? It's your money, it's your decision. But take this from me, it's not possible for DPR to employ all of us. There will always be some aggrieved lots. I promise to donate 50k for your publications only if you can put your names and reference numbers |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Department Of Petroleum Resources - 2016 Graduate Trainee &experienced Hire Job by Ferguson0709: 1:49pm On Oct 22, 2018 |
Dear BrockSamson, I want to raise few issues here and I want you to objectively and critically look at every angles to it. 1. Not all those interviewed will get the job 2. It's not possible for a recruitment of this magnitude to be 100% merit except if we want to deceive ourselves, if I'm wrong Buhari's daughter will not be in NNPC and those who voted for him running after NPower 3. Not everyone objecting your protest has a godfather or is an SH candidate. Some people still want to give DPR the benefit of doubt, hence, their persistence. 4. Majority of hopefuls here depends on Marvel's info cos they believe he's in the know and he said the new list is imminent. Reason why people are asking you to back down on your alleged protest. 5. If you still think you have been cheated and the protest and publications is the best way to seek redress, kindly go ahead with it. I wish you all the best, who knows it might be for our own good in the end. BUT please make sure you explicitly explain that this action is a decision of you and some others and kindly be bold enough to put your NAMES AND REF NOS there. Good luck my friend |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Department Of Petroleum Resources - 2016 Graduate Trainee &experienced Hire Job by Ferguson0709: 6:50pm On Oct 20, 2018 |
Good evening everyone. Please stop telling people not to protest or do any publication. Infact they can start the protest tonight, it's a free world and let anyone who's interested in the protest join them. The most important thing is if destiny has it that you will work in dpr, nobody can change that, not even Mr Shakur or anyone. But I know most of you are doing all this for your selfish gains. Get your letter today and you will automatically forget abt the protest or any publications, we know of someone who has done that before. Please make sure you write down your names, sign and put down your reference number in all the publications. Let them know it's not a collective effort and that it's a personal fight. I remembered your freedom fighter sent me the merit list then and ask me to post cos he has been banned from commenting on NL, I vehemently refuse to do that. Where is he today? Gotten his APL and gone AWOL. My number is on the so called merit list,. If dpr likes they shd call me and if they like they shd replace it, it doesn't change Gods plans for my life. I look forward to seeing your publications in most newspapers and TV stations. Good day |

Good day everyone. I'm not against anyone carrying out any form of protest but what will be the basis for this? Is is that we saw our names and we have not been called? Or that we were successful in the test and interview? Who showed us our assessment results? Who told us we did very well? Who told us those that have been called are not deserving of it ? What are the proofs we have? The leaked merit list? Is it authentic from DPR? Those are some of the things we shd think abt before taking decisions. I for one had moved on and forgotten abt DPR not until a source told me last week that the new list is imminent....my candid opinion is we shd still chill and believe what marvel have been passing to us over here. Someone told me he's 100 % right Thanks |

Originakalokalo: I posted this sometime in June or early July.
People condemned it.
Now let me post this as again:
THERE IS NO SECOND BATCH.
guys on naijahotjobs waited for second batch from 2013 to 2017 simply because they didn't want to let go.
There will still be pockets of calls to the candidates of the high and mighty....
This is usual. All agencies recruit on daily basis. It depends on who you know.
It only take a CV to type an appointment letter. Test and interview are just processes.
there is nothing like second batch.
Move on with your life.
God will help you. Okay but there's no crime in waiting. So im waiting and expecting |

suchsland: This is very true. From what I was able to gather, a large number of recruits have not been contacted. As a matter of fact, candidates from some specific states have not been called (e.g Osun, most of Ekiti and some other states), with the exception of SH candidates from those states. Why DPR chose to use this irregular, of-and-on pattern of calling successfuls is beyond my understanding. But, be rest assured, more people (GT & EH) will be contacted. You are so correct. I know of Ekiti not been contacted yet. If you make the merit list, you will be called. Just chill |
