On the CGI portal there are two buttons for getting dates: one is for those who have been previously denied a visa in the last 6 months while the other button is for fresh applicants. You can’t book an appointment under the fresh applicant button if you fall under the previously denied category. That would amount to lying and their is a statement to this effect on the CGI portal.

Some days ago, I was denied visa at the US consulate Lagos. Now, I want to reapply for another appointment date at the Abuja embassy but the CGI page is showing me that my passport is still at the US Embassy/Consulate. I don't know what this means because I have my passport with me.
Also, it is showing that there are currently no appointments available. We are in the same condition. Please update if you latter see date ooo
Please, how do I book for another appointment date before the resumption date of my school in August?

if I chose regular it is 12months space of non denial, how do I want to justify the two months time?

I don't know where u pipo got this your six months from, have u not read of people that got denied in Dec and went for another interview by January or February and got their visa approved?
