I look at 4H/D1 for sentiments and enter trade on H1 with 5pip TP and zero SL.
But my mental SL is about 200 pips,
I use a recovery and protective method to secure my trades.
My trade can go from 1 hour to 3 weeks depending on how the market shake body.

I have spoken of my strategy more than twice before.

When i make money is when the trades goes against me.
It quite unorthodox that's why i don't speak about it.

I won't be speaking about it again though, i would just keep posting results weekly as usual. And come next year, i would be posting withdrawal alerts as well.

The daily DD is just about either adjusting your SL daily or reducing your lot/risk.

Though I'm a very Conservative trader i haven't even reach 1% overall DD yet.

Beating the 5% DD isn't something difficult,
Na only gamblers dey fear the daily DD

Nice one boss, but I think given the person freedom to choose if they want the money cash or if they want a sponsorship for prop firm account will be better, the reasons why I said so is because i have seen a profitable trader that failed FTMO challenge twice, when I asked him why he failed despite been a profitable trader, he said the FTMO challenge rules does not favour his trading style, it was then I realize that u can still fail prop firm challenge even if u are a profitable trader


So, for this reasons I think it will be more better to give the winner the freedom to choose if he/she want the prize as cash or want sponsorship for prop firm account

If you don't like the rule,
Then don't partake,
Money cash ko, money order ni,
You too do a competition and give money cash.
If you ain't cool with that, then do broker contest where they give you cash.

The challenge is meant for Prop standard trading,
You can choose not to participate,

I have been extremely busy studying charts day & night, doing some extensive/intensive digging of the market. Now, I can say I'm fully operating in a realm that I have never operated in my decades of trading career.

I have now completed both the US$200K challenge (stage 1) and verification (stage 2) of the prop firm TCF. I will now count 6 more days to make up the minimum trading days (10). By the 17th of December, 2021, TCF should provide me with a US$200K live account to start.

This with my US$100K FTMO makes my total trading capital US$300K

seems u don't get it, the way they calculate their own dd. Even if the sl is set at 2% u can still be caught violating the rule by the time ur trade is in huge profit and price retraces because it's not everyone that close trade at the sight of big profit.

You can be in floating profit of 5% and then it returns back to BE but then it counts as - 5% DD.

What you are saying is just theory,
There's no way you can have 5% DD in day, if you ain't doing something funny,
Like how can you have a 5% DD in a day, like how.?.?
I understand in swing there can be retractments,
But you see, your issue lies on greed,
You want to use one trade to get 100% in 3 weeks
Please study your trades more.

If you are profitable, this risk management is not an issue at all.

Adjusting your risk isn't a big deal at all, unless say you wan dey gamble.
If you already make 5% in floating, and you want more, then you are just plain greedy.
If it goes back to BE, then you shouldn't be trading prop.

It's just common sense to adjust your SL to your current floating risk.
I don't have to tell you this if you already know what you are doing or an actual swing trader

Imagine opening a swing trade that I will hold for like 3 weeks or more, and price don't move in straight line, by the time reversal set in one maybe violating the dd rule. Dd rule that is based on equity (capital + the floating profit/loss).

It's simple
Set your overall SL less than 5%
Cherry pick for best setup,
It's not that difficult if you are already a profitable trader.
Swing SL is quite easy to determine

No be 100usd account wein you go dey get pressure on top again.

Just read the article about it,
It's more of a practical thing than theory,
I don't know why traders always like to target the edge of the DD
It's quite simple to beat though, just trade at most 1.5% of trade, worst comes to worst, the trade would go 3%.
1% a day profit everyday is about 20% in a month.

I don't even risk up to 1% per trade sef.

So all these DD talk is just greed talk,
Limit your exposure to at most 1.5% on all open trades, you should be fine.

Them give una 30 days to meet target
Una hand never strong, una go wan dey compete with pros and want to achieve in 2 days,
Money wein you know as you struggle get am, you no go humble and get it right.

Some people trade fx like their life is on a countdown, like if they don't make it within certain period that they will die or something
