Because during my backtesting im still having 3 to 5 loosing streak but the strategy is profitable on the long run. I'm looking for a way to reduce loosing streak to 2, is that possible?? Still a humble learner

There's different ways to manage losses,
I would list a few in bo particular order.
1. Filter your trades more,
And if its still not avoidable
2. Lower your lot size to accommodate for the losses.
3. You might need to refine your SL to either tighten or widen to accommodate for more drawdowns.
4. Removing a low probability trade pattern


For me personally,
My system pattern is trading counter trends, pullbacks and breakouts
I noticed breakouts was going to be giving me problems.
I immediately remove it and focused in the other two.
That's what works for me.

To this minutes, I still wonder what keeps Feshizzy in check. Like, I no go fit deposit $2,000 for my account and I go dey take trinket of trades. His self control is a god on its own. I envy that god, cos I no get am. I sincerely hope for 2022 to change my narratives.

I once said it here, when you put money in an account to trade, make sure you don't plan in withdrawing from it in a minimum of 6 months, especially from small account where the profit no reach anything.

Always having this in mind has set me on a different path entirely, because that my account is on a "no debit" for the next 3 years, so why the hurry?

Secondly, believe your strategy and most importantly respect what the market gives you.
5 pips in the bag is better than 200 pips not promised. There's always future opportunities, so why the rush?

There has been challenges and temptations, but i have a bigger picture at play, a very big picture,

Forex trading comes with lots of sacrifices,
I have been up all night for most nights,
Looking for setups and always validating my entries,
The result looks beautiful, but omo the process is not for the weak.

Always backtest your strategy over and over again, till it becomes your second nature.
Don't concentrate on winning trades during test instead work more on minimising drawdowns because there will be DDs.


And again, backtest your strategy till it drills into your psychology, make the market no go surprise you and humble you.

Remember, the goal is always to keep what you make.

I know the challenge was 10 - 50 usd to 500k in 3 years.
But make we talk true, na only kidnapping or banditry fit bring that kein returns.

So for me i would set a more reachable goal,
That would be 100 usd to 15,000 usd in 3 years
Or 1,000 usd to 150,000 in 3 years
Or 2,000 usd to 300,000 in 3 years.

This is more of a personal challenge now, anyone can join though,
Every strategy is allowed, no limits, no rules, just make money

Even if na demo account, all join. The goal is to make money.

Thus it might range for a while. Till a new sentiment is made and where it is currently its at a tested resistance area
