This kind of thing happened to me. Mine is even worse because I had compounding problems. I had already written a letter stating that I made a mistake ΐϞ my brother's DOB (I filled june, instead of jjuly, guess that's y they asked 4 his originbal birth cert). Αη∂ included ΐϞ the letter was a list of things I was attaching. I included ΐϞ the letter,thati was attachiing a copy of my scanned receipt αη∂ sent it to my friend ΐϞ Lag to submiit for me. But when I was meant to submit to beat the deadline, it wasn't confirmed yet in my schoool account. So VAC aadvised that I photocopied that medicals letter αη∂ use it to submit my receipt wheenever it is ready.
Meanyl, I had no wire transcation receipt included, because my brother didn't want to send it via email.
The nxt mon I submitted it αη∂ by wed CDHC called me (asking why my receeipt wasn't ΐϞ the parcel I sent them) αη∂ I told them what happeened αη∂ that i have finally submitted it on mon. The VO told me, she awaits my receipt then. On friday, my status changed, even CDHC sent me an email. Becausee I kept on sending them mails, asking if the receipt has gotten to them αη∂ attaching the copy of the receipt via email.

So don't worry, but disturb ur schoool, get the receipt αη∂ submit it to cdhc via vac, once you get it. All the best! Hope u've got a copy of dat med letter? If not head to VAC with it (once u get it) αη∂ also tell them ur applicatioon number. Also I think you shoould email them, telling them what happened.

I also added my corrected family information form, with a letter stating the mistake I made in it.
I also included photocopy of my brother’s intl passport data page

@Mercy αη∂ co, I'm so sorry. Guess people like me are just priviledged because we've come across this thread like a year before applying. I started with part one. I learnt a lot before submission. Pls don't give up, all d expos are here! We all will make it.

hello y'all. my status changed today yll I was tracking on VAC website @ abt 9:11 to-
Your application has been assessed by the Canadian High Commission/Consulate General of Canada and is being returned to the centre where you applied.
Few mins ago, I tracked it again αη∂ it changed to-
Your application reference number NGA/******/****/** is now ready for collection.Please visit the centre where you submitted your application with your Receipt and Identification Proof between 08:00am and 03:30 pm (Local Time) all working days to collect the same which has been processed on 13/07/2012

1. Payment of one year tuition/Booard fees.
2. Original copy of my sponsor's birth certificate.

I've a lil problem y'all, my sponsor is ΐϞ australia αη∂ needs his birth cert for his PR. I'm so confused on what to do about that. Cos they actually noted that when asked for originalss, notoorrised copies aren't accepted. Thanks

Finally, I found the part 3. Its not just becos Caanada is student friendly. It is also because, we r very wonderful people here. It is as if we were selected. Wonderful helpful people. I hope this brotherly love will continue ΐϞ Canada αη∂ we will iimpact their country positively.

I submitted to VAC on 14th May.
It got to CDHC on 15th May.
I tracked it online 12th June around 8:45am, no change, then around 9:30am, I tried again, andd my changed to-Please contact the Visa Application Centre for further instructions , your attention is required at the earliest.

I'm on my way to Lagos now, I'll keeep u guys posted. Thanks y'all.

@manweysabi, my advice on police report is this: chill till u come to lagos for submission, then u'll do it @ Obalande. Its takes less than 2hrs αη∂ will cost like 3K. I just did mine last friday. Meanwhile b4 dat, I went to d police headquaters @ ABJ, they demanded 20K from me αη∂ said the reason was thaat they had to go to lagos αη∂ process it. So I was like since I was going to lagos to submit it, let mee rather do it there too αη∂ I did.

Abt the sponsor, I know people that used non relatives, but they showed previous cases of hellp to the family(esp ΐϞ their education) or pictures together αη∂ an affidavit of sponsor from him. Try αη∂ make it tight, avoiding irrelevant doc, so as not to look desperate. Hope this helps

Also u said, one wuld b given a form to take to crestview radiology 4 X ray. Is it ΐϞ the same hospital or ouside thee hospital. If outside, watz d proximity like from the hospital.

Dooc I sbmitted are SOP, 3 leetteers of recommeendation, Application Fee of 100 dollars, application online, transcript, attestation to my degree reesult(my registrar wrote to UofM saying that my degree cert wasn't ready yet), copy of my intl passport. I hope that is all loll, coss I applied to two schools αη∂ they had slightly diff req. but u can get all that ΐϞ their website. It is clarly written.
No GRE was required
I was exempted from TOEFL
U must find a supeervisor first before applying. If not, you can't get the admission, its dat serrious ΐϞ uofM

Hello, I just submitted my application thru VAC yesterday. I'm hopeful to hear a Medical call from them ΐϞ less than a month, to really join the league of edugirl αη∂ co. Pls I eant to know how long it takes to get an appointment for medicals, I have to apply b4 time abi? Or is it first comee, first serve? Which placee is faster for Medicals?

hello people, its been i while i wrote here. congrats to y'all that just got ur visas, hopefully we would see soon.
i had to chill to finish my NYSC, before going for my masters next year fall.
pls right now, i am really indecisive on what field to do my masters. i graduated from electronic and computer engineering and majored in telecommunication. i am thinking of going for my research in the area of biomedical engineering or still continue in ECE, majoring in  electromagnetics/ mobile communication. pls does of u there that are engineers, could u please advise me on the fields that are very needed in Canada right now. thanks.
also, i  am planning on applying to university of british columbia and university of toronto. how likely am i to get the admisssion? any other thing i need to know about the school? i will be glad if u guys let me know. thanks, seriously waiting for ur repliesssssssssssssssss

kudos to u all, this forum made me proud to be a Nigerian. please i graduated last year august from Electronic and computer engineering with a CGP of 4.1, and i intend to further my masters in Canada this september.  i checked university of manitoba and their deadline has elapsed. any idea of a good University that i can apply to ASAP, that will b willing to take me?
